Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees/Mad Season), Peter Buck (R.E.M.), Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes) and singer/songwriter Joseph Arthur are the Silverlites.  The first single is, “Don’t Go, Don’t Stay,” which will be on the band’s self-titled debut album, due on November 15th. Don’t Go, Don’t Stay “We used a classic songwriting form, which is often forgotten in this day and age,” explained Martin regarding the lead track and the album. “That is, acoustic guitars with superb lead vocals, catchy backing vocals, and a soulful backbeat in the rhythm section.
