We don't know what teams we will see play in Super Bowl 59 just yet, but we do know that Post Malone will be playing a concert as a part of the festivities. I'm instead talking about the intimate Bud Light Backyard concert that the beer brand has put on in recent years. The hip-hop artist who dipped into country music with his 2024 album F1 Trillion is set to play the free-to-attend concert. "Bud Light Backyard Presents Post Malone" will take place at the The Fillmore venue in New Orleans on February 7 - the Friday before Super Bowl Sunday. The capacity for the historic Fillmore is right around 2,000 fans, thus making for quite the memorable concert for those that are able to get tickets to see Post Malone in such a small venue (he's set to go on his first ever stadium tour later in 2025). At the Super Bowl back in February, the Las Vegas version of the Bud Light Backyard concert series featured country music star Zach Bryan and R&B singer Leon Bridges. Post Malone is the only artist listed for the upcoming Bud Light concert, but other artists could always be added or surprise music fans with their appearance at the show. That wouldn't be that far-fetched considering all of the features that Post Malone included in his F1 Trillion album. Plus, when Posty played another Bud Light sponsored concert - "A Night In Nashville" - back in July, he was joined by the likes of Sierra Ferrell, Blake Shelton, and HARDY during the short performance. Considering Bud Light is the official beer of the NFL, and Post Malone is a brand partner for the brew, this collaboration makes a lot of sense. And playing at The Fillmore should create a unique atmosphere for those that are able to attend the show. The concert is for those aged 21 and up, and fans must win tickets through a sweepstakes that can be activated (or at the very least, learn more about how to obtain tickets) by direct messaging or commenting #PostyBLBackyard and #Sweepstakes on Bud Light social media posts. Bud Light has leaned on Post Malone to help bring them back to the popular beer brand they once were. As I mentioned earlier, the "I Had Some Help" singer has played multiple concerts that are affiliated with Bud Light, and the pop star/country music star was also included in a Bud Light commercial during last year's Super Bowl.
