Lainey Wilson Makes Zach Top Shake His “Big Ol’ Booty” While Performing “Keeping Up With Jones”

Lainey Wilson's officially closed out her Country's Cool Again Tour. This tour has been filled with so many memorable moments. From Wilson making a little girl's dream of getting a horse trailer come true and singing on stage with a two-time cancer survivor to dancing on stage in a chicken costume while singing "Counting Chickens" and reading some hilarious signs fans made, this tour has looked like too much fun. During the last night of the tour, Wilson and her supporting acts went out with a bang, pulling some good fun end-of-tour pranks on one another and putting one kickass show in Wilson's home state of Louisiana. During one moment of the tour, Wilson and Top brought back a hilarious reference from earlier in the tour. In Omaha, Nebraska, during Wilson's set, there is a portion where she brings out Zach Top, and they sing “Keeping Up With Jones.” They have also been seen laying down a killer cover of Johnny Paycheck’s “Take This Job And Shove It.” Before they got into singing in Nebraska, Wilson asked Top what they had in common, to which Top wittily responded. “Our big booties?” Wilson was thrown entirely off guard as she expected him to speak on their shared love for George Jones, leading into their duet of "Keeping Up With Jones." Wilson, who is also can throw a joke back on the fly, hit him with a great response: “He’s got a dump like a truck. Y’all started that hashtag about me. It’s really about Zach Top. You’ve been doing those squats.” Since that Omaha show, the joke has lived on as they revisited the moment during her final show in Monroe, Louisiana. Wilson sets up the scene, telling fans about the moment from a few stops ago. "Our big booties. I was like...what, come again? I was talking about our love for George Jones, and you're gonna get up here and start talking about butts. Anyway. I've got a little surprise for y'all because lately, we don't call him Zach Top; we call him Zach Bottom because he's got a big ole booty, too." The duo then starts performing "Keeping Up With Jones," but Wilson takes his microphone and turns it away from the crowd before Zach Top comes in for the second verse. "Get up there, Zach. Turn around."  Top then faces away from the crowd and lays down the lyrics all while shaking his honky tonk badonkadonk. After a few lines, he turns back around to face the audience and brings it home with the remainder of the lyrics. The whole time, the crowd is left in a fit of laughter, and Wilson is right there with them, giggling into the microphone. Zach Top and Lainey Wilson have a little brother/big sister dynamic, which works perfectly on stage. I know I will miss moments like this of them on tour; they are a hoot. @whiskeyriff Zach Bottom can lay it down. @Zach Top // ?: @Mackenzie Simmons #whiskeyriff #laineywilson #zachtop ♬ original sound - Whiskey Riff
