Darryl Worley Shares Graphic Photos Of Daughter Savannah’s Injuries From Car Wreck: “Blessed That She Is Alive And Well”

Yeah, that looks pretty gnarly. A couple weeks ago, country singer Darryl Worley shared that his 16-year old daughter Savannah had been in a serious car accident and had to be life flighted to the hospital. The singer was in New Mexico for a show at the time, and had to rush back to Nashville to be with his daughter at Vanderbilt University Hospital. In his initial post, Worley shared some about the injuries that Savannah suffered in the wreck: "She has a broken leg, bruises, and lacerations! Please pray for her and pray I can get home to be with my baby girl and Kimberly! Also pray for the lady in the other car! I don’t have any details on the accident but just ask you to pray!! Thank you!" https://twitter.com/darrylworley/status/1858373333990978004 Looking at the photos of the cars, it's safe to say that it's a miracle that everybody survived. And a couple of days later, Worley was able to share a positive update about her recovery: “May be raining today but my sunshine is awake with a little smile on her face! It’s been a rough few days but we know God is in control and shielded Savannah in all of this! Not sure when she will get to go home, but today looks a lot better than yesterday or the day before!” https://twitter.com/darrylworley/status/1858910734396387659 Needless to say, Darryl and his family had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, and over the holiday weekend he shared an update not only Savannah but also the other woman involved in the accident: "It was a head on collision that occurred less than a mile from our house. I was coming out of New Mexico that day trying to get home when I heard about her crash. I was unable to make it to Nashville that night. They had life flighted her to Vanderbilt and her surgeries were scheduled for early the next morning. I flew out of Dallas thinking I wouldn’t be there in time for her surgeries. God saw fit to let those surgeries be postponed until the afternoon and I made it in time to be there while she was going through her operations. I am thrilled to say that Savannah and the other lady are both recovering and everyone survived. Please pray for the lady who was also injured in the crash. We are praying diligently for her and her family. I am so thankful today that these two get to spend time with their loved ones at this special time of year after such an intense episode. We are all so grateful to God for his continued mercy and grace." https://twitter.com/darrylworley/status/1862945930762457230 And he also shared some photos of her injuries - photos that he says Savannah herself selected to share. In the pictures you can see the teenager's foot with the screws still holding her toe in place, which Worley jokes that Savannah calls her "turkey toe." The photos are a bit graphic, so if you don't want to see them you can go ahead and stop reading now. But it's safe to say that it's a lot better than it could have been - and that the whole family was a little extra thankful on Thanksgiving this year. https://twitter.com/darrylworley/status/1862353389041877482
