The subpoena was issued after the top Justice Department official initially failed to comply with a request from the committees for documents related to the two-day-long interview. A transcript of Hur’s Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 interviews with the 81-year-old president was eventually released by the DOJ, which showed Biden confused key dates during the sitdowns, including forgetting which year his son Beau died of brain cancer and the year Donald Trump was elected president. In an 11-page letter sent to the two committees last month, Assistant Attorney General Carlos Uriarte rejected claims that the interview recordings contain information relevant to the Republican-led impeachment inquiry into Biden. Despite having access to the full transcript, the committee says it believes it needs the audio because it may shed insight into Hur’s assessment that Biden’s age and lack of memory played roles in his decision not to press charges. Hur testified to the Judiciary Committee that while he did not have an opinion on whether or not Congress should get access to the recordings, the audio specifically contributed to his decision not to press charges. “It is not for me to weigh into what information Congress should or should not have,” he said at the time, adding: “The audio recordings were part of the evidence, of course, that I considered in coming to my conclusions.” The Justice Department declined to comment on the potential markup of a resolution to hold Garland in contempt. In a May 25 letter to the House committees conducting the Biden impeachment inquiry, Assistant Attorney General Carlos Felipe Uriarte accused the committees of insufficiently explaining why the audio recording would be necessary. “Despite our many requests, the Committees have not articulated a legitimate congressional need to obtain audio recordings from Mr. Hur’s investigation, let alone one that outweighs the Department’s strong interest in protecting the confidentiality of law enforcement files,” he wrote. “The Department will continue to cooperate reasonably and appropriately, but we will not risk the long-term integrity of our law enforcement work.” “After a lengthy investigation into Joe Biden improperly retaining classified documents pertaining to national security, Department of Justice Special Counsel Robert Hur said he will not bring criminal charges,” 100 Percent Fed Up previously reported. According to the report, Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.” “He knew he kept classified information in notebooks stored in his house and he knew he was not allowed to do so,” Hur wrote. Yet, Hur won’t bring criminal charges against Biden. However, the special counsel’s reasons for not bringing charges won’t bode well for the White House resident. Hur cited Biden’s advanced age and poor memory as reasons not to charge him. “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” the report read.

On Sunday, the school confirmed to UnHerd that it was removing a requirement that mandated all prospective faculty submit a diversity, equity and inclusion statement during the hiring process. A university spokesperson told Fox News Digital that “requests for a statement on diversity will no longer be part of applications for any faculty positions at MIT” and added that the decision was made by the school’s president, Sally Kornbluth, with the support of the Provost, Chancellor, and all six academic deans. A 2023 survey conducted by freedom of speech advocacy group the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) found that “large portions of MIT faculty and students are afraid to express their views in various academic settings.” Advocates for free speech and academic freedom have continuously spoken out against requiring DEI statements in university hiring, a practice that many higher education institutions have adopted since the early 2010s. Similar descriptions can be found on the homepage of just about any prominent school in the US as top universities scramble to loudly proclaim their commitment to the practice. Perhaps my friends at MITSOI had something to do with this…. According to an email from Deng, a trans group tried to cancel him, but they successfully defended Hirsh. From MITSOI: The newly-established MIT Students for Open Inquiry (MSOI) began its crusade to spread free speech with “Hirsh Singh: A Political Odyssey” on Tuesday, November 14th. Singh, a lifelong Republican and a self-described “nerd from New Jersey” with a “background in engineering”, delivered an insightful talk to a group of students, teachers, and alumni on politics from the inside, lessons learned, and his personal journey, from college inspiration to taking action. Singh said former House Representative Ron Paul and the Mises Institute, an Austrian economics center, spurred his political involvement. He affirmed the importance of defending economic liberty and America’s founding values. Singh chose politics because “I love this country with all my heart, and I believe this country can do so much more than what has been going on”, and supported free expression: “Even if someone says something that I absolutely disagree with, I believe in the concept of letting them express it so that I can understand what I might not understand. If new information presents itself that…calls into question what I believe, I will take it under consideration and always adapt and change to be right.” The talk included theoretical and experiential wisdom. Singh balanced hope and action, noting “You can’t actually fix the world or move it in the right direction if you’re operating from the standpoint of idealism. Idealism should be the guardrails, but you have to take what the current situation is into hand before