Forgotten Megaliths of Gornaya Shoria: Evidence of a Lost Civilization?

Adding to the mounting evidence suggesting that megalithic sites around the world are far older than traditionally believed, a discovery in the remote Shoria Mountains of southern Siberia has challenged our understanding of ancient human history. Hidden for millennia, this site offers clues that civilizations far older than recorded history may have once existed. In the wild, untouched expanse of the Shoria Mountains, a remote region far from modern civilization, researchers stumbled upon a mysterious discovery—massive stone blocks of granite, precisely cut and arranged in ways that defy natural geological processes. These are not simple rock formations shaped by nature. The stones are separated from the surrounding terrain, uniformly shaped, with flat sides, and 90-degree angled corners. Some are even stacked, forming what can only be interpreted as structures. Gornaya Shoria, Mountainous Shoria, or Mountain Shoria is a territory in southern Siberia, Russia, east of the Altay Mountains.(Credit: Constantine C) Over the past few years, this obscure corner of Russia has gained attention due to these enormous rocks. Some are singular; others are piled upon each other, hinting at the remains of an ancient and sophisticated civilization. Geologic mapping of ridgecrests and summit of Mount Kuylyum by geologists, which was conducted in the late 1990s, identified these rock formations as denudated prepared ridges, which are ridges created by the natural and differential erosion of local bedrock. But not everyone agrees. In 2013, a team of 19 researchers, led by Georgi Sidorov, set out on an expedition to explore this enigmatic region. Their destination was Gornaya Shoria, a mountain that rises 3,600 feet above sea level in a remote part of southern Siberia. Intrigued by reports of strange megalithic structures, the team ventured into the secluded wilderness. What they found was nothing short of extraordinary: massive, precisely cut stones that seemed to be evidence of an ancient civilization far older than previously imagined. Georgi Sidorov The blocks they uncovered were unlike anything seen before—super-megaliths estimated to be around 100,000 years old. Composed of granite, these stones featured flat surfaces, sharp right angles, and precise geometric shapes, qualities that are difficult to explain through natural processes. The most astonishing detail was their size: some stones weighed over 3,000 tons, making them the largest megaliths ever discovered. They were carefully stacked, reaching a height of 140 feet, and appeared to have been deliberately arranged. This raises profound questions: How could such massive stones have been carved, transported, and assembled in this remote, rugged landscape? Could they be remnants of a technologically advanced civilization long forgotten? While some geologists suggest that the stones could be natural formations, the visual evidence strongly supports the idea that they were man-made. The precision with which these giant stones were shaped and stacked points to the use of advanced technology, especially considering the hardness of granite. The Megalithic Site Of Gornaya Shoria (Credit: Constantine C) Georgy Sidorov himself theorized that the site once held a massive structure, possibly a large building constructed from these megalithic blocks. Over time, it may have been destroyed by a catastrophic event, such as a massive explosion or seismic activity. The team found evidence of high heat, including burned rocks and parts of walls thrown over 500 meters from their original positions. Some rocks in the area also displayed negative magnetic fields, which caused compass needles to point away from the stones, a phenomenon that defies conventional explanation. The Megalithic Site Of Gornaya Shoria (Credit: Constantine C) This discovery adds to a growing list of megalithic sites in Russia and the former Soviet Union. For centuries, these ruins have been neglected, only gaining attention in recent decades. sha Other sites around the world, such as the Bosnian pyramids (believed to be around 30,000 years old) and China’s ancient pyramids, offer further evidence of a lost global civilization. One of the most remarkable findings in Gornaya Shoria was a deep, narrow vertical shaft discovered during the expedition. Lined with parallel stone slabs, the shaft appeared to be human-made, its walls polished and straight. The shaft descended approximately 130 feet before opening into an enormous underground hall 118 feet high, with megalithic blocks carefully fitted with minimal gaps. Some of these stones even resembled columns, reinforcing the idea that this was a deliberately designed structure. The shaft’s total length spanned over 350 feet, and the precision of its construction mirrored the sophisticated techniques seen in other ancient sites, such as the Great Pyramid of Giza. Speculation abounds as to the original purpose of the shaft. Some researchers suggest it may have had an advanced technological function, possibly