Hillary Clinton Torched For Pushing ‘She Was Right’ Merch After Trump Verdict

Hillary Clinton got torched online after she reacted to former President Donald Trump’s guilty verdict by pushing “She was Right” merchandise on her social media account. In a Thursday post on Instagram, the former Democratic presidential nominee reacted to news that a New York jury returned a guilty verdict on all 34 counts against Trump in the hush-money trial by posting new merchandise, a coffee mug with the saying, “Turns out she was right about everything.” “We recently had some new merch made based on a phrase I hear a lot,” Clinton wrote. “The design happened to be finalized today. With your purchase, you’ll support Onward Together groups defending democracy … and get a pretty great mug to sip tea from. Link to purchase in my profile.” Not all of Clinton’s followers agreed with her pushing merch after the verdict and let the former first lady know in the comments. “You should be in jail,” one person wrote.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Hillary Clinton (@hillaryclinton) Another person added, “Why didn’t you warn you husband Bubba Clinton about spending time with Jeffrey Epstein, if you were right about everything?” A third person wrote, “Turns out we were wrong about everything we believed you stood for. Warmonger. Genocidist! If I donated a penny, I would be owed change.” One person brought up Clinton’s disastrous foreign policy decision in Libya as the Secretary of State under former President Barack Obama, which resulted in the terrorist attacks in 2012 in Benghazi that killed U.S.  Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and four other people. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “Except Libya,” the person wrote. The guilty verdict in Trump’s New York trial marks the first time a former U.S. president has been convicted of a crime, as previously reported. At the heart of the case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg were 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal damaging information around the 2016 election as part of a “catch-and-kill” scheme. Prosecutors accused Trump of improperly masking reimbursements to repay his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, for a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence on an alleged extramarital affair by classifying them as legal expenses. Trump has denied that the affair with Stormy Daniels ever happened and pleaded not guilty to the charges. His lawyers argued there was no intent to defraud or influence the 2016 election. ‘We Are In Trouble’: Country Star Says We Are In ‘Scary Times’ Following Trump Guilty Verdict

Country star Jason Aldean said we are living in “scary times” following news that a New York jury found former President Donald Trump guilty. In a post on Thursday on Instagram, the 47-year-old country singer posted an image of an inverted U.S flag [a symbol of dire distress] on his social media after a jury returned a guilty verdict on all 34 counts against Trump in the hush-money trial. “Scary times in our country right now, man,” Aldean’s post read. “When a former POTUS gets treated like this by our justice system, what does that mean for the rest of us???” “If there was ever a time to speak up, IT’S NOW!” he added. “Make no mistake…. We are in trouble.”   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Jason Aldean (@jasonaldean) Aldean’s post followed similar comments from other celebrities like Megyn Kelly, Piers Morgan, and more warning about the dangers of the guilty verdict. Megyn Kelly wrote on X, “Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they unleashed this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election.” Talk show host Piers Morgan wrote, “This is a sad, shameful and ridiculous day for America. To drag a former President, who is running for President again, through criminal courts over something so trivial feels a massive overreach & an incredibly divisive and obviously politically partisan action.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP The guilty verdict in Trump’s New York trial marks the first time a former U.S. president has been convicted of a crime, as previously reported. INTERVIEW: Nikki Haley Says Palestinians Must Separate From Hamas For Any Chance Of Peace

