Pour over crescent rolls and bake another 12 to 18 minutes. Variations Use vanilla extract instead of almond. Use walnuts or pecans in place of almonds. Add 1/3 cup of toffee bits. Recipe Tip The top of the casserole might start to get too brown before the center is done. If this is the case, cover with foil. It will prevent any more browning.