as part of a larger, undiscovered structure. Others theorize it was part of an ancient factory, a seismological device, or even an energy generator. The precision with which the massive 200-ton stone blocks were assembled underground raises even more questions about the technology that might have been available to these ancient people. Deep in the Siberian Mountains, an ancient megalithic site has been discovered and it is mind-blowing. As researchers continue to investigate, the mystery deepens. Could these structures be part of a lost pyramid that once stood on the surface of the mountain? What ancient forces or forgotten civilizations left their mark on this remote corner of the world? Since Gornaya Shoria was discovered not so long ago, we still have limited information about the site. However, the available evidence points to an ancient and technologically advanced civilization that predates recorded history. Russia faces significant corruption, affecting various sectors, including science. Due to limited access to research grants and funding, many scientists struggle to explore ancient structures like those in Gornaya Shoria. This lack of resources fuels uncertainty about whether these megalithic formations are man-made or natural. The inability to thoroughly investigate raises intriguing questions about their true origins and whether they represent a lost civilization or unique geological features. EMMY AWARDS ROUNDUP: ‘Childless Cat Lady Jokes’ and Identity Politics Overload

Celebrities participating in the 76th annual Emmy Awards on Sunday on ABC surprisingly steered clear of presidential politics this election season, despite a couple of jabs directed at vice-presidential candidate JD Vance and his past ‘childless cat lady' remarks that were taken out of context and overblown by the left.  Within the first 10 minutes of the show, singer and actress Selena Gomez took a veiled swipe at Vance while directing a joke at her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, calling them “childless cat ladies.”     Martin Short: And Steve, let me just say what an honor it is for me to be working with someone who looks like he's fallen and can't get up. Steve Martin: And let me say what an honor it is for me to be working with someone who looks like a former women's tennis champion. Selena Gomez: And let me say what an honor it is work with two guys who are this far away from being ‘childless cat ladies.’ Actress Candice Bergen also got her claws out, going after Vance with another cat lady jab while presenting the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series:     Candice Bergen: I was surrounded by brilliant and funny actors, had the best scripts to work with and in one classic moment, my character was attacked by Vice President Dan Quayle when Murphy became pregnant and decided to raise the baby as a single mother. Oh how far we’ve come. Today, a Republican candidate for vice president would never attack a woman for having kids. So as they say, my work here is done. Meow! Aside from the cat lady jokes, there was no mention of the presidential candidates or even the current sitting president, Joe Biden, which is rather surprising considering how politically vocal celebrities were during the former President Donald Trump's administration. While the speakers were mum on presidential politics, they weren’t mum on identity politics, as it was center stage throughout the 3-hour show. Actor John Leguizamo attempted to take a dig at Republicans, who take issue with forced ‘DEI’ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) initiatives, by sarcastically saying he was a Hollywood ‘DEI’ hire. Leguizamo, who was born in Columbia, then went on a rant about the historic lack of diversity in Hollywood and the stereotypical roles assigned to Latino actors. While the actor celebrated progress related to the matter, he still called for Hollywood to do more to tell the stories of ‘excluded groups’:   John leguizamo: Hi, I'm John leguizamo. I'm one of Hollywood's DEI hires. That's right, DEI. The D is for diligence. The E is for excellence. The I is for imagination. Everyone in this room tonight has dedicated their lives to diligence, excellence, and imagination. And we are all DEI hires. What a beautiful and diverse room this is tonight. When I was growing up in Jackson heights, queens, a scrawny little wannabe gangster, you're not from queens, don't lie, I didn't even know that people like me could be actors. At fifteen, I didn't know the word representation. Actually, there were lots of words I didn't know back then. But I saw a lot of brown face. I saw Marlon Brando play Emiliano Zapata in "Viva Zapata," and Al Pacino play Cuban gangster Tony Montana, and Natalie wood play a Puerto Rican beauty named -- ♪ Maria ♪ everybody played us except us. I didn't see a lot of people on TV who looked like me. Of course, there was Ricky Ricardo. "Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do." I know some of you remember the Looney Tunes cartoon mouse and his lethargic, useless sidekick, Speedy Gonzales, "The fastest mouse in all Mexico," and his lethargic, useless sidekick Slowpoke Rodriguez. "Sorry, Senior Pussycat. I can't play with you no more. It's time for my siesta." That's how we saw ourselves, because that's all we saw of ourselves. Someone should alert Leguizamo that it’s not 'racist' Republicans calling the shots when it comes to script writing and role casting in Liberal Hollywood. Just sayin'.  