Toddler Has Epic Reaction To Seeing Bubbles For The First Time

As we get older, we tend to lose our sense of wonder over the little things. Luckily, there are plenty of kids who are quick to remind us that the world can be a pretty cool place. This can even be true of the simplest moments, one of which took place during a boy’s 1st birthday party. The toddler, who is named Bento, had no idea what his parents had in store for him on his big day. To celebrate, Bento’s loved ones gathered together, no doubt giving him delightful gifts. But the best one the toddler received has to be bubbles. This gift may seem simple to us adults, but for Bento, it was more akin to being introduced to magic. As soon as Dad blew bubbles in the direction of his son, the boy’s whole face lit up with joy! Watch Bento’s wholesome reaction for yourself in the popular video below. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Pubity (@pubity) Mouth agape and eyes wide open, Bento can hardly contain the level of excitement that fills his tiny little body. Not even a second round of bubbles can diminish the exciting he was feeling in that moment. How sweet is that!? We can’t experience bubbles for the first time again, of course, but what a joy it is to see this sweet boy experience this first! Parents Share Their Toddler’s Magical Moment With Bubbles During His 1st Birthday Party “So sweet how the simplest things can bring such joy to a child!” someone points out in the comment section of the video, with another adding, “Magic! It’s still alive in them.” “This is so beautiful,” a third person shares. “I’m here smiling; the baby’s joy is contagious.” You can find the source of this story’s featured image here! Ventriloquist Talks At The Same Time As His Puppet In Seemingly Impossible Feat