you start actually adjusting it.” On money, he opined, “Yes, you need money for being involved in the game, but money doesn’t win anything, because you’re not convincing people by throwing money at them.” To the youth, he conveyed a sense of gaining solidity: “If you have interest in really being political, go and dive deep into each policy issue so you can understand what you believe, because you’re not going to convince anyone else unless you’re speaking from your own personal conviction.” Singh recounted his own experiences: “When you’re young, you think you know everything, and only through going through that wringer do you actually become more capable of understanding how the world really works.” A final reassurance came with self-confidence: “Make sure you know why you stand where you stand, because if they come at you with gotcha questions, at least you know you’re standing on your own two feet.” A Q&A session followed, in which many attendees of different perspectives asked diverse questions for Singh. The most common topic was foreign policy: Russia-Ukraine and China-Taiwan. Singh was “very much so opposed to continuing aggression in the Ukraine space” and did not want to “send American sons and daughters over to Ukraine to die.” But Taiwan, which he called “very different”, saw Singh advocate for “show[ing] firm resolve that under no circumstances are we going to allow [China] to take Taiwan. And if they understand that, then they’re not going to threaten [Taiwan’s] future.” Singh assessed the American economy and its competition, and was “not threatened by [China’s belt and road initiative]. I actually think that we just need to bring manufacturing more back to the U.S. for core issues, and allow for diversified economic utilization of factories.” When asked about labor, Singh zoomed in on his home state and drew a nuance in unionization: “New Jersey is a very union state, and I would say that…it’s such an expensive state and…you have a bureaucratic overstep because of the unions having superior power, which is baked in the cost of a lot of things and has disconnected the original intent. So, I’m pro union worker more so than pro union.” No MIT Students for Open Inquiry event is complete without—as the name implies—touching some taboos; when asked what the most forbidden topics in academia were, Singh’s two answers were the covid vaccine—”forcing someone to inject themselves with something that has not been fully tested or something you have a particular doubt about is anathema to America”—and questioning the 2020 election. Critically, Singh argued for free speech on third rail topics: “Whenever you try to limit someone’s speech, the bad ideas don’t disappear. They go under, and they get uglier, and they get worse.” The MSOI commends him for defending free speech. Disagreements arose when a trans advocacy group sent an email to MIT undergrads suggesting a cancellation, saying Singh would bring “harm” and “discomfort.” The MSOI repelled these attacks on open inquiry and stood its ground, concluding the dialogue with an apt “Thank you for your free speech!” The exchange is available at the MSOI’s website, here. Overall, the event was a big success, an intellectual stream of politics and observations, with civil discussion and audience viewpoint diversity notable. The MSOI has established a beachhead for uncommon opinions on academia’s soil, especially right-wing ones, as it continues the campaign for free speech at the math and tech capital of the world. The MSOI next invites Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, MIT ’87 inventor of email, systems scientist, and Independent presidential candidate to the stage. MSOI’s founding seems to have been spurred on by the Professor Dorian Abbot cancellation. Cancel culture struck, but in addition to just cancelling a voice it didn’t like, this time it created something new….MSOI. The MIT Free Speech Alliance has more on the infamous cancellation: Professor Dorian Abbot of the University of Chicago was invited to give the prestigious John Carlson Lecture at MIT, on the topic of the habitability of planets outside our Solar System. It was scheduled for October 21, 2021.  Throughout September that year, a Twitter campaign built to get him uninvited. On September 30, MIT told Professor Abbot that it was canceling his lecture. Why was Abbot disinvited? In 2020 Prof. Abbot made Youtube videos advocating to treat people as individuals and hiring them on that basis rather than on group identity. Then on August 12, 2021 Abbott published an op-ed in Newsweek advocating Merit, Fairness, and Equality (MFE) in place of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for faculty hiring and promotion. A Twitter campaign was begun to get him disinvited from giving lectures at other universities. In late September, a group of MIT grad students, postdocs, and recent alumni demanded on Twitter that he be disinvited. Eight days later, the lecture was cancelled. The disinvitation was announced by Professor Robert van der Hilst, head of the Department of Earth, Atmospheric & Planetary Sciences (EAPS).  