United Airlines and Delta are canceling flights to Israel amid growing tensions in the Middle East after Israel killed two top terrorist leaders this week in separate strikes. “Beginning with this evening’s flight from Newark Liberty to Tel Aviv, we are suspending for security reasons our daily Tel Aviv service as we evaluate our next steps,” a United spokesperson said in a statement on Wednesday. “We continue to closely monitor the situation and will make decisions on resuming service with a focus on the safety of our customers and crews.” Delta Air Lines said that it is canceling flights from New York to Tel Aviv through at least Friday in light of recent events. “Delta flights betweenNew York-JFK and Tel Aviv will be paused through Friday, Aug. 2, due to ongoing conflict in the region. Sales of flights for DL234 on Jul. 31 and Aug. 1, and DL235 on Aug. 1 and Aug. 2. are suspended,” Delta Air Lines said in a statement. “Customers impacted by the schedule change will receive notifications via the Fly Delta app and contact information listed in their reservation.” The statements come after Ismail Haniyeh, the top leader of Hamas, was killed in a Tuesday night strike inside of Iran that Israel is believed to be behind. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Haniyeh’s death comes after Hamas, an Iranian-backed terrorist group, launched an unprecedented terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, which resulted in more than 1,200 people being murdered. Haniyeh celebrated his organization’s terrorist attack against Israel on and publicly called for more attacks. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reportedly ordered a direct strike on Israel in retaliation for Haniyeh’s death. Earlier in the day on Tuesday, Israel killed Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah’s “most senior military commander and the head of its Strategic Unit,” according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Shukr was Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah’s “right-hand man” and was his “adviser for planning and directing wartime operations.”

Former CNN host Don Lemon hosted Sunday night’s #WinWithBlackMen discussion, coming out with full-throated support for Vice President Kamala Harris’s Democratic campaign. Towards the end of the meeting, he launched into a monologue staunchly defending the vice president and attacking those who dared to hold a different opinion, particularly those who don’t look like him.  Lemon first celebrated his independence from the “corporate overlords,” overjoyed that he could “stand up for democracy [and] say who I’m supporting,” which was especially ironic since he made no pretense of impartiality while at CNN. He further affirmed that he was “on the side of someone who’s gonna help our people,” claiming that the two campaigns weren’t “at an equal level, because that’s not what it is.” Lemon then railed against the media for their “over-indexed” coverage of former President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. (@BrentHBaker) July 30, 2024   However, where Manchin’s denunciation arose from a desire for unity, Lemon (unsurprisingly) displayed his craving for greater division, demanding the media spotlight be shifted from Trump to black people who would “decide this election.” Lemon also claimed that “the worst things that I hear about Kamala Harris comes from white men–straight white men,” falling right in line behind liberals like MSNBC’s race-obsessed Joy Reid, MSNBC host Michael Steele, and activist Roland Martin (one of the meeting participants), who immediately vilify the white men who dislike the vice president.  “They can't really explain why they don't like her, they just know that they don't like her and they, you know, send out the worst memes about her, say the worst shit about her,” Lemon blustered before bragging that “when they do that, l confront them to their faces.”  Lemon instructed the other participants to “confront them to their faces, you gotta ask them why and then tell them the truth about her record” and reminded them that they “had a first lady, in the White House, who came from questionable means and who, you know, is a model and naked,” referring to former First Lady Melania Trump. “I don’t see Kamala Harris doing any shit like that,” he added. Numerous sources, like The Federalist’s Mark Hemingway, would suggest otherwise, pointing to Harris’s affair with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown which launched her political career.  Lemon had a bad track record when it came to defending Democrats and their impropriety (to put it gently). For example, back in 2015, he angrily cut off conservative Kurt Schlichter’s microphone when he called former President Bill Clinton a “serial sexual abuser.” And his track record on race wasn’t much better; in 2018 he suggested the “biggest terror threat is white men” who were “radicalized to the right.” This instance should have been little cause for surprise, as the 2024 presidential race continues to be overshadowed by the liberal media’s bias and hypocrisy. Yet, voters must remain on guard against attacks by the left and the media's increased efforts to censor the undesirable truth. The transcript is below. And when they do that, l confront them to their faces.  So you gotta confront them to their faces, you gotta ask them why and then tell them the truth about her record. Who would have thought Donald Trump would accept a tough gig at the National Association of Black Journalists convention, and Kamala Harris would not? Trump was hounded with vicious questions and yet the NABJ is erupting internally because Team Harris just couldn’t find any time for journalists, and Trump said sure, I’ll take you on. My overwhelming sense here is there is Kamala Harris will never face hostile questions like this. There is no way she would ever be asked questions as rude as Trump received at an NABJ conference. She's never going to accept an interview request from Fox or Newsmax or God forbid, conservative radio stars. The double standard is blatant and unforgettable. ABC congressional correspondent Rachel Scott began the questioning fiercely: A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today. You have pushed false claims about some of your rivals from Nikki Haley to former President Barack Obama, saying that they were not born in the United States, which is not true. You have told four congresswoman of color who were American citizens to go back to where they came from. You have used words like animal and rabbit to describe black attorneys. You've attacked black journalists, calling them a losers, saying the questions that they asked are, “stupid and racist.” You've had dinner with a white supremacist at your Mar-a-Lago resort. So my question, sir, now that you were asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that? The journalists also pressed Trump about J.D. Vance's comments about cat ladies, about abortion, and about promises to pardon some January 6 protesters. None of that was surprising. It's like any other liberal-media interview list.  A number of black journalists acted offended that Trump should be offered this "platform," or be "normalized." Did you know Louis Farrakhan was invited to speak to this group in 1996? Credit goes to Symone Sanders-Townsend, who sensibly stated “NABJ didn’t platform Trump. The voters in the Republican primary did....Just like anyone else who is running for President, he should sit for serious interviews and answer real questions.” And he did, and he gets no credit for it.  Since the 2020 campaign, we have witnessed the bizarre spectacle of Donald Trump granting wide access to networks that suggest he's a fascist and racist and hammer him daily, while Biden and Harris won't grant interviews to media outlets that gurgle all over them and their "historic accomplishments." Either they think the press can never be servile enough or they are projecting a complete lack of confidence in their efforts to put complete sentences together.