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a ventriloquist as “one who provides entertainment by using ventriloquism to carry on an apparent conversation with a hand-manipulated dummy.” Being able to “throw” your voice without moving your lips is a talent few have mastered. Ventriloquist Jack Williams can speak for his puppet without moving his lips. He can also talk in his normal voice and the voice of his puppet simultaneously! @puppetjack_ Replying to @Apple Talking #fypシ゚viral #fypシ #delayed #ventriloquism #xybca #challenge #viral #trending ♬ original sound – Jack Williams Several of his fans challenged Jack to develop this special talent, and he obliged. Jack has several videos on TikTok demonstrating his unique ability with different puppets and voices. He is 25 years old and has been performing for 13 years. He received his first ventriloquist puppet from his father, who used the same dummy during childhood. @puppetjack_ Replying to @Flappybird564 Basketball #fypシ゚viral #fyp #challenge #tutorial #ventriloquism #voice #howto #delayed #xycba #viral #trending ♬ original sound – Jack Williams Jack’s popularity surged after his America’s Got Talent (AGT) performance during Season 17 in 2022. He didn’t win the competition but advanced to the top five finalists before elimination. Jack uses several puppets during his performances, providing voices for human-like characters and talking animal friends. Working with a ventriloquist puppet can be unpredictable. The dummies can have a mind of their own and might say anything during the act. The ventriloquist must be able to think on the go and switch up the act on a second’s notice. Jack possesses an amazingly honed talent and is a joy to watch. His dream goal is to be a live performer on the Las Vegas Strip one day. If you enjoyed the snippets above, you can follow Jack and his various ventriloquist puppets on social media. He has 1.5 million fans on TikTok and is also on Instagram. He is hilarious and extremely talented, even when his dummies steal center stage. Please share this. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Click to Skip Ahead What Is Malassezia Dermatitis? Signs  Causes  Diagnosis Care Guide Frequently Asked Questions  Your cat is losing hair and, quite honestly, smells like corn chips. You know it’s not normal, so you call your veterinary hospital to schedule an appointment. Your head is spinning after your veterinarian suggests a skin impression and diagnoses a Malassezia infection. What is that? Let’s take the mystery out of this skin infection. What Is Malassezia Dermatitis? Malassezia pachydermatis is a particular species of yeast. This organism usually lives in small numbers on your dog or cat’s skin and ears. However, it occasionally grows out of control, leading to skin or ear infections. This species of yeast got its name from elephants or pachyderms. With severe or chronic Malassezia infections, your pet’s skin can thicken like leather or an elephant’s skin. Malassezia dermatitis differs from thrush in cats and is caused by Candida albicans. Image Credit: RJ22, Shutterstock What Are the Signs of Malassezia Dermatitis in Cats? Cats with a Malassezia skin infection may present with a variety of signs. The cat may be itchy, ranging from mild to intensely pruritic. Your cat might also have an odor. Some people equate it to corn chips, but remember that other things, such as bacterial skin infections, can have a similar smell. Often, the coat and skin of affected cats change. You might see: Hair loss (alopecia) Red skin or ears Lichenification of the skin, where it gets thick and leathery feeling Dry, flaking skin, with or without extra greasy skin Hyperpigmentation or darker coloring on areas like the bottom of the belly Crusting or brown staining around the nail beds If your cat only has one or more of the following signs of Malassezia, it might be evidence of an ear infection. Dark, smelly discharge in one or both ears Red pinnae Scratches or broken hairs on the back of your cat’s pinnae Head tilt Consulting a veterinarian is recommended for the best course of action. It’s an online service where you can talk to a vet online and get the personalized advice you need for your pet — all at an affordable price! Click to Speak With a Vet What Are the Causes of Malassezia Dermatitis in Cats? Malassezia dermatitis generally occurs when a cat has a disruption of the normal skin barrier. Without your cat’s body’s normal protective mechanisms in place, your cat is at risk for yeast and even bacterial infections. Allergies are quite common in our kitties, just like they can be for people. Allergies in cats are usually divided into four main categories: Environmental Food Insect Contact Allergies can make our cats itchy or pruritic, further disrupting the skin barrier. Metabolic conditions are sometimes associated with skin lesions and Malassezia infections. Hyperthyroidism in cats can lead to overgrooming. Certain medications increase the likelihood of suppressing your cat’s immune system and make secondary infections more likely. A common medication category is steroids. Interestingly, steroids are also used to decrease skin inflammation. Chemotherapy medications can also affect the immune system. Image Credit: fotovictoria, Shutterstock Diagnosing Malassezia Dermatitis in Your Cat If your cat has hair loss or lichenified skin, how exactly do we get a diagnosis and figure out what’s going on? First, your veterinarian will take a thorough history. Your vet will likely need to know things like: What foods does your cat eat? When was the last time you applied flea prevention? Have you used new laundry detergent? Can you think of anything that might have changed in your cat’s environment? Make sure to let your veterinary team know. Your vet will examine your cat from nose to tail. They’ll need to look inside your cat’s ears, between your feline’s toes, and on the cat’s belly. Your veterinarian will look for evidence of fleas, broken hairs, scaly skin, or signs of an ear infection. To diagnose Malassezia, your vet will generally utilize a skin cytology. They will take a glass microscope slide and collect smears from your cat’s skin, particularly places like the claw folds. The vet can also use a piece of tape to collect cells. The veterinary team stains the shoe and examines it under the microscope, looking for bacteria, yeast, and other cells. Sometimes, your veterinarian will use other diagnostic tools. Blood work and a urinalysis are helpful to rule out metabolic issues like kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. A fungal culture is used to diagnose certain dermatophytes, which we commonly refer to as ringworm. A skin biopsy is used to diagnose conditions such as an autoimmune disorder. Image Credit: Yaroslav Astakhov, Shutterstock How Do I Care for a Cat With Malassezia Dermatitis? Topical therapy is the most commonly utilized treatment for Malassezia dermatitis, but oral medications are also used, especially in severe cases. Your veterinarian might prescribe topical spot-on medications like miconazole. Shampoos are helpful because they treat the infection and may help improve the skin barrier. By using topical medications like ketoconazole shampoo, you can get higher concentrations of the antifungal at the skin level where you need it. Oral antifungal medications are helpful when you might have trouble treating an area topically. Unfortunately, these medications may have an increased rush of side effects, from causing inappetence to liver damage. If your cat needs to be on antifungal medication long-term, your veterinarian may need regular blood monitoring. It’s important to treat the underlying cause of skin issues. Allergies may be treated with immunotherapy (allergy shots) or medications like Atopica (cyclosporine). For long-term control, you may need to use maintenance topical therapy or pulse-dosing oral medications. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Can you prevent Malassezia dermatitis? It’s difficult to completely prevent a Malassezia infection because so many contributing factors exist. You can try to stay ahead of the problem with topical therapy, like antifungal shampoo or mousse. Omega-3 fatty acids are also helpful in strengthening your cat’s skin barrier. Is Malassezia otitis the same as dermatitis? Malassezia otitis is specifically an ear infection caused by an overgrowth of Malassezia. At the same time, dermatitis refers to an issue affecting the skin more generally. Conclusion Malassezia dermatitis may be less commonly diagnosed in cats than dogs, but it’s no less frustrating. Your veterinarian must diagnose the condition with a skin cytology and treatment may involve regularly bathing your cat or oral antifungal medication. Harvard Scientist States AI Aliens Are Visiting Earth

