Elden Ring's massive open world is filled with a number of secrets. You might find yourself exploring new areas and coming across a chest capable of sending you to a new location. Or you might just return to a previously visited place at night, only to be attacked by a new boss who wasn't there before. This uncertainty the game provides at every turn is one of the prime reasons why it is such a blast to play, although fans sometimes have a bit of trouble with the obtuse nature of this brutal Soulsborne title.
