Trump Media Empire Expands Streaming Power With Nationwide Tech Deployment

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Trump Media & Technology Group, known for operating the social media platform Truth Social, has expanded its reach by upgrading its free speech content delivery network (CDN) to a multi-site operation spanning various US locations. This enhancement facilitates the delivery of its new TV streaming service, Truth+, through a more robust and widely distributed network free of Big Tech. TMTG’s expansion signals a significant enhancement in its streaming technology infrastructure, as content is now streamed from several geographic points. This distributed approach not only bolsters the efficiency of the network but also aligns with the company’s strategic goal to fortify itself as a bulwark of uncensored communication online. “We’re pleased to report our CDN is operating excellently and is quickly enhancing,” said TMTG CEO Devin Nunes in a statement. “With additional data centers expected to open soon, our TV streaming capabilities and content are expanding rapidly, consistent with Truth Social’s goal to become the unassailable fortress of free speech on the internet.” The Truth Plus interface inside the Truth Social app. The Truth+ service, accessible via Truth Social and soon to be available as a stand-alone application, is designed to ensure rapid streaming through TMTG’s exclusive servers and technological setup. It aims to offer programming, including news, Christian content, and other shows, which are often at risk of being suppressed by major tech entities. The Truth+ icon already appears in the Truth Social app, allowing users to access the streaming service. This integration provides options for viewing content in various formats, including distinct channels or a picture-in-picture mode. In the future, Truth+ plans to enhance viewer engagement by introducing features such as a 14-day interactive electronic guide, instant catch-up TV, network DVR, video on demand, and in-home streaming capabilities. LISTEN: Mark Levin and Commissioner Carr Blast FCC for Licking Soros’s Boots

Radio host Mark Levin ripped apart an absurd FCC decision to waive a national security review of leftist billionaire George Soros’s foreign-backed purchase of radio giant Audacy.  On the Sept. 24 edition of The Mark Levin Show, guest Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr reminded Levin that the decision would effectively hand America’s most notorious billionaire de facto control of stations carrying a “number of conservative outlets” including several that carry Levin’s show.  Levin was well aware, as one of Audacy’s stations with an enormous (50,000 watt) reach, Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Philadelphia, had already dropped his show.  Levin referred to Soros’s acquisition of over 200 radio stations as “a way of pushing and silencing voices.” Carr added that big investments in local radio stations are extremely rare and agreed that Soros may have a motive other than profit for buying Audacy.  “This is a free speech issue and this is an attack on conservative talk radio,” Levin told Carr. “The Democrats have sought to compete against conservative talk radio, particularly the big hosts when there was Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, my show, Bongino, others. We're really the targets here,” he continued. Levin theorized that the Soros empire was trying to get this done before the election so that “if they lose the election they still have these 220 stations and if they win the election they've created a precedent.” Earlier this year, Soros Fund Management purchased $400 million of Audacy’s debt — roughly a 40 percent stake in the company — taking over 16 radio stations that Audacy features or streams, each also with a massive 50,000-watt broadcasting range. Following Soros’s move, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell warned the FCC on two separate occasions not to bend the rules to help the leftist billionaire spread propaganda nationwide.  In April 2024, Bozell wrote to the FCC: “The Communications Act does not contain a special Soros shortcut. And the FCC should not countenance this request for one.” Bozell also noted that the Soros group purchasing Audacy has admitted that foreign ownership of Audacy will exceed the legal limit of 25 percent following the purchase. In a Sept. 18 decision, published on Sept. 30, the three Democrat-appointed FCC commissioners outrageously gave Soros precisely that shortcut in an election year, eliminating a potential year-long review. Carr also denounced the decision in a post on X after it was made public. “The Commission’s decision today is unprecedented,” Carr wrote.  The commissioner continued: “Never before has the Commission voted to approve the transfer of a broadcast license—let alone the transfer of broadcast licenses for over 200 radio stations across more than 40 markets—without following the requirements and procedures codified in federal law. Not once.” NEW The FCC just released the text of its 3-2 decision to approve a Soros backed group’s purchase of 200+ radio stations. The Commission’s decision today is unprecedented. California’s Gavin Newsom Makes SHOCK Decision on Google-Favoring AI Bill