As the New York Times put it (quoted in a Reason article which is open-access): He stressed that he talked to senior officials at M.I.T. before deciding to cancel the lecture. “It was not who shouted the loudest,” Dr. van der Hilst said. “I listened very carefully.” Dr. van der Hilst speculated that Black students might well have been repelled if they learned of Dr. Abbot’s views on affirmative action. This lecture program was founded to explore new findings on climate science and M.I.T. has hoped to attract such students to the school. He acknowledged that these same students might well in years to come encounter professors, mentors even, who hold political views at odds with their own. “Those are good questions but somewhat hypothetical,” Dr. van der Hilst said. “Freedom of speech goes very far but it makes civility difficult.” The Implications of the Cancellation MIT’s disinvitation of Professor Abbot was widely covered, including by the New York Times, Atlantic, the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, and the London Daily Mail. It was often noted that the disinvitation was a new low in university suppression of free speech: Abbot was disinvited not because of what he was going to say in his lecture, but because of his opinions expressed in unrelated writing. According to Twitter, the group has also invited Steve Kirsch to come speak: MIT invited me to give a talk in my auditorium. Previously, all of my requests were refused because they couldn’t find a faculty sponsor. We further believe you have a right to offend, and no right to be free from offense; a right to be wrong, and no right or expectation that you will be shielded from views you dislike. But a statement of rights is not enough. The MSOI is here to put these rights into action. As MIT students, we are uniquely positioned to challenge the prevailing censorship-educational complex. The youth are MIT and America’s future. Will we let the Institute and the country be run by censorious tyrants, or by defenders of our heritage of liberty and free thinking? It is a lonely fight. Very few organizations have the gall to challenge an establishment that demands obedience and punishes dissent. The Boy Scouts of America announced it intends to change its name for the first time in the organization’s 114-year history. In an effort to be more ‘inclusive,’ the organization will refer to itself as Scouting America. Once Nelson is released from prison, the Redmond, Washington man will be on supervised release for the rest of his life and will be prohibited from having contact with juveniles without permission. The cameras were discovered in July 2021 discreetly hidden within paper towel dispensers in bathrooms at a Boy Scout ranch in St. Francois County, located about 80 miles south of St. Louis. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Nelson had positioned the cameras so that they would capture a shower stall and other portions of the bathroom. A scout leader and scouts discovered one camera while cleaning out one of the restroom stalls. After searching for more, they uncovered the second camera and called the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department. Nelson, who was spotted near the bathrooms, initially told investigators that he was looking for a cell phone charger that he’d left in the stall, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

A new preprint cell study from Brown University has found that the spike protein from SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), helps cancer cells survive and resist chemotherapy. Article by Laura Harris, republished with permission from Naturalnews.com According to the study, led by Dr. Wafik El-Deiry, the director of Brown’s Legorreta Cancer Center, spike protein may promote cancer survival and growth through interference with anti-cancer activities, blocking the function of a crucial cancer suppressor gene known as p53. El-Deiry and his colleagues observed that when cancer cells encountered spike protein subunits, it reduced the activity of p53, a protein that helps defend the body against tumors. This allowed the cancer cells to escape the body’s natural defenses against tumor formation. El-Deiry also explained that interfering with p53 can both foster cancer development and bolster cancer growth. The study also used chemotherapy drugs to activate the p53 genes, but instead of dying, the researchers found that cancer cells containing spike protein subunits displayed increased resistance to chemotherapy, a standard treatment for various types of cancers. (Related: Dr. Robert Malone warns Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine may cause CANCER.) “We saw enhanced cancer cell viability in the presence of SARS-CoV-2 spike S2 subunit after treatment with several chemotherapy agents,” said El-Deiry. More and more studies are linking COVID-19 vaccines to cancer cases A Japanese study, published in the medical journal Cureus on April 8, backed the findings of the research from Brown. The study examined age-adjusted mortality rates for 20 different types of cancer in Japan using official statistics on death, SARS-CoV-2 infections and vaccination rates from 2020 to 2022. Japan, which is now administering its seventh vaccine dose, shows “statistically significant increases” in cancer deaths following the administration of the third vaccine dose. During the initial year of the pandemic in 2022, there were no excessive cancer mortalities (-0.4 percent). However, the data shows some excess cancer mortalities of 1.1 percent after the mass vaccination campaigns with the first and second doses in 2021, and then higher excess cancer mortalities of 2.1 percent in 2022 after the rollout of the third vaccine dose. In 2022, excess mortalities for all cancers, specifically estrogen and estrogen receptor alpha (ERα)-sensitive cancers, including ovarian, leukemia, prostrate, lip/oral/pharyngeal, pancreatic and breast cancers, became substantial. Aside from the ERα-sensitive cancers, the study also shows a concerning trend in mortality rates for the most fatal cancers—lung, colorectal, stomach and liver cancers—which were declining before the pandemic. Nevertheless, the rate of decline decelerated following the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. All six cancer types exceeded anticipated mortality values in 2021 and 2022, even though pancreatic