A new movie on Amazon Prime called Project Alien Earth states that Ufos that people are seeing in the skies may actually be AI drones from other planets and not sentient beings. This theory is proposed by eminent scientist Prof. Avi Loeb from Harvard University. He actually suggests that our AI systems may end up imitating Alien AI systems and bypassing humanity altogether “I can imagine sending AI astronauts to those long journeys. And similarly, if there were other technological civilizations billions of years ago that predated us, they might have sent AI astronauts. Now our AI astronauts maybe less advanced than theirs, and if they visit us, of course we can use our AI systems to interpret their AI systems. And then, you know, they might feel kinship to them. And it’ll give a new twist on Alan Touring’s imitation game, which was intended for AI systems here on Earth to imitate humans because we are trying to make them in our image. But in the future, our AI systems might try to imitate extraterrestrial AI systems because they will be far more advanced and perhaps once they reach similar levels, you know, that will usher our way into the class of intelligence civilizations of the Milky Way galaxy. You know, that’s one way to get admitted.” The film also looks at how the profound impact that the discovery of Alien life would have on religion and society. Seth Shostak the Chief Astronomer at SETI (Search For Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) suggests it maybe akin to the impact that Christopher Columbus and the arrival of Europeans in the new world – a reverse colonialism – with Aliens imposing their own beliefs and Gods (or none at all) on us the more primitive people. He states “what if the aliens came to Earth? That’s a completely different story. It’s a completely different scenario. And it’s even potentially dangerous, often in the movies it’s dangerous. And that’s because anybody that could actually come here, you know, whatever they wanna do, they can do it because there’s so much more advanced than we are technically. It’s a bit like the Native Americans sitting around a campfire in 1490s hey, and they’re thinking, you know, there might be other societies on the other side of all that water down there. What if they came here, you know? And they said, well, we ought to, we better organize and defend ourselves in case they’re aggressive. Really didn’t matter what they did, that other society was much more advanced than theirs by centuries, really. And consequently, they were able to do whatever they wanted to do, good or bad.” The film also looks into the Bible for possible evidence of previous contact by extra terrestrials. There is a passage in Ezekiel which might be describing a UFO “Their appearance on construction being as it were, a wheel within a wheel.” The Bible holds a plethora of references to heavenly figures, which had been in interpreted in various ways by believers for centuries. Accounts of the watches, these angelic entities that descended to Earth to pass on their knowledge and wisdom to humanity are included in the Old Testament. And then the New Testament tales of Jesus being visited by angelic beings and also have been taken up into the heavens. Then we have the Book of Revelation, which describes these strange creatures with multiple eyes and wings that some people think are alien creatures. The film also looks at how a secret organisation within the US Government called The Collins Elite may be holding the true secrets about extra terrestrial visitations. Author Brian Allan talks about what this Collins Elite group found in their investigations of UFOs: “The ETs were not mechanical, they were not devices, they were not flying machines from other realities or dimensions. They came from  HELL”   The post Harvard Scientist States AI Aliens Are Visiting Earth appeared first on Anomalien.com.

Palworld dev responds to Nintendo and Pokemon infringement lawsuit

One of Steam’s most successful games is under fire as Palworld faces a new lawsuit filed by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. The survival game rocketed to the top of the Steam charts in January, and was quickly given the moniker of 'Pokemon with guns' due to its cast of adorable animal companions. However, it has also faced questions about numerous design similarities to existing creatures from the Pokemon series, and now Palworld developer Pocketpair is facing legal action from Nintendo itself. Saber CEO seemingly confirms controversial Space Marine 2 post is real

Earlier this week, PCGamesN reported on a post, left in response to a video by YouTuber ‘Asmongold’ about Space Marine 2, that was seemingly written by Saber CEO Matthew Karch. The post, written by an account with the name ‘@MatthewKarch,’ and using a photograph of the Saber boss, describes frustrations with videogames that make “overblown attempts at messaging or imposing morals on gamers.” PCGamesN contacted Saber to obtain confirmation whether the post was authentically written by Karch. The company refused to comment. Now, a LinkedIn account, also seemingly belonging to Karch, shares a comment that endorses the original YouTube post.