Speaking of casting, Nava Mau apparently made Hollywood history by being the first Latina Trans nominee for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for a role played in Baby Reindeer. Mau didn't actually win the category, but received significant praise and recognition from liberal media.    Baby Reindeer's Nava Mau shares a powerful message for transgender representation at the #Emmys. ? pic.twitter.com/sWHWw2tD5W — E! Trump's suspected would-be assassin in 2002 wielded fully automatic machine gun in 3-hour standoff with police: Report

Ryan Routh — the suspect in Sunday's apparent assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump in Florida, the second in two months — in 2002 wielded a fully automatic machine gun amid a three-hour standoff with police in North Carolina, according to a report from the Greensboro News & Record. The paper's story focused on federal agencies — including the Secret Service and Homeland Security — that arrived Sunday night at a Greensboro address associated with Routh, who is 58 years old. The News & Record said officers departed the residence at 2106 Hiatt St. after spending a few minutes there, adding that it wasn't clear if they took anything from the home. The News & Record also said in its Sunday piece that 'Routh has had multiple encounters with law enforcement dating back to 1998 with about 100 arrests, according to a LexisNexis search of his name.'Much further into the report was a link to a brief News & Record story dated Dec. 16, 2002, which the paper's Sunday story said involved Routh. The 2002 story says "an armed man was arrested Monday morning after barricading himself in a business during a three-hour standoff, police said. Ryan Routh, 36, was arrested without incident at 1 a.m. Monday at United Roofing, 1735 W. Lee St., Greensboro police said."The story goes on to say that "Routh was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon of mass destruction, referring to a fully automatic machine gun. He was also charged with resisting, delaying and obstructing a law enforcement officer and driving while license revoked."The 2002 incident commenced after police pulled over Routh three hours prior, after which he "put his hand on a firearm and drove to United Roofing," the paper's story says. Sunday's News & Record article said Routh worked at United Roofing at the time. It isn't clear what happened to Routh after his 2002 arrest. The News & Record also said in its Sunday piece that "Routh has had multiple encounters with law enforcement dating back to 1998 with about 100 arrests, according to a LexisNexis search of his name." The paper's Sunday story added that "tax problems have also followed Routh, who racked up 14 judgements and liens, according to LexisNexis."Apparent assassination attempt against TrumpIn reference to Sunday's apparent assassination attempt against Trump in West Palm Beach, the News & Record said Routh attached a GoPro camera to a fence through which he allegedly threaded the muzzle of his rifle prior to fleeing Trump International Golf Course. An AK-47 reportedly was recovered. The paper, citing Martin County Sheriff William D. Snyder, said the suspect was apprehended along Interstate 95 within minutes of the FBI, Secret Service, and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office putting out a “very urgent" be-on-the-lookout alert that detailed the "specific vehicle sought, license plate number, and description of the occupant, according to the Associated Press."“One of my road patrol units saw the vehicle, matched the tag, and we set up on the vehicle,” Snyder said, according to the News & Record. “We pinched in on the car, got it safely stopped and got the driver in custody.”The paper said Snyder added to WPTV-TV that the suspect "was not armed when we took him out of the car." The News & Record, citing Snyder, said the suspect displayed a calm, flat demeanor with little emotion and didn't question why he was being pulled over.“He never asked, ‘what is this about?’ Obviously, law enforcement with long rifles, blue lights, a lot going on. He never questioned it,” Snyder told the AP, according to the News & Record.Ukraine connectionThe News & Record also cited a Facebook post dated Dec. 23, 2023, in which Routh "portrays himself as something of an agent for soldiers for hire who are willing to fight in Ukraine, touting his connection to foreign soldiers" and that he said he "fought for Ukraine for several months in 2022."More from the paper:'I have thousands of Afghan soldiers that wish to serve for the Haiti national police at cheap wages. 