Apple’s foldable iPhone prototypes were just detailed by the most reliable source so far

A few days after a report corroborated that Apple is considering its first foldable product‚ The Information says Cupertino is working on at least two foldable iPhone prototypes. According to the publication‚ these models would fold widthwise "like a clamshell." One of the benefits of a foldable iPhone would be making it smaller and more portable than typical smartphones. In addition‚ like Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip‚ you would be able to take photos without the help of a stand by unfolding it at a 90-degree angle. The report says this foldable iPhone is in early development. Still‚ since a larger form-factor foldable iPad also has its own challenges‚ it's unclear when any of these devices might launch. According to Apple's plans‚ the company wants to create a device that is half as thin as current iPhone models‚ so it isn't too thick when folded. A screen facing outwards‚ such as Galaxy Z Flip‚ has also been considered. The report believes Apple started this project around 2020‚ but it might need a few more years until it's completed. More interestingly‚ Korean outlet The Elec has recently learned that Apple is considering a 2026 or 2027 release date for a foldable device that would be about the same size as the iPad Mini. The report doesn’t call it a phone. Previous rumors said that Apple’s first foldable device might be a tablet rather than an iPhone.  The Elec points out that 2027 would mark the 20th anniversary of the iPhone and the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone with an OLED panel. The latter isn’t really a cause for celebration. The 2017 iPhone X had to be different because Apple celebrated the handset’s 10th anniversary. And the OLED screen is what allowed Apple to make an all-screen display in addition to the TrueDepth system. However‚ making a foldable iPhone in 2027 to mark the iPhone’s 20th anniversary would be a big deal. Thanks to this Information report‚ I now think this could be Apple's ultimate goal by once again reshaping how we use and interact with our iPhones by introducing a foldable variant. Tuna Salad

Tuna Salad

Creamy and oh so flavorful‚ this Tuna Salad recipe is the perfect thing to make for the whole family to enjoy for lunch or a quick dinner! NOT YOUR MOM’S TUNA SALAD RECIPE I think most people know how to make a very basic tuna salad. There isn’t much to it and it’s all well and good. We know it and we love it. But if you’re looking for a recipe that is steps above the usual‚ then this one is for you! I like the combination of mayonnaise and sour cream together that I use with this recipe. I do this with my chicken salad and it’s always a huge favorite so I apply it to tuna salad as well. Also‚ the combination of celery AND pickle relish really gives this taste and texture. I think these two things really set this recipe apart from other recipes. It is still super simple and quick to throw together but will be the best tuna salad sandwich you’ve ever made! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:   Why did my tuna salad turn out watery? To prevent this from happening‚ make sure you drain the canned tuna REALLY well. Most of the time that is all it is. Do I have to keep my tuna chunky like you did? Of course not. This is your tuna salad so you make it your way. Just stir the tuna more to make it finer. How to make tuna salad with pasta? I’ve got you covered! You can easily jazz this tuna salad up by adding some cooked pasta to the mix. If you’re looking for a recipe‚ try my Tuna Pasta Salad recipe. What else can I add? I have seen so many regional variations to tuna salad. My friends up north love to add dill to their tuna salad. I personally don’t like fresh dill a whole lot so it’s not my favorite but you can add some other fresh herbs like parsley or chives. How to store tuna salad? It should be stored in a covered‚ airtight container and stored in the refrigerator where it will keep for up to 3 days. I don’t suggest trying to freeze this recipe. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE) canned tuna – I always go with tuna in water. The tuna in oil can sometimes interact with the other flavors and it can also end up more oily than you would want for a tuna salad. mayonnaise – you will never ever catch me using Miracle Whip but if that is your favorite then obviously feel free to use it here. sour cream – the only other acceptable substitute would be plain Greek yogurt. celery – I like the added crunchiness the celery gives this but if you don’t like celery than simply leave it out. sweet onion – for a slightly less strong onion flavor‚ try using a shallot instead. dill pickle relish – if you prefer you can just use one or the other: celery or pickle relish. They really do go outstanding together. Or if you don’t like dill pickle relish than maybe try a sweet pickle relish. lemon juice (optional)- This really amplifies the flavor profile and just ties everything together but it is not necessary. If you are going to use it though‚ it needs to be fresh and not bottled. The bottled stuff can really throw off the other flavors. salt and pepper – there are a lot of other flavors going on here so a simple salt and pepper seasoning works best. HOW TO MAKE TUNA SALAD In a large bowl‚ stir together the tuna‚ mayonnaise‚ sour cream‚ celery‚ onion‚ pickle relish‚ lemon juice‚ salt‚ and pepper.  Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge until ready to serve or use immediately. Bob Beckwith‚ Firefighter Featured In Famous Photo With Bush During 9/11‚ Dies At 91

Bob Beckwith‚ a retired firefighter from the New York City Fire Department‚ gained widespread recognition after he was featured in an iconic photo from the ground zero scene of the devastating September 11‚ 2001‚ terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. In the famous photo‚ Beckwith stood shoulder to shoulder with President George W. Bush amidst the rubble. The firefighter recently passed away after a long battle with skin cancer‚ which later spread to his brain and lungs. “Bob lived a life of service to others‚ whether heeding the call to serve in the Navy during the Korean War or as an FDNY Firefighter for more than 30 years‚” the family announced. “His iconic moment with President Bush at Ground Zero on 9/11 helped rally the nation in its darkest time and served as a symbol for first responders everywhere. Above all‚ Bob was the quintessential husband‚ father‚ brother‚ grandfather‚ and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed.” Remembering Bob Beckwith and his incredible service Youtube video screenshot Beckwith‚ who had already been retired from the FDNY for seven years following a distinguished 30-year career‚ volunteered and joined other firefighters and first responders in the search and rescue efforts after the attacks on the World Trade Center. While in the line of duty‚ his life took an unexpected turn when the then US president‚ George W. Bush‚ visited the site and stood by his side on the Engine Co. 76 truck with his arm draped around Beckwith’s shoulder as he addressed the rescue team. RELATED: 3 Firefighters Become Dads At Same Hospital Within 24 Hours Reflecting on the iconic photograph in 2011‚ Beckwith’s wife‚ Barbara‚ stated that her husband’s presence in the image‚ which went viral on newspapers and television screens‚ was primarily due to a stroke of luck. “He was just lucky. He was at the right place‚ at the right time‚ and that’s why he’s famous‚” Barbara admitted. “But he was a regular guy. Well-liked and quiet. Just a regular Joe.” Youtube video screenshot Following the announcement of Beckwith’s death‚ there has been an outpouring of tributes from several people who have taken to social media to extend their condolences. Former President Bush paid tribute to the brave firefighters and also commented on their iconic picture together. “Laura and I are saddened by the passing of Bob Beckwith. On September 11‚ 2001‚ Bob was happily retired after more than 30 years of service with the New York City Fire Department‚” he wrote via the X handle of the George W. Bush Presidential Center. “When the terrorists attacked‚ Bob suited back up and‚ like so many brave first responders‚ raced toward the danger to save and search for others.” Youtube video screenshot “His courage represented the defiant‚ resilient spirit of New Yorkers and Americans after 9/11‚” he added. “I was proud to have Bob by my side at Ground Zero days later and privileged to stay in touch with this patriot over the years. Laura and I send our condolences to Barbara and the Beckwith family as they remember this decent‚ humble man.” Click for next Article The post Bob Beckwith‚ Firefighter Featured In Famous Photo With Bush During 9/11‚ Dies At 91 appeared first on DoYouRemember? - The Home of Nostalgia.