SDEROT, ISRAEL — Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley called for Gazan Palestinians to “separate themselves” from the terror organization that governs them in an interview with The Daily Wire after touring several sites where Hamas massacred civilians on October 7.  “It’s not that we don’t want good for the Palestinians, but the Palestinians have to separate themselves from Hamas because they’ve been indoctrinated themselves,” Haley said. “What we’ve seen is an entire generation that thinks their job is to murder the Jewish people and we can’t let that happen.” “It wasn’t just Hamas that did this,” Haley said while standing at the site of the former Sderot police station, which was destroyed after being taken over by terrorists. “Thousands of Palestinian citizens came in and participated in the robbing and murdering of these people.” There have been reports that Palestinian civilians, children, and U.N. employees took part in the attack after Hamas breached the Israel-Gaza fence. Haley’s comments came just after she finished touring Kibbutz Nir Oz where 25% of the 380 residents were either taken hostage or murdered, the site of the Nova massacre, a military base near the Gaza border where female soldiers were taken hostage and killed. Her former counterpart in the U.N. who is now a member of Knesset, Danny Danon, accompanied her on her tour. WATCH: Nikki Haley Tours Scenes Of Hamas Terror Attack, Says Hamas Must Go Haley also called for American universities to stop accepting “Arab money.” “We should not be taking Arab money into any of our universities, we should not be taking any foreign money into our universities,” Haley said, while standing at the site of the former Sderot police station, which was destroyed after being taken over by Hamas terrorists. Haley criticized colleges and called for revocation of tax-exempt status at academic institutions where antisemitic threats against Jewish students are not successfully being addressed. “You can look at what’s happening on American campuses: those kids are not safe,” Haley said. “That is not a situation I want my kids in. I wouldn’t want anybody’s kids in and those colleges owe it to the kids there and to the future students.  “One thing is free speech, but threats and intimidation, that’s very different,” she added. U.S. colleges and universities receive about $55 billion from foreign sources, with one-fourth ($13.1 billion) coming from Arab individuals, institutions, and governments, according to a May 2024 study by the American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise. The biggest foreign donor to U.S. universities is Qatar, a country with close-ties to Iran and the home to Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.  Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman pointed out that foreign governments are not allowed to own radio and TV stations, yet fund our universities.  “Why then do we allow foreign governments to give money to our universities, funds that are used to set up Middle Eastern, Asian studies and other programs which can be designed to fit the desired narratives of the donors,” Ackman tweeted. “Notably, these foreign governments concentrate their ‘gifts’ to our most elite institutions where they can influence our next generation of leaders — judges, politicians, members of the media and more.” The aftermath of Hamas’s massacre of Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel. (Photo: Kassy Akiva/The Daily Wire) Haley said she is in disbelief by rhetoric coming from college students and activists that denies or downplays the severity of Hamas’ attack on Israeli civilians. “You can’t pretend this didn’t happen,” Haley said. “Everywhere you go, someone knows someone who was murdered. Everywhere you go, you see where cars were burned, where people were brutalized, police officers here in this town were killed.” Haley said Americans should sympathize by reflecting on how they felt after September 11, 2001. “We were in shock, then we went through great sadness and then we went through anger of making sure it never happened again,” Haley said. “Just imagine if we had gone through all of that and then people told us it didn’t happen [or] it was America’s fault.” “It’s like stabbing someone in the back after they’ve already been shot,” she added. “We need to be with them. We need to stand with them. We need to believe them.” Nikki Haley hugging survivor Tali Biner after touring the Nova massacre site. (Photo: Kassy Akiva/The Daily Wire) Haley said her time touring the Nova site with survivor Tali Biner made her think of her own daughter who is also a nurse in her 20s. “We talked to a survivor, who talked about what she heard, what she saw, how she hid, how so many people hid under dead bodies,” Haley said. “The fact that she heard so many women mutilated and raped and even men. I mean, it’s so much that happened.” “That wasn’t easy for her to tell me her story of what she heard, what she saw and what she experienced,” Haley added. “She’s doing that because nobody believes her. It’s a horrible thing to do to a victim, and it’s victimizing them all over again.” Haley also visited the post with a photo of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, one of eight hostages held captive in Gaza. Nikki Haley visiting the memorial of American hostage in Gaza Hersh Goldberg-Polin at the Nova massacre site. (Photo: Kassy Akiva/The Daily Wire) Last week former president Donald Trump said Haley would  “absolutely” be on his “team in some form” going forward after she pledged to vote for him. In a press conference after her tour, Haley said she doesn’t take the intense rhetoric used by the campaigns personally.  “I’ve always been able to take the emotion and the personal part out of politics because that is the only way you can do the right thing,” Haley said. “This is about America. It’s about a strong America, it’s about a strong Israel. It’s about having the backs of our friends.”

Wuthering Waves Lampylumen Ore locations and farming route

If there is a place you can get lost in Wuthering Waves that is the cave system in Tiger’s Maw Mine. Here is where to find Lampylumen Ore and where to farm it in Wuthering Waves. Where to find Lampylumen Ore in Wuthering Waves Lampylumen Ore is one of the many ores similar to Scarletthorn or Fragipurple you can use to get weapons in Wuthering Waves. Contrary to other ores that can be used at the Crafting Table in Jinzhou, Lampylumen is used as an exchange ore with Shilang in Tiger’s Maw Mine after you complete the Tiger’s Maw exploration quest – these quests are long, just look at We Promise, We Deliver. Thankfully, all the Lampylumen you will ever need is close to the Tiger’s Maw Mine, but the catch is that there are multiple caves around the area with some secluded entrances. Let’s take a look at them. Tiger’s Maw Mine farming route Screenshot: PC Invasion The very first location you should explore to find some Lampylumen Ore i...

How to get 100% guaranteed boss Echo drops in Wuthering Waves

Farming boss Echoes in Wuthering Waves can be a pain with their long respawn times and low drop rates, but some players have found an exploit that guarantees that your favorite boss will drop an Echo every time you defeat them. This exploit will probably get patched sometime in the future, so jump on it while you can. It’s also not the most efficient way of farming Echoes, but if you really need a specific Echo like Tempest Mephis for your build, then it’s the best way of getting it. How to Get Guaranteed Boss Echoes in Wuthering Waves To get guaranteed boss Echo drops in Wuthering Waves, kill the boss that you’re targeting until they drop an Echo. You get a few boosted drop rates with each weekly reset in Wuthering Waves, so you really won’t need to do this exploit until you run out of those. After killing the boss and collecting their Echo, go kill another boss from the same class with the same Cost. For example, all bosses that drop ascension ma...

