Reports of unidentified flying objects in the northeast U.S. are on the rise, but so far officials have few answers for alarmed residents.

Emma Hamilton Lazen was only 9 when she played the adorable Ruby Sue Johnson on National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. She spent a few more years acting after the holiday classic and then left the spotlight for more than three decades. Emma recently showed up at a meet-and-greet in New Jersey, and she looked unrecognizable as she interacted with fans who queued up to talk to her. She still had her long brown hair, which she styled in a side part with half-bangs for the event. Being a youngster who had to go to school, she left for boarding school in Vermont, and that meant the end of her show business career. Emma did not intend to leave the acting industry; however, after four years of focusing solely on her education, getting back behind the cameras grew difficult. Last year, Emma started a blog called Road to Momma, documenting her pregnancy journey. Fans were glad to see Emma at the New Jersey event, where she showed up in a wine-colored pattern gown and minimalist accessories. Social media users were shocked by her transformation, which they could not resist commenting about. “Dammmmm Ruby Sue got the heavies,” someone gushed, while another joked that she was no longer cross-eyed.
