Here’s the synopsis: A charming‚ unexpected mix of When Harry Met Sally by way of Futurama‚ Molli and Max in the Future is the story of a woman (Zosia Mamet‚ The Flight Attendant‚ Girls) and a man (Saturday Night Live‘s Aristotle Athari) whose orbits repeatedly collide over the course of twelve years‚ four planets‚ three dimensions‚ and one space cult.Created by a group of friends‚ featuring hundreds of handmade sets and otherworldly backdrops‚ and made with nothing but unabashed love for romantic comedies‚ this plucky‚ lo-fi misadventure blasts the “meet-cute” into deep space while perfectly – and adorably – tackling the ups and downs of Earthbound relationships. Mamet and Athari are both also executive producers on the film‚ which is directed by Michael Lukk Litwak (Snatchers).