How to get Flint in Soulmask

Soulmask is the newest early access survival game to hit Steam, and even though it has a unique setting and theme, it still has the same basic skeleton as other games in the genre. That means you’ll still be mining and gathering resources like Flint as part of the core gameplay loop. In addition to crashing issues and other glitches, Soulmask doesn’t do a great job of showing new players where to harvest certain materials and resources though, and finding Flint is a huge roadblock for some Soulmask players. Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to stock up on Flint once you know where to find it. Where to Mine Flint in Soulmask To get Flint in Soulmask, you need a pickaxe. The earliest pickaxe that you can craft in Soulmask is the stone pickaxe, which only requires one Branch and five Stone. You’ll need to unlock the blueprint for the stone pickaxe in the Knowledge & Technology menu first, though. Once you have a stone pickaxe, just approach any rock and ...

Senate Democrats Who Back Biden’s Crackdown on Fossil Fuels Suddenly Worried About High Gas Prices

Senate Democrats Who Back Biden’s Crackdown on Fossil Fuels Suddenly Worried About High Gas Prices

Numerous Democrats who have helped the Biden administration restrict fossil fuel development and production are now concerned about high gas prices as the 2024 elections loom. A group of 23 Senate Democrats—including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, and Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania—signed a Thursday letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking him to have the Department of Justice investigate major energy companies for allegedly colluding to raise gas prices for Americans and fatten their bottom lines. The suggestion that oil companies are illegally collaborating to rip off American consumers is not new to Democrats, who have revived the narrative as prices at the pump tick up ahead of the 2024 elections. “The federal government must use every tool to prevent and prosecute collusion and price fixing that may have increased gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil, and jet fuel costs in a way that has materially harmed virtually every American household and business,” the letter states. “We therefore urge the Department of Justice to investigate the oil industry, to hold accountable any liable actors, and to end any illegal activities.” The letter references ExxonMobil’s recent acquisition of Pioneer Natural Resources and amplifies the Federal Trade Commission’s allegation that Chris Sheffield, the founder and ex-CEO of Pioneer, tried to organize collusion between American and OPEC energy producers to artificially inflate profits. Sheffield, however, has strongly contested that allegation, saying in a statement that the “FTC is wrong to imply that [he] ever engaged in, promoted or even suggested any form of anti-competitive behavior.” Beyond Warren, Schumer, and Casey, other signatories include Democratic Sens. Chris Murphy of Connecticut, Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, Ed Markey of Massachusetts, Sherrod Brown of Ohio, and Bernie Sanders of Vermont, a nominal independent who caucuses with Democrats. Each senator who signed the letter also voted for the Inflation Reduction Act, President Joe Biden’s flagship climate bill, and have also supported many other facets of the Biden administration’s efforts to move the U.S. away from fossil fuels. Warren’s voting record has earned her a 95% lifetime approval score from the League of Conservation Voters, one of the country’s largest and most influential environmental groups that openly rejects fossil fuels, and a 100% score for 2023. Last year, Warren voted against an attempt to rein in the government’s push to regulate a wide array of consumer appliances, a bill promoting the Mountain Valley Pipeline, and to protect a Labor Department rule pushing asset managers to incorporate climate risks in their investment decisions. Casey voted in favor of the Mountain Valley Pipeline, but joined Warren on the other two votes. He also voted against a 2022 effort to increase the number of government-issued oil lease sales and opposed another 2022 move that would have prevented federal permitting or regulatory actions from hindering fossil fuel development. Schumer also voted to support the Mountain Valley Pipeline in 2023, but he has voted in line with what the League of Conservation Voters advised in every other instance since Biden took office in January 2021, with one exception. He has opposed four legislatives proposals that would have made it easier or less expensive to produce oil and gas throughout Biden’s term. Murphy voted against the Mountain Valley Pipeline, and also opposed legislation that would have increased offshore and onshore oil and gas development. Whitehouse voted against the Mountain Valley Pipeline, as well as numerous legislative efforts to enhance oil and gas leasing activity. Markey, meanwhile, has consistently voted against legislation intended to make it easier to produce oil and gas for his entire career. Brown voted to support the Mountain Valley Pipeline, but he has opposed four initiatives meant to boost oil drilling through Biden’s term. Sanders, one of the most left-wing lawmakers in Washington, also voted against the four same legislative efforts and has consistently opposed bills designed to make drilling easier throughout his career. Gas prices are increasing as the pivotal 2024 elections approach on the calendar. In January, the national average per-gallon price of all formulations of gasoline was approximately $3.08, a figure that has since increased to $3.60 as of May, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The administration is moving to release about 1 million barrels of gasoline from the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve to try to bring down prices this summer. The administration also released 180 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve ahead of the 2022 midterms, selling several million barrels to Chinese companies and leaving the reserve at its lowest levels in decades. Numerous economists and analysts, and even the CEO of Chevron, have attributed the price increases in part to the Biden administration’s $1 trillion-plus climate agenda. The administration has made many decisions that restrict domestic oil and gas production, pushed aggressive environmental regulations affecting energy producers and established massive subsidy programs to favor sources of green energy, such as wind and solar. These choices have the combined effect of driving up prices that consumers pay at the pump and elsewhere over time, according to the American Energy Alliance, a right-leaning energy advocacy group. In January 2020, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans paid an average of $2.55 per gallon for all types of gas, according to the Energy Information Administration. Those figures have risen considerably since November 2020, the month that Biden won the presidential election. The average price sat at $3.61 per gallon in April 2024 after peaking at $4.92 in June 2022. Democrats pushed similar messaging about major energy companies and collusion in 2022, when gas prices were causing political headaches for Biden and fellow Democrats ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. However, analysts from the Dallas branch of the Federal Reserve argued at the time that corporate collusion was not one of the factors driving up retail gasoline costs, pointing out that energy producers actually have almost zero control over the prices set by gas station operators. The offices of Schumer, Warren, Casey, Brown, Murphy, Whitehouse, and Sanders did not respond to requests for comment. Biden’s Housing Headache

