He now will be part of a select group that was inducted both as a member of a band and as a solo act. Some of those are The Beatles members and Eric Clapton. Guns N' Roses was inducted in 2012 and the guitarist Slash is promoting his new studio album "Orgy of The Damned". He talked in an interview with Rockklassiker (Transcribed by Blabbermouth) about Ozzy's induction. He said that Osbourne is one of the most influential and successful artists in the history of Rock and that he should be there. Why Ozzy Osbourne should be in the Rock Hall according to Slash "I think it's great. I think Ozzy is one of the most influential people in rock and roll — period. And there's legions of fans out there that will agree with me on that. So it's a no-brainer that he should be in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame — as Ozzy.
