Zach Top Stunned By Fans’ NSFW Sign: “Y’all Are Having Too Good Of A Time”
Well, that's one way to kick off a concert.
Zach Top is one of the hottest names in country music right now. The Washington native is reviving the sound of classic '90s country and proved he is here to stay with the release of his debut record this year, Cold Beer & Country Music, and with his first CMA nomination in the New Artist of the Year category. But if you're like us and don't see the award shows as a carried weight for whether you're on the road to success, his consistently sold-out shows should tell you he's doing something right.
And while Zach Top is hot for his music, his fans also have the hots for him.
Over the last year, we have seen many hilarious concert moments in which fans have written some rather colorful things on signs for their favorite artist to see. One man told Lainey Wilson that she was his hall pass, and let's also not forget the number of panties and bras that have been thrown at Riley Green or Morgan Wallen.
At a recent show, Zach Top got a taste of these crazed fans when two girls held up their phones with a very sexually explicit phrase. Early in the show, he told the crowd he was looking forward to spending the night with them.
"Y'all are wonderful tonight. I can tell that we are going to have a good time, and thank y'all for joining us for it."
After that opening sentence, Top spotted two girls holding up the NSFW phrase from the crowd. Their phones displayed "Sit on your face?" written across their screens.
Woah, now, ladies! Zach Top is a taken man!
Zach Top spotted the phones and had to take a step back from the microphone to giggle. He was not expecting to see such a wild thing so early in the evening. After gaining some composure, he spoke into the microphone, noting that some fans were having a little more fun than others.
"Some of y'all are having too good of a time already."
The girls who shared the video were clearly doing it for fun. They also shared the rest of their night at the show, highlighting a few of their favorite moments, including Zach Top covering Merle Haggard's "I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink."
If Zach Top was a single man, you have to respect these girls' commitment to getting his attention because, with a bold phrase plastered across your phone screen, you're sure to get a reaction.
While it was all in good fun, I'd watch out. His new girlfriend, Amelia, looks like a sweetheart, but I wouldn't want to cross the woman of any taken man... it sounds like a recipe for disaster.