Biden’s Housing Headache

President Joe Biden promised to lower housing costs during his State of the Union address earlier this spring. To date, his plan has been an utter failure. Just ask Anthony and Caitlin Fumo. A recently married couple with a newborn baby boy, they assumed their combined income would be enough to finance a move closer to their parents. But thanks to Bidenomics, leaving their small rowhome in Philadelphia for a slightly bigger place in Jersey would mean paying almost $2,500 more per month for a new mortgage. As Anthony recently told The Wall Street Journal: “It feels like we make too much money to still feel like we’re behind.” Unfortunately, the latest inflation data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that circumstances aren’t likely to improve for families like the Fumos any time soon. In roughly three years, the median home sales price has more than doubled, increasing 114.5% since Biden took office. Meanwhile, average prices paid by consumers have risen 19.3%, which translates to an average annual inflation rate of 5.6%. These persistently high inflation levels have far outpaced increased paychecks, with real (inflation-adjusted) earnings falling 4.4% under Biden. That’s why the average American’s paycheck can buy about $50 less today than in January 2021, despite that paycheck being about $150 larger. Paired with higher interest rates that increase borrowing costs on everything from mortgages to credit card and student loan debt, the Biden administration has effectively transformed homeownership into a luxury outside the reach of the middle class. The bottom line: It costs a family an extra $13,300 per year for the same house compared to January 2021. The Biden administration is trying to deflect, of course. Its official statistics suggest that the cost of homeownership has risen only about 20% over that time, but those figures don’t use real-world data like home prices and interest rates. And no amount of statistical manipulation can make up for the fact that homeownership affordability has plummeted, causing the Fumos-—along with an entire generation of Americans—to hit the snooze button on the dream of homeownership. Now the president is hoping that his plan of “building 2 million units of housing” will resolve this crisis and have Americans grilling out on new back patios before this fall’s election rolls around. But the root of the problem is in Biden’s own backyard. That’s because this entire situation is the direct byproduct of runaway spending in Washington, D.C. When the U.S. Treasury ran multitrillion-dollar deficits year after year, the Federal Reserve stepped in and created the money to finance that borrowing. The result was a massive devaluation of the dollar, at the fastest pace in four decades. In turn, the Fed’s manipulation of interest rates led to artificially low borrowing costs, which then amplified the increase in home prices as would-be buyers bid up sales prices. After the Fed belatedly acknowledged the inflation problem it helped create, it had to raise interest rates, which caused borrowing costs to skyrocket. Today, people who locked in a mortgage at 2% to 3% like the Fumos are effectively trapped in their current homes. Predictably, the supply of existing homes has dried up. And the few that are on the market cause sticker shock because owners must sell for a high premium to have a larger down payment for their next home. Under these conditions, the Biden administration’s plan to build 2 million additional homes via even more inflation-causing deficit spending will only exacerbate the underlying problem. The only solution is to reduce inflation. But Biden has proven time after time that he isn’t willing to do what it takes. Instead of owning up to the truth that his policies have pushed homeownership outside the reach of many families, Biden continues to make false promises. With each passing month, however, fewer Americans are buying the lies and more are getting tired of renting.
