House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed Monday that FEMA employees told him that the agency has a “pattern” of discriminating against conservatives, contradicting claims from FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell. Comer told Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro that he had spoken with FEMA employees who appeared to confirm fired supervisor Marn’i Washington’s claims that her instructions for workers in Florida to “avoid homes advertising Trump” was in accordance with agency policy. The House Oversight Committee launched an investigation into FEMA after whistleblowers told The Daily Wire that at least 20 homes in Lake Placid with Trump signs or flags were skipped during Hurricane Milton relief operations. “We fear that this isn’t an isolated incident. We believe this is a pattern,” Comer said in an interview released on “The Ben Shapiro Show” on Monday. “We’ve spoken with other employees who haven’t yet come forward, but have provided some information that this is the way FEMA operates, that they do discriminate against Republicans, against conservatives, against people in more prominent neighborhoods.” Comer’s comments come a day before Criswell will appear before the Oversight Committee. Before meeting with the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday, Criswell will testify before the House Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management. Criswell has said that Washington’s guidance was an “isolated” incident and not approved by the agency.  “The employee who issued this guidance had no authority and was given no direction to tell teams to avoid these homes and we are reaching out to the people who may have not been reached as a result of this incident,” she said, announcing that Washington had been fired.  Comer said the committee plans to interview Washington, who has claimed that FEMA has a widespread policy of avoiding “politically hostile” homes.  “FEMA always preaches avoidance first and then de-escalation, so this is not isolated,” she told Roland Martin last week. “This is a colossal event of avoidance not just in the state of Florida, but you will find avoidance in the Carolinas.” Comer told Shapiro that the guidance was endemic to the broader takeover of federal agencies by leftist activists.  “I think every government agency, whether it’s FEMA, whether it’s the EPA, whether it’s the FBI, whether it’s the Securities and Exchange Commission,” Comer said. “I think every agency in the federal government is populated with left-wing activists that have risen to the top.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly destroyed a top-secret nuclear weapons research facility late last month where Iran was actively conducting research for its illicit and undeclared nuclear weapons program. Israel hit the facility in Parchin during retaliatory strikes against the Islamic regime after it launched more than 180 ballistic missiles into Israel early last month. Multiple U.S. and Israeli officials told Axios that the strike against the facility “significantly damaged Iran’s effort over the past year to resume nuclear weapons research,” the report said. The site where the nuclear weapons research was happening was the Taleghan 2 facility in the Parchin military complex, the report said. The strike destroyed advanced equipment that is needed to design sophisticated explosive materials that are required to detonate a nuclear device. Satellite imagery shows that the facility, which was a previously declared nuclear weapons facility decades ago, was completely destroyed in the strike. U.S. and Israeli officials said that Iran was trying to conceal its nuclear weapons research at the facility by presenting it as research for civilian purposes. The report said only a small number of officials in Iran’s Islamic government knew about what was going on at the facility. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ A U.S. official told Axios that the strike was “a not so subtle message that the Israelis have significant insight into the Iranian system even when it comes to things that were kept top secret and known to a very small group of people in the Iranian government.” Andrea Stricker, deputy director of the Nonproliferation and Biodefense Program and a research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, said in an interview this week that she does not expect Iran to retaliate against Israel for destroying the facility because that would be an acknowledgment that it was conducting illicit nuclear weapons research. “Israel stayed under [President Biden’s] red line of not targeting the major nuclear sites because in order to protest, Iran would have had to admit that it was violating its nuclear non-proliferation treaty obligation not to work on nuclear weapons,” she said. “Israel really did the world a service here by creating a potential bottle neck in the program.”

Illinois Democratic Governor J.B. Pritzker said. He has helped make Illinois one of the most far-Left states in terms of transgender policies, including those aimed at minors. He is responsible for the state adding non-discrimination protections for “transgender, nonbinary and gender nonconforming students” in December 2021. “Ensuring every Illinois student has access to a safe, validating learning environment where they can be their true self is a top priority for my administration,” Pritzker said at the time. The governor also signed into law a public school sex education bill that promotes gender identity ideology and other related material in grades K-12. The transgender rights activist heads up the Tawani Foundation, which “funds studies and efforts aimed at leading to a better understanding, and acceptance, of gender and human sexuality diversity.” The Pritzker family is one of America’s wealthiest families, with an estimated $41.6 billion net worth built mainly through the Hyatt hotel chain. The Illinois Democrat’s stance stands in contrast to what Trump has said about the transgender issue. In 2023, the president-elect said, “I will then ask Congress to permanently stop federal taxpayer dollars from being used to promote or pay for these procedures and pass a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states.”

This past weekend, boxing promotors brought us a prize fight the world anticipated with mixed emotions. Jake Paul (27) and Mike Tyson (58) faced off in the ring. The fight was broadcast on Netflix (sort of), and (some) viewers watched as the younger fighter dominated the match after the bell rang in the third round. Yes, sadly, the grey cat reverted to dirty tricks in an attempt to sway the match. It didn’t work, though; the two cats were up and back to bobbing and weaving while throwing ineffective jabs at one another. Unlike the real Jake Paul and Mike Tyson bout, the cat match-up was pretty even. Each boxer threw similar punches, ducking and jabbing in unison. Mike Tyson lost to the much younger Jake Paul in a points-based decision. Jake Paul is a YouTuber who has only been boxing since 2020 and has a record of 11-1. Tyson came out of retirement for the match after only fighting in exhibition matches since 2005. The disclaimer at the bottom of the video proclaims, “The actions in this video are performed or supervised by professionals.
