How to beat Nemona Special Coach battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Yes‚ there are as many Nemona battles as stars in the sky‚ but at least this one is “special”. Get it? No? I see myself out. Here is how to beat the Nemona Special Coach battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to beat Nemona Special Coach battle To face Nemona in a Special Coach battle‚ you will first have to complete the base game’s story as well as both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk story. Not only that‚ but you need to beat the Academy Ace Tournament at least once. Once you do that‚ you will unlock the epilogue‚ which you need to complete as well. After all of that‚ and hopefully‚ before hell freezes over‚ you will be able to initiate this battle by visiting the Loyalty Plaza. Democrat Challenging Biden: MSNBC Blackballing Me at Behest of President’s Campaign

Rep. Dean Phillips‚ D-Minn.‚ has accused MSNBC of blackballing him due to influence from President Joe Biden’s campaign‚ according to Politico. Phillips has mounted a primary challenge to Biden and has also expressed frustration at state Democratic parties and the Democratic National Committee for leaving him off the ballot. Now‚ he is accusing the Biden campaign of blocking people from going to his events‚ supporting him and putting him on their platforms‚ he told Politico on Friday. “I do know of specific cases where representatives of the Biden campaign have been very clear to others about trying to not attend events of mine‚ to not support me‚ and to not platform me‚” Phillips asserted. “It is almost antithetical to democratic principles‚ which include debate‚ deliberation and ultimately compromise.” The two candidates the @DNC is trying so hard to extinguish just earned 73% of the Iowa Youth Democratic Straw Poll. The candidate the @DNC is trying so hard to coronate earned just 27% – crushed by Trump by a 3:1 margin.https://t.co/HJFrN7U4Ly pic.twitter.com/t77rjLjfs4— Dean Phillips (@deanbphillips) January 11‚ 2024 “LOL‚” Biden campaign spokesperson T.J. Ducklo told Politico in response to Phillips’ accusation. Phillips is polling over 60 points behind Biden nationally‚ according to the RealClearPolitics average. Phillips has been featured on CNN several times‚ and conservative media have been welcoming to him‚ but he particularly called out MSNBC for how it has treated him. “Right media has been more than invitational‚” Phillips told Politico. “I don’t think there’s an MSNBC viewer that even knows that I’m a congressman‚ because what’s being portrayed is designed to prevent that education.” Phillips’ campaign‚ the Biden campaign and MSNBC did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment. Fauci Admits to Arbitrary Rules That Boosted Mass Surveillance and Suppressed Opinions

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties‚ subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Some people may have already forgotten – but not so long ago billions of law-abiding citizens around the world basically got put under house arrest. When they were able to go outside‚ they had to wear masks‚ and keep 6-feet “social” distance (known as “2-meter rule” in Europe). Not to put too fine a point on it – but‚ it turns out the “science” behind this was pretty much arbitrary. And‚ we learned this from none other than Dr. Anthony Fauci‚ former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The distancing rule was just one of the Covid-era restrictions explained and enforced as coming from “authoritative” medical sources and therefore based on science. To make matters worse‚ the dystopian measures included employing mass surveillance technology‚ enlisting tech companies big and small to enforce the rules‚ and relentlessly censoring not only critics‚ but also merely people asking questions‚ all over the internet. Anthony Fauci was the face‚ albeit very controversial even in the “pandemic heyday” of this “medical authoritativeness” in the US – and now‚ his Covid legacy has just gotten even worse. Fauci this week appeared before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic; while the sessions were held behind closed doors‚ an official statement posted by the House Oversight Committee cited him as making some fairly shocking statements. Evidently asked to explain “the origin” of the 6-feet rule‚ euphemistically referred to as a recommendation‚ Fauci said that it was “likely not based on any data.” Maybe it was based on – common sense? Also unlikely‚ since Fauci went on to say the guidance “sort of just appeared.” Out of thin air? So just like the supposed origin of the virus? That was another major narrative which‚ if challenged‚ got people branded as conspiracy theorists. “He (Fauci) testified that the lab leak hypothesis – which was often suppressed – was‚ in fact‚ not a conspiracy theory‚” Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup is quoted as saying. Some of Fauci’s answers also saw this former high ranking federal official saying he “does not recall” the specifics of the very Covid policies he had been actively imposing on the population. “Dr. Fauci’s transcribed interview revealed systemic failures in our public health system and shed light on serious procedural concerns with our public health authority‚” said Wenstrup‚ adding‚ “It is clear that dissenting opinions were often not considered or suppressed completely. Should a future pandemic arise‚ America’s response must be guided by scientific facts and conclusive data.” Astounding as all of this may be‚ it could prove to be a teachable moment‚ particularly in terms of citizens thinking twice before again allowing mass surveillance to spread under cover of fear mongering. Related: Tech companies race to create social distancing surveillance tech to police the public In 2020‚ in London and Manchester alone‚ thousands of AI (ML)-powered cameras were added “to monitor social distancing and lockdown restrictions.” And when has good old Microsoft managed not to be on the wrong side of history? From a blog post‚ published that year: “By using Azure Machine Learning designer‚ we were able to quickly release a valuable tool built on machine learning insights‚ that predicted occupancy in trains‚ promoting social distancing in the fight against Covid-19.” More on that here. Canada: Police Say Protect the Privacy of Thieves‚ Don’t Post Videos of Them Stealing Packages