cancer already displayed a steady rise predating the pandemic. The highest number of cancer-related mortalities occurred among individuals aged 80 to 84, with over 90 percent of this group having received a third vaccine dose. Almost 100 percent of the vaccines administered were mRNA-based, predominantly Pfizer’s (78 percent) followed by Moderna’s (22 percent). Furthermore, the researchers argued that even with reduced cancer screenings and limited healthcare access at that time, the mortality rate increase in these cancer types is still unexplainable due to resolved restrictions on healthcare access for cancer screenings and treatments in 2022. From Vigilant News: “We know that the COVID vaccines have done various degrees of damage to the immune system in a fraction of people who’ve taken them,” attested Dr. Harvey Risch in a recent interview with The Epoch Times. “And that damage could be anywhere from getting COVID more often, getting other infectious diseases, and perhaps it may also be cancer in the longer term,” he warned. After the FDA approves the human drug for sale, does it then have the authority to interfere with how that drug is used within the doctor-patient relationship? The FDA explicitly stated that ivermectin “isn’t authorized or approved to treat COVID-19.” However, the agency attempted to excuse its corruption. “FDA made these statements in response to multiple reports of consumers being hospitalized, after self medicating with ivermectin intended for horses, which is available for purchase over the counter without the need for prescription,” Honold said. In an interview with Maria Bartiromo, Senator Ron Johnson described the destruction caused by the actions of the FDA. “The doctors I’ve been dealing with and talking to for yours now, they believe that probably hundreds of thousands of Americans lost their lives because they were denied early treatment,” Johnson said. “And they were denied it because the FDA sabotaged, for example, ivermectin. If you were in English class, they would say that was a command.” Ms. Honold described the statements as “merely quips.” “Can you answer the question, please? Is that a command, ‘Stop it’?” Judge Elrod asked. “In some contexts, those words could be construed as a command,” Ms. Honold said. “But in this context, where FDA was simply using these words in the context of a quippy tweet meant to share its informational article, those statements do not rise to the level of a command.” The statements “don’t prohibit doctors from prescribing ivermectin to treat COVID or for any other purpose” Ms. Honold said. She noted that the FDA, along with the statements, said that people should consult their health care providers about COVID-19 treatments and that they could take medicine if it was prescribed by the provider. “FDA is clearly acknowledging that doctors have the authority to prescribe human ivermectin to treat COVID. You would assume based on all the MSM propaganda that Ivermectin is only approved for Horses and not Humans. The only problem with that? It’s not true. Not even close. Here’s the real truth: Yes folks, that is a statement taken from PolitiFact’s very own fact-checking page about Ivermectin. But what they do with their “Face Check” is so insidious…. Here’s how PolitiFact tries to claim that the TRUE statement is still somehow false, watch these mental gymnastics: This post was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Facebook.) It is true that ivermectin was approved by the Food and Drug Administration that year — but not to treat the coronavirus. The drug was approved for strongyloidiasis, a disease caused by a roundworm, and onchocerciasis, or river blindness, which is caused by a parasitic worm. The drug was approved for humans under the brand name Stromectol, National Geographic reported, and since then it’s been recognized as a safe treatment for several tropical diseases caused by parasites. In 2015, two scientists even won a Nobel Prize for their discovery of ivermectin and its use to treat diseases caused by parasites. But unlike, say, river blindness, COVID-19 is caused by a coronavirus, not by parasites. And as PolitiFact recently reported in a story exploring ivermectin, there’s no conclusive evidence that ivermectin is effective against COVID-19. The lying and the deception is just so evil, really makes me angry. If you gave me a full year, I couldn’t come up with all the twists and turns these people take to turn the TRUTH into a lie. It’s sickening. But we’re just getting started. Next come the scare tactics and VERY misleading headlines. Like this article from WIVB Channel 4 News: After a recent resurgence in several states, health officials are warning residents to be aware of a dangerous of an unauthorized “treatment” for COVID-19 — often being taken with dangerous consequences. It’s called ivermectin and it’s used to treat and prevent parasites in animals, the Food and Drug Administration explains. The tablets are not FDA approved for treatment of COVID-19 in humans and isn’t even an anti-viral drug — meaning it has no impact on the coronavirus. And because the large-concentration tablets are intended for large animals, these can be treacherous for humans. In addition to not being authorized for treatment, there’s no evidence ivermectin treats COVID-19. “There’s a lot of misinformation around, and you may have heard that it’s okay to take large doses of ivermectin. That is wrong.” FDA The FDA and several state officials say they’ve seen an uptick in calamitous use of the drugs, particularly tablets used to treat parasitic worms in horses. While ivermectin is approved for humans to treat certain skin conditions (rosacea) and certain external parasites like head lice, the FDA warns this