The wife of director John Frankenheimer, she was known for playing a kidnapping victim in ‘Bonnie and Clyde.’   On June 16, Evans Evans passed away. News of her passing came from a public obituary, which shared only that she had died, without elaborating on additional details or history. Active throughout the ’60s to the ’90s, she was a film actress who famously played a kidnap victim, Velma Davis, in 1967’s Bonnie and Clyde. In 1963, she married drama and suspense director John Frankenheimer and they stayed together until his death in 2002.