1000 with passports ready to fly.' Then a final plea: 'Please help me' after a phone number listing in the post. Routh has not disclosed to authorities his motive for allegedly attempting to kill Trump. The former president has publicly stated he would not support the war in Ukraine if elected in 2024.The News & Record also pointed out that the New York Times interviewed Routh in 2023 for a story about "volunteer soldiers from the U.S. and other countries who had traveled to Ukraine to help the beleaguered country fight Russia."More from the paper:He told the Times he was 'seeking recruits from among Afghan solders who fled the Taliban' to fight alongside members of the International Legion, a volunteer group Ukraine created for expat soldiers.Routh told the Times he was supporting the Legion in response to waning membership. He further told the Times that 'dozens' of soldiers had responded to his recruiting efforts and that he had plans to move such soldiers from Pakistan and Iran to Ukraine. Such moves could be illegal in some scenarios, Routh told the Times for the story published March 23, 2023.The Times article highlighted the fact that through the International Legion, volunteers who didn't necessarily have any military training, had access to a vast array of weapons. The Times on Sunday went on to note that Routh, who appears to have lived in Hawaii in recent years, in a 2020 Facebook post invited North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to vacation in Hawaii and allow him to play host so the pair could hash out a peace accord between North Korea and the U.S.Anything else? The News & Record said Routh lived most of his life in Guilford County, North Carolina, where Greensboro is located, and that he's registered to vote at the Hiatt Street address where federal authorities arrived Sunday night. The paper, citing records, added that Routh was an unaffiliated voter who most recently voted in the Democratic primary in March.Like Blaze News? Cowardly or spot on? Patrick Mahomes and Caitlin Clark address Trump and Kamala controversies

Although they shouldn’t, celebrity endorsements hold a lot of weight for many people. When Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris as we expected she would, certainly it solidified the future votes of a great number of her followers. While Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has yet to formally endorse a candidate, we can assume his endorsement is coming soon, and it will almost certainly be another win for the Democratic Party. Two other professional athletes who have hinted at their political leanings are Indiana Fever point guard Caitlin Clark and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Both athletes have been asked point blank who they will be supporting in the upcoming election, and according to Jason Whitlock, their answers were “appropriate, interesting reactions.” - YouTube www.youtube.com “I've always said I don't want, I don't want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate. ... I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote, is to inform people to do their own research and then make their best decision for them and their family,” Mahomes said, adding that “every time I'm on this stage and I get asked these questions, I'm going refer back to that because I think that's what makes America so great.” In reference to Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, liking some of Donald Trump’s tweets, another reporter then asked: “Do you have a thought about specifically about the idea of President Trump bringing up Brittany’s name? Does that affect you one way or another?” Mahomes again refused to get explicitly political. “At the end of the day, it's about about me and my family and how we treat other people. ... Brittany does a lot in the community; I do a lot in the community to help bring people up and give people other opportunities to use their voice, and so in the political times, people are going to use stuff here and there, but I can't let that affect how I go about my business every single day and live my life.” Jason calls Mahomes’ response a “home run.” He also respected Caitlin Clark’s response when USA Today’s Christine Brennan asked her about liking Taylor Swift’s Instagram post endorsing Kamala Harris. “I have this amazing platform, so I think the biggest thing would be just encourage people to register to vote. I think for myself, this is the second time I can vote in an election at age 22. I could vote when I was 18, so I think do that. That’s the biggest thing I can do with the platform that I have, and that's the same thing Taylor did, and I think continue to educate yourself with the candidates that we have, the policies that they're supporting. I think that's the biggest thing you can do, and that's what I would recommend to every single person that has that opportunity in our country,” was Clark’s response. Steve Kim thinks Clark’s answer is going to upset a lot of people, however. Certain people are “going to be very angry now at Caitlin for not giving a full-blown pledge to campaign and to vote for the Democratic Party,” he tells Jason.
