Yakuza: Like a Dragon was‚ in many ways‚ a risk. A brand-new protagonist‚ the charming and lighthearted Ichiban Kasuga‚ replaced the legendary Kazuma Kiryu‚ while the series’ long-iterated action-brawler combat was switched out for an experimental turn-based RPG system. Despite these risks‚ it went on to become one of the most critically and commercially successful entries in the series to date.
