from SGT Report: Nathan Reynolds is back for Part 2 of our discussion about the Pentagon’s secret armies and the questions surrounding Michael Flynn’s ties to General McCrystal. Nathan presents evidence that suggests Flynn may have closer ties to the Knights of Malta and darker things than he may have to our Christian values. You […]

From Agrarianism to Transhumanism: The Long March to Dystopia

by Matt Agorist, The Free Thought Project: (Off-Guardian) We are currently seeing an acceleration of the corporate consolidation of the entire global agri-food chain. The big data conglomerates, including Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook and Google, have joined traditional agribusiness giants, such as Corteva, Bayer, Cargill and Syngenta, in a quest to impose their model of food and agriculture […]

Let Russia compete in the next Olympics

by Ian Proud, Strategic Culture: I applaud the French Government on its delivery of a fabulous Olympiad in Paris. I have but one criticism. In 2021, the Olympic motto “faster, higher, stronger” was changed with the addition of one word – “together”. Excluding Russia from Paris 2024 eroded the sense of togetherness. It also breached […]

Machete-Wielding Thug Trying to Break Into Texas House Receives an Unwelcome Surprise When Homeowner Decides to Exercise His 2nd Amendment Rights (VIDEO)

by Cullen Linebarger, The Gateway Pundit: The slogan “Don’t Mess with Texas” often refers to the state’s anti-littering program, but it should be more often applied to patriotic residents who spare no expense to defend their homes and families. Earlier this week in Liberty Hill, a city 35 miles north of Austin, home camera footage captured the moment a […]

The Wildly Unpopular EU Commission is Trying to Impose Gender Quotas. Here’s How It’s Going…

by Christopher Tomlinson, The National Pulse: Globalist and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is demanding gender equity from nations selecting their candidates for coveted positions within the European Union’s executive branch. However, member states are largely ignoring von der Leyen’s request. Each European Union (EU) member state is granted one candidate for a role at the Commission, […]

No Win in Comparison – Encouragement for Today – August 26, 2024

August 26, 2024 No Win in ComparisonALLIE STANLEY COONEY Lee en español "And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus ..." Hebrews 12:1b-2a (NIV)  The first time I remember comparing myself to someone else was in the sixth grade. On my very first history quiz, I got a 10/100. When my "friend" leaned over and saw my unfortunate grade, she informed me that I was an idiot. In that moment, I fell headlong into the trap of comparison. For quite a while, these stinging thoughts echoed through my middle-schooler brain: She's smart. You're dumb. She's better. You're worse. I was playing the comparison game and losing. I wish I could tell you it stopped there. But sadly, that was only the beginning of my comparison journey. If you've lived life for longer than five seconds, I'm sure you've found yourself playing the comparison game too. Sometimes you find yourself feeling superior, and other times you find yourself envious. Either way, there is no win in comparison. So what do we do? The author of Hebrews writes: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus ..." (Hebrews 12:1-2a, NIV). This paints a picture in my head of a running track. Every person in the world has an individualized track planned for them by God. Each person has a specific track and a specific race they are meant to run. Yours is special and unique to you. God made you exactly how you are so you could run the race He set just for you. That's why you don't need to compare your race, speed, purpose, talents, looks or family with someone else’s. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus and run the race He has for you. The author of Hebrews tells us how to run our race most successfully: by throwing off the things that are slowing us down. Comparison is a huge hindrance, so let’s throw it away - and get back to running our race more easily and effectively. How do we do this? Here are two ways: Celebrate what God has given others. Even when you don't feel like it, even when they get the thing you want, and even if their win feels like a loss for you ... make the conscious choice to celebrate the people who are succeeding around you. Leverage what God has given you. Instead of allowing your success to lure you into feeling superior to others, choose to use what you have to help the people around you. As you do these two things, fix your eyes on Jesus. Remember what He did for you, and rejoice in the race He has set for you. There is no better way to break out of the comparison game! Dear Father, thank You for creating us individually, each with a purpose and a plan. Help us not to compare ourselves to one another but to run our races by fixing our eyes on You. In Jesus' Name, Amen. A Prayer for Strength in Moments of Weakness – Your Daily Prayer – August 26

A Prayer for Strength in Moments of WeaknessBy Keri Eichberger "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." – Philippians 4:19 Sometimes, I panic under pressure. Like a recent incident when my mom, brother, husband (Mike), and I were caravanning my dad from a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina, directly to an inpatient rehabilitation facility nine hours Northeast back home to Louisville, Kentucky. Dad was two weeks into a long road to recovery after suffering a life-altering stroke. A few short hours before we reached our destination, as Dad was seeming to struggle a bit, Mom decided we should stop, reposition him, and make sure all was good. My emotions and anxieties had already been compounding to a record high, so when we pulled into the closest gas station, I quickly escaped solo straight to the bathroom. Praying for a large serving of God's permeating peace so I could return to maybe help and calm the situation. I wanted so badly for Dad to be better. I wanted assurance everything was going to be okay. But, sometimes, I panic under pressure. And in this moment I felt my weakness swell and persist. An all too familiar feeling. I prayed for God’s strength. Desperate for his strong hands and heart. But it seemed like only weakness remained. Do you feel weak, or remember when you recently did? And do you get anxious when chaotic moments are present? I'm pretty sure we all do. Maybe you're weighed down by weariness right now. Or feel your fight and fortitude to endure your current circumstances are next to nonexistent. The Bible tells us God's power and strength are made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9). I believe it. I've seen it, and saw it that day. At the gas station in who-knows-where-Kentucky, I waited for God's power to show up within my weakening soul. But it didn't quite happen the way I was looking for. And I hope this can be an encouragement to you today, too. God showed up. Within the very minute we pulled up to a gas pump, so did an ambulance at the one beside us. Our gracious God also gifted my husband the strength, awareness, and boldness to approach the EMT, share our story, and request assistance. The EMS angels, as we now refer to them, reported good vitals and offered us the assurance and peace we needed to finish the remaining drive to get Dad to the local hospital safely. Thank you, Jesus. If I hadn't kept my eyes on the Lord, I may have missed how his divine strength was delivered. How he showed up, answered my prayer, and provided perfect strength. Though not specifically through strengthening my own will and way, but through that of another, to then bolster my soul and spirit with his sufficient peace.  Friends, when we look to him in our weakness, he certainly does show up. He may not necessarily resolve your own personal weakness by empowering you with strength in the way you are hoping, though he might. But, many times it will be through the aid of another of his children (one of their gifts, their talents, their abilities, or calls for help). And his blessing of strength may not feel extravagant or as supernatural as an ambulance approaching seemingly out of nowhere when needed. In fact, sometimes, his blessings are small and subtle. But nonetheless, just as powerful. I pray today that you will be on the lookout for how he is offering you blessings of strength. I pray that in whatever way you feel weakness right now, you can be confident he hears every cry for help. He hears every request for strength. And he supplies every need according to the riches of his glory. (Philippians 4:19) Let's pray: Mighty God, Your strength is sufficient for all that I need. And you know I need so, so much. You know every weakness I am weathering now and all my moments to come. Lord, I want desperately to be refreshed and renewed with your strength and power so that I can personally handle the hard things in my life I am walking through. But sometimes that isn't your plan. Sometimes, your strength comes from others. Or in forms I least expect. Like a surprise encouragement, gift, beautiful blessings, or scenes surrounding me. Help me to keep leaning on you in my weak moments. Help me to keep lifting my eyes to you over and over. And help me to see you. God, you are my strength. You supply all that I need. You have carried me here, and I know you will not stop. You will not fail. I praise you for that. In your Son's strong name, Amen.