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties‚ subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Quebec’s Police force‚ the Sûreté du Québec (SQ)‚ has advised residents against publicly sharing surveillance videos capturing thieves stealing their packages. In recent years‚ the phenomenon of “porch piracy” has become an increasingly troubling aspect of urban and suburban life. As online shopping has surged in popularity‚ so too has the opportunity for thieves to swipe unattended packages from doorsteps and porches. The rise of porch piracy correlates directly with the boom in e-commerce. With millions of packages being delivered daily‚ many are left unattended for hours‚ making them easy targets for thieves. The convenience that online shopping provides to consumers also creates a vulnerability that these criminals exploit. Thieves have reportedly followed delivery vehicles and swooped in to seize packages when left unattended‚ according to Montreal West Public Security Councilor Lauren Small-Pennefather. As package thefts continue to rise‚ homeowners are utilizing online platforms to expose thieves‚ seek community support‚ and sometimes even shame the perpetrators. The trend of uploading videos of package thefts has gained significant momentum. Home security cameras‚ doorbell cams‚ and other surveillance devices are capturing clear footage of these crimes. Victims share these videos on social media platforms like Facebook‚ X‚ and Nextdoor to warn neighbors and others. But now Quebecois police are telling people not to upload the videos to social media. Their reasoning? According to SQ Communications Officer Lt. Benoit Richard‚ it’s to protect the privacy of the thieves. “You cannot post the images yourself because you have to remember‚ in Canada‚ we have a presumption of innocence and posting that picture could be a violation of private life‚” SQ communications officer Lt. Benoit Richard warned‚ according to a report aired on CTV. The post Canada: Police Say Protect the Privacy of Thieves‚ Don’t Post Videos of Them Stealing Packages appeared first on Reclaim The Net.

Censorship Investigation: Jim Jordan Subpoenas Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties‚ subscribe to Reclaim The Net. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has issued a subpoena to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines. This action is part of a wider investigation by the committee into allegations that the federal government has been working in concert with Big Tech companies to suppress certain viewpoints on social media platforms. These allegations raise serious concerns about violations of First Amendment rights. Chairman Jordan‚ in his communication to Haines‚ underscored the gravity of the situation. He cited evidence gathered by the Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government‚ along with other publicly available information‚ highlighting the federal government’s involvement in pressuring and collaborating with Big Tech and other intermediaries. This collaboration‚ as Jordan pointed out‚ has led to the censorship of specific viewpoints online‚ in direct opposition to the principles enshrined in the First Amendment. We obtained a copy of the subpoena cover letter for you here. He emphasized that the First Amendment explicitly forbids government officials from imposing restrictions on speech based on viewpoint. Moreover‚ he mentioned the state action doctrine‚ which prohibits government officials from bypassing constitutional limits by engaging private actors to do what the government itself cannot lawfully do. “The investigative work performed by the Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government‚ along with other publicly available information‚ have revealed how the federal government has pressured and colluded with Big Tech and other intermediaries to censor certain viewpoints on social media in ways that undermine First Amendment principles‚” the subpoena reads. “The First Amendment prohibits government officials from imposing viewpoint-based restrictions on speech. State action doctrine prohibits government officials from circumventing constitutional strictures by using private actors—whether through coercion‚ encouragement‚ entwinement‚ or joint participation—to accomplish what the government cannot directly.” According to a press release from Chairman Jordan‚ in an ongoing investigation‚ the ODNI has come under scrutiny for not providing documents requested by the Committee‚ despite repeated efforts for voluntary cooperation. This is what has sparked the need for a subpoena. The Committee’s request encompasses records concerning the activities of the ODNI’s Foreign Malign Influence Center‚ which‚ according to publicly available information‚ should be within the scope of their inquiry. Additionally‚ the Committee has acquired documents indicating that ODNI personnel were participants in meetings with major social media companies and various federal government agencies. These gatherings‚ commonly referred to as “USG-Industry Sync” meetings‚ are of particular interest to the Committee. Despite these revelations‚ the ODNI has not yet submitted any records related to these meetings or any other related sessions‚ raising questions about their responsiveness and transparency in this matter. Australia’s eSafety Commissioner Complains About X Reinstating Censored Accounts

