Kennedy’s remarks came after he announced earlier in the day that he was suspending his campaign and being removed from the ballot in swing states because he did not want to help Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris by staying in the race. He said that he got a call from Trump on the night that Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a would-be assassin. “We had a very good talk, and then he invited me to come see him the next day, and I went to Minneapolis and saw him,” he said. “We met again a couple of weeks later in Florida, and we talked not about the things that separate us because we don’t agree on everything, but on the values and the issues that bind us together. And one of the issues that he talked about was having safe food and ending the chronic disease epidemic.” “Our children are now the unhealthiest, sickest children in the world,” he continued. “Don’t you want healthy children?
