‘Wanted’ Posters Of Jewish Faculty Posted All Over University Of Rochester Campus

‘Wanted’ Posters Of Jewish Faculty Posted All Over University Of Rochester Campus

Last weekend, at the University of Rochester in upstate New York, hundreds of posters of Jewish faculty members emblazoned with “Wanted” were posted around the campus. The posters, which revolved around Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, featured comments such as “ethnic cleansing,” “displacement of Palestinians,” “racism,” and “hate speech.” BREAKING: The pro-Hamas students and faculty plastered the University of Rochester with wanted posters of Jewish faculty. These faculty were not Israeli, they were Jewish. This is textbook antisemitism. Reform has never been more needed at American universities. pic.twitter.com/jdMzlHEAr7 — Eyal Yakoby (@EYakoby) November 12, 2024 “I want to be as clear as I can that the University of Rochester strongly denounces the recent display of ‘Wanted’ posters targeting senior University leaders and members of our faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees,” UR president Sarah Mangelsdorf stated on Tuesday, The Rochester Beacon reported. “This act is disturbing, divisive and intimidating and runs counter to our values as a university. Furthermore, several of those depicted appear to have been targeted because they are members of our Jewish community. We view this as antisemitism, which will not be tolerated at our University. This isn’t who we are. This goes against everything we stand for and we have an obligation to reject it.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “The university’s Hillel organization, which represents Jewish students, called the posters ‘deeply disturbing,’” CNN reported, adding that the Hillel director was one of the targets of the posters. “Posters and displays affixed in this manner are unacceptable and considered to be vandalism to University property,” University Public Safety Chief Quchee Collins stated. “Any activities, including the placement of these posters, that disrupt our normal operations and classroom instruction will not be tolerated. Additionally, it seems that the goal of this vandalism is to intimidate members of our University community, which is an action that runs counter to our Meliora values.” “No group has claimed responsibility for the actions,” The Rochester Beacon reported. “The Rochester Beacon reached out to UR’s chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine and Jewish Voice for Peace, two groups that have spearheaded the protests on campus, but did not get a response.”

Chickens Sporting Gruesome “Paint Job” Take Their Owner By Surprise In Silly Clip

When you own pristine white chickens, finding them with purple faces can be pretty disturbing. Chelsea does not often see chickens that look like they’re wearing war paint and ready to do battle. It didn’t take her long to figure out that her chickens had been in the prickly pear patch. She was still shocked at her babies’ gruesome, zombie-like look. @chelsea_tx9 Well thats good news i guess #chickens #fyp #relatable #farmlife #pricklypear ♬ original sound – North Valley Group The all-white silkies are typically beautiful birds, but the zombie war paint changes their aesthetic. The look could make you choose between cleaning them up or running for your life. You could also let them be chickens and allow the color to wear out eventually. Chelsea opted to have fun with it instead, which is hilarious. @chelsea_tx9 Zombie chickens….#chickens #chickentok #strange #funny #farmtok #pricklypear #cactus #fyp #relatable ♬ original sound – Funny Sound Effects Many people likely have no clue what a prickly pear is, but Chelsea’s chickens know! The prickly pear cactus grows best in rocky or desert terrain but flourishes in most southern states. It has broad, flat pads, long white spines, and tiny, barbed hairs. Image from TikTok. Yellow flowers appear in May and June, and ripe fruit usually appears in July. The little purple fruits are popular in jams and jellies. The prickly pear is the state cactus of Texas, so Chelsea’s war-painted chickens are showing their love of their home state. You can peel and eat the fruit’s meat right off the cacti, but it is also available as a seasonal item in many farm markets. Chelsea has a variety of animals, but it didn’t seem like her silkies were sharing with the other barnyard hens. We’re glad Chelsea shared her zombified chickens on TikTok so we could laugh at their silly “war paint.” You can follow Chelsea on TikTok for more fun farm videos. Please share. Voters Agree in a Landslide to Invest in the Environment–Backing Green Bond by 3:1 Margin in Rhode Island

Attached to the presidential ballots in this year’s elections, Rhode Island had posed question 4: would the voter like to see the state borrow money for environmental preservation? Question 4 passed by a three-to-one margin, authorizing the state to issue $53 million in so-called “Green Bonds” and use the money for farmland and forest preservation. Unbothered And Unapologetic Dog Gets Rescued From Storm Drain

From tire rims and car engines, dogs gets stuck in the most unexpected places. But we do believe that no matter where their mischief takes them, dogs still get bothered, stressed, and are sorry for the resulting incident. However, for one black, fluffy dog in New Hampshire, this couldn’t be further from the truth as they get stuck at the bottom of a storm drain – looking unbothered and unapologetic. On Wednesday, November 06, the Pelham Police Department posted about how the dog was discovered in the storm drain. “Yesterday morning, a resident was walking their dog on Arlene Drive when they discovered a dog that was stuck in drain catch basin,” the Police Department wrote. Officers who responded to the incident were reportedly able to remove the catch basin grate and rescue the dog. The black, fluffy dog, named Jack, was fortunately not injured and was quickly reunited with his owner after his little adventure. Furthermore, the Police Department determined that the mischievous pooch crawled through the drainage pipe and into the storm drain. But what caught the officers’ attention is how unbothered Jack looked when he was discovered and rescued. The department wrote, “He didn’t appear to be concerned about the predicament he put himself in” along with a photo of Jack looking up, looking unbothered. Facebook users were thankful someone spotted Jack and got him rescued. Meanwhile, some users can’t help but notice how cute the rescue was. One Facebook user said, “[this] put a smile on my face” while another called Jack a “silly pupper”. Furthermore, another Facebook user noted that Jack looks like a “very large Schipperke”. The American Kennel Club describes this breed as “curious, lively, and intense but mischievous” which sounds about right and matches Jack perfectly.