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) has vetoed a sweeping Big Tech censorship bill which favored Google over open-source tech developers.. On Sunday afternoon, Newsom announced his veto of the Safe and Secure Innovation for Frontier Artificial Intelligence Models Act. Had it been enacted, the bill would have made open-source artificial intelligence (AI) developers responsible for other people’s use and modification of their technology, likely moving the entire AI industry towards the censorship-heavy closed-source models of California tech giant Google. In a statement explaining his veto, Newsom wrote: “the bill applies stringent standards to even the most basic functions [of AI] - so long as a large system deploys it. I do not believe this is the best approach to protecting the public from real threats posed by the technology.” Google operates a closed-source AI called Gemini, which can only be seen and modified behind closed doors by the company’s own engineers, with even the product’s licensees kept in the dark. The Media Research Center has extensively documented how Gemini is biased against conservatives and American ideals.  Google’s competitors like OpenAI, Meta and X (formerly Twitter) offer open-sourced AI, which permit users to observe their code, see their biases and even modify their models to create something better. These AI programs would have been targeted by the Frontier AI Act.  In an Andreessen Horowitz podcast uploaded June 19, 2024, AI expert Anjney Midha warned that if the Frontier AI Act became law, “open source AI research in the U.S. will be completely crushed due to the legal risks involved.” The Frontier AI Act (also called Senate Bill 1047) was written by Silicon Valley Senator Scott Weiner, an anti-free speech zealot who claimed that “Twitter now houses a zombie apocalypse army of hate.” In a statement posted on X after Newsom’s veto, Weiner complained: “This veto is a missed opportunity for California to once again lead on innovative tech regulation — just as we did around data privacy and net neutrality — and we are all less safe as a result.”  Weiner argued Newsom should have supported the bill, as it was supported by “[l]eaders from across civil society, from Hollywood to women’s groups to youth activists.”   US Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), who served as speaker of the U.S. House, joined free speech activists and tech entrepreneurs in opposing the Frontier AI Act. Pelosi warned: “While [I] want California to lead in AI in a way that protects consumers, data, intellectual property and more, SB 1047 is more harmful than helpful in that pursuit.” Conservatives are under attack. Idaho former teacher pleads guilty to raping boy who was adopted just days before sexual assault

A former Idaho schoolteacher will face prison time after she pleaded guilty to raping a boy who had been adopted just days before she sexually assaulted him. Jessica Lawson, 36, accepted a plea deal for felony sexual battery and charges of felony rape of a minor, the New York Post reported. Lawson had previously faced charges of felony delivery of a controlled substance and misdemeanor dispensing alcohol to a minor for reportedly giving the 16-year-old boy marijuana and alcohol, but those charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.'My son is going to take a long time to heal, and he doesn’t even know the wounds that he has yet.'The judge ordered Lawson to not have contact with the victim for 20 years. As Blaze News previously reported on the teacher sex scandal, an officer with the Saint Anthony Police Department pulled over a vehicle for having no visible taillights on Nov. 6, 2023. A teen boy was driving the vehicle, but police allegedly determined the car belonged to Lawson. The teenager told the police officer that Lawson allowed him to drive her car "due to her being too drunk to drive," according to the police report. The teen admitted to police that he had consumed marijuana, and the officer drove him home, according to court documents. The next morning, the boy's parents contacted the Saint Anthony Police Department to report that their son had an improper relationship with Lawson.Lawson was a teacher at South Fremont High School at the time. The boy allegedly told investigators that Lawson got intoxicated and provided him with marijuana before the pair had sex. Court documents said Lawson admitted to picking up the teen from his house, taking him to her house, and providing him with alcohol. However, she purportedly denied supplying marijuana to the boy but confessed that she had the drug in her home. Lawson allegedly denied that "anything else had occurred."The victim’s father said his child was adopted just days before the crime came to light, and the victim grew up in foster homes.“It takes a village to raise a young man, especially a young man that has been in and out of foster care, that has never known what it’s like to have a mom and a dad,” the father said in court, according to the East Idaho News. “My son is going to take a long time to heal, and he doesn’t even know the wounds that he has yet. He’s not going to understand those wounds until he’s a parent, and he’s sending his daughter or son … to the house of a parent that he trusts.”The victim’s mother added, “We brought [the victim] in because he needed somebody, and he didn’t have anybody ... It was pretty quick that we realized this is a really great kid, and he’s wonderful, and he should be in our family.”The victim's mother also said, "He’s got a lot of problems because he didn’t have a mom and dad that taught him how to recognize safe people." She then told Lawson: "And you took advantage of that ... she knew she could get something from him."Lawson apologized to the victim, his family, and the community. She blamed an abusive relationship of 15 years for being the “catalyst” for her crimes.“I alone am responsible for my actions, but I believe [a prior] relationship was the catalyst that set me down the path to where I am today,” Lawson stated. “I want to apologize to the victim and his family for any pain that I have caused. I want to apologize to the community and anyone I’ve let down.”The boy's parents claimed there was a double standard in the case because Lawson is a female. Senior District Judge Stephen Dunn retorted, "This is probably the sixth time I’ve dealt with a case like this, where the defendant was a female teacher. Sometimes the victims are male, and sometimes they’re female. There isn’t a double standard. The standards are the same. A person underage does not have the legal ability to consent to this kind of behavior. The responsibility is all on the defendant."A spokesperson for the Fremont County School District told Law & Crime that Lawson had worked as a high school teacher from 2021 to the spring of 2023.Like Blaze News?