ivermectin is different than the one used in animals. On Friday, the Mississippi Department of Health was forced to send out a warning to residents about the dangers of the drug after several poisonings. The Mississippi Poison Control Center said at least 70% of recent ivermectin-related calls are tied to people taking livestock or animal formulations they bought a livestock supply stores or through online markets. Eighty-five percent of callers had mild symptoms — these include rash, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain — but one person needed evaluation because of how much they’d taken. More severe dangers of ivermectin ingestion include neurologic disorders, seizures, coma and death. Use of ivermectin should only be taken if prescribed by a doctor for an FDA-approved use. Regardless of the usage and prescription, the FDA warns ivermectin overdose is still possible. Possible interaction with other medications is also a possibility. I highlighted the key parts. A 70% SURGE in Ivermectin Poison Center calls sounds like a lot doesn’t it? NPR even reports a 245% surge!  Oh my! Sounds bad until you realize according to NPR that the 245% surge is going from 133 calls to 459 calls….NATIONWIDE! According to the National Poison Data System (NPDS), which collects information from the nation’s 55 poison control centers, there was a 245% jump in reported exposure cases from July to August — from 133 to 459. Yes folks, out of 333 MILLION people, there were 459 calls to poison centers. So 0.00000137% of the population. And those are just calls. According to the bold part of the Channel 4 article, 85% of those people who called or had symptoms had MILD symptoms like a rash. The horror! According to the article, only ONE person needed a further evaluation. But is this what you hear in the MSM? No. If you listed only to the MSM fear-porn, you’d think we had a crisis of Ivermectin deaths. The truth is the polar opposite. Anyone else REALLY tired of being lied to? It’s why I’m here. I will continue to shout the truth from the rooftops! But I’m not done yet. Did you know that Ivermectin has actually been listed even by the corrupt WHO as one of the most “essential medicines” out there? It’s true, you can read it right here until they take it down. But I’m not done yet! Let’s cut right to the chase and go to a medical journal to see the true toxicity data on Ivermectin in humans. Seems like something JOURNALISTS should do, don’t you think? Let’s go to INCHEM.org, the WHO’s own website for “Internationally Peer Reviewed Chemical Safety Information”. They lay it out in black and white and even a non-medical person like me can understand it. Now let’s go down to Section 7.2 of their report which is about Toxicity in Humans: I’m going to bold the key part: 7.2 Toxicity 7.2.1 Human data 7.2.1.1 Adults Amounts approaching the therapeutic doses in animals (100 to 200 ðg/kg bodyweight) are not hazardous to humans. Ingestions of large quantities (10 to 100 times the animal therapeutic dosage) may produce symptoms resembling those observed in animal toxicology studies at high toxic levels. An adult female accidentally self-injected a small quantity (approximately 200 ðg/kg) subcutaneously. Twelve hours later she experienced colicky pain with nausea but recovered within 12 hours (MSD, 1988). Clinical studies of oral ivermectin given in doses from 2 to 200 ðg/kg (maximum 12 mg) have shown a pattern of adverse experiences that included only one serious event (transient stupor). The remaining adverse experiences were considered not serious and were chiefly of the type expected based on the characteristics of the underlying disease and the responses seen after treatment with other microfilaricidal drugs, except for reports of "depression" (not psychiatrically tested) in four patients in open studies (MSD, 1988). 7.2.1.2 Children A 16-month-old boy weighing 15 kg ingested approximately 100 to 130 mg of ivermectin (as an injectable solution). Ten hours post-ingestion he had mydriasis in one pupil, with frequent vomiting, pallor, 35°C temperature, tachycardia, somnolence and variable blood pressure. He developed urticaria the following day, and had recovered after three days (MSD, 1988). Let’s start with the very first line: even if you take the ANIMAL dosage, it is “not hazardous to humans”. Case closed folks. Seriously, why is this not front page news? Is it because Ivermectin WORKS and actually treats COVID-19 and they can’t let that happen? Just asking. The AstraZeneca COVID-19 shot is being withdrawn worldwide, months after the pharmaceutical company acknowledged for the first time in court documents the injection can cause blood clotting. As 100 Percent Fed Up noted, the European Union’s (EU) European Commission announced the marketing authorization for AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 shot, upon the company’s request, had been withdrawn. Fifty-one families are pursuing legal action against the pharmaceutical titan, arguing the 'defective' jab was to blame for their injuries and deaths of loved ones. Lawyers involved in the huge legal battle think some victims could be in line for pay-outs worth up to £5million. As such, the total compensation bill – which would be footed by taxpayers because of a deal AstraZeneca struck with the Government before the roll-out commenced – could theoretically reach £255m, if judges were to rule the vaccine was to blame for all of the injuries and deaths involved in the class action. However, claims have yet to be fully quantified and some cases could eclipse or fall much short of the estimated £5million. Some might not be proven to be down to the vaccine, which was given to millions of Britons. Deadly side effects were extraordinarily rare.
