In addition to using a text prompt to generate audio, DeepMind’s tool also takes into account the contents of the video. By combining the two, DeepMind says users can use the tool to create scenes with “a drama score, realistic sound effects or dialogue that matches the characters and tone of a video.” You can see some of the examples posted on DeepMind’s website — and they sound pretty good. For a video of a car driving through a cyberpunk-esque cityscape, Google used the prompt “cars skidding, car engine throttling, angelic electronic music” to generate audio. 63-year-old Julia Louis-Dreyfus rose to fame as a comedian on Saturday Night Live. She has both watched the cultural landscape surrounding comedy transform in real time over the decades and been a part of its evolution. Discussing the recent uptick in political correctness and awareness, Julia has offered a middle-ground perspective that acknowledges where these cautious sentiments have come from. In addition to a three-year stint on SNL, Julia is also known for playing Elaine Benes on Seinfeld from 1990 to 1998. Her television work continued through The New Adventures of Old Christine and Veep. Kerri Kasem will be in Norway to pay her respects to Casey Kasem ten years after his death from sepsis. The multi-talented DJ, radio presenter, and voice-over actor was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, and his wife, Jean Thompson, prevented his friends, family, and children from seeing him as his health worsened. He eventually died at 82 amid legal battles between his widow and his children, who sued for wrongful death; however, evidence held nothing against Jean, and the case was settled in 2019. Kerri recalled that Casey passed away on Father’s Day and World Elder Abuse Day, making it an even more heartbreaking incident. Kerri went into more detail about the circumstances surrounding her father’s death via her Audible podcast named Bitter Blood. She accused Kerri of dumping Casey in the hospital to avoid being responsible for him and moving him around to cut off access to friends and family. She added that Kerri is only driven by money and attention, which is why she is publicly defaming her. The 51-year-old claimed her stepmother was verbally abusive to Casey even before his illness; however, he refused to leave her in hopes that she would improve. Kerri said Jean was pretentious before the wedding and would often act nice and generous until after the union when she began maltreating her father.
