Apple Pie Dip

Apple Pie Dip comes together fast using a handful of common ingredients. It’s a creamy, fall inspired, apple pie spiced dessert dip topped with apple pie filling. A 15-MINUTE DESSERT DIP All the warm, comforting flavors of apple pie, but now, in a fun, shareable dessert dip! I absolutely love sweet dessert dips. I can take a sweet dip and my Pumpkin Shaped Cheeseball to any gathering and I can guarantee you they will be gone fast! People love finger foods and they love to eat things they don’t normally make for themselves. This is great for a light dessert too when you don’t want anything too heavy but you’re feeling like a little something sweet. It whips up quickly and gives you all the apple pie flavors without the fuss of making a pie! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:  Can I make this ahead of time? This can be made the night before. If possible, I’d recommend waiting to add the apple pie topping until ready to serve. What’s the best way to cut up the apples in the filling? I really think this serves up much easier when the apples in the canned apple pie filling have been chopped into smaller pieces. The easiest way to do this is to take a knife and insert it into the can and kind of saw back and forth with it in the can. If you need a visual on how to do this, I explain this process best in my Easy Apple Danish recipe. Can I switch out the pie filling? This is a great recipe to have fun with and change up something each time you make it. Instead of the apple pie filling, next time, try using peach pie filling. Feel free to swap the apple pie spice with plain cinnamon. You could even make my Cherry Cheesecake Dip which is a similar concept with slightly different ingredients, and man, is it another fun dessert dip! I like a super thick dip, how do I change this up to make it thicker? This dip is designed to be an easily scoop-able dip. However, if you want it even thicker, instead of using the sweetened condensed milk, swap it out for marshmallow fluff and give it a try. How do I store leftovers? Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days in a covered container. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE) block cream cheese– softened to room temperature.