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties‚ subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Without considering the possibility that there were perhaps too many of them to begin with – Australia’s eSafety Commissioner is complaining in a new report that X‚ since the Musk takeover‚ has fired too many “safety and public policy personnel.” Another complaint from the commissioner’s “transparency report” is about previously censored accounts getting reinstated on the platform. The sum of the new policy‚ according to this Australian office – a government agency that’s “independent (but) supported by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA)” – is that X is now less capable of “tackling online hate.” It is no wonder that these accusations are made by eSafety‚ considering that it has been given powers to deal with what’s described as “cyberbullying‚ image-based abuse‚ and illegal and harmful online content.” Basing the report on information obtained from X‚ eSafety writes that 80 percent of “safety engineers” have been let go since October 2022 (the same figure applies to global public policy staff). Moderators working for X have fared somewhat better – still‚ over 50 percent of them have been fired. Considering that these employees were doing more than simply moderating – there have been many confirmed and very controversial cases on clear censorship against content and accounts – free speech supporters are likely fine to learn these precise numbers for the first time. However‚ the Australian eSafety is not‚ taking a negative stance toward the developments and warning that they have “implications for Australian users.” Commissioner Julie Inman Grant is quoted in the report as saying that‚ “It’s almost inevitable that any social media platform will become more toxic and less safe for users if you combine significant reductions to safety and local public policy personnel with thousands of account reinstatements of previously banned users.” About that last point – we now know that the number of banned accounts that have been allowed back on X is at this point in excess of 6‚100. But‚ the Australian office is not even sure if these figures concern X’s operations globally or just in Australia – although eSafety “understands” the latter to be the case‚ and draws this understanding from media saying earlier that a total of more than 62‚000 accounts have been reinstated. The commissioner is also displeased with the fact that X. did not find it necessary to place “additional scrutiny” on these accounts – banned under previous ownership‚ and its policies. Irish “Online Safety Code” Would Give Media Regulator Authority To Punish Video Platforms for Videos That “Indirectly Lead To Harm”

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties‚ subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Advocacy group Free Speech Ireland has issued a “civil rights alert” as the country’s authorities are working to introduce the Irish Online Safety Code – that seems to be‚ at least in part‚ inspired by the UK’s hugely controversial Online Safety Act. For example‚ although at first glance much smaller in scope‚ one point from the proposal is reminiscent of the Online Safety Act’s “legal but harmful” doctrine – it is punishing online platforms‚ specifically video ones‚ for content that “indirectly leads to harm.” One of the ways such harm would be interpreted is even if a video does not contain content of the kind – comments to it are branded as “hateful.” In other words‚ it’s a platform liability for third-party content. The regulation would treat it as “indissociable from user-generated videos.” One of the consequences is absurd – as Free Speech Ireland notes‚ to protect themselves‚ video platforms would have to “censor user content that is not even regarded as ‘harmful’ under the Code.” The rules‚ if adopted‚ would be enforced by a regulator known in Irish as Coimisiún na Meán (CnaM‚ “Media Commission”). Free Speech Ireland explains that CnaM has received the blessing to introduce the regulation both from the Irish government‚ and the EU. Age verification is also baked into the plans. The targeted sites‚ known as Video-Sharing Platform Services (VSPS)‚ include YouTube‚ X‚ and Facebook‚ and this particular regulation is supposed to be enforced only in Ireland. However‚ given that many large tech companies have their headquarters for Europe in Dublin‚ this could eventually complicate the situation and bring the same kind of censorship to the users in the US as well. Journalist Peter Caddle‚ who is based in Brussels‚ is cited as saying that it would “likely be easier to apply EU censorship rules to all users rather than to try to split the user base into EU and non-EU users.” There is still formal time to influence all this‚ as the process of introducing the Online Safety Code for video platforms is now in a public consultation stage‚ with the deadline for submissions being the end of this month. CnaM explains that after the conclusion of the consultation‚ the final version of the code will become part of Ireland’s “overall online safety framework‚ making digital services legally accountable for how they keep people safe online.” The rules will incorporate the EU Digital Services Act and the EU Terrorist Content Online Regulation‚ with the whole package to be enforced by CnaM. Reid Spews Fake News To Justify Absurd Genocide Charge Against Israel

Reid Spews Fake News To Justify Absurd Genocide Charge Against Israel

On Monday‚ Brian Stelter traveled to The ReidOut on MSNBC to declare “it is not biased or partisan to tug on the side of truth‚” as he argued the media needs to be willing to be more active in its denunciations of Donald Trump‚ but what about host Joy Reid? Because on Friday‚ Reid spread fake news in order to fawn over South Africa’s preposterous claim at the International Court of Justice that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians. During an interview with executive director of the misnamed Human Rights Watch‚ Tirana Hassan‚ Reid claimed “This is the deadliest conflict in modern history‚ more dead than even in places like Aleppo.”     This is why writers are required to use citations. According to Hamas’s fake numbers—fake because they do not distinguish civilian from combatant— 23‚469 Gazans have been killed since the start of the war. The United Nations‚ which loves Israel about as much as Joy Reid loves Donald Trump and cites Hamas’s numbers‚ lists five Syrian cities that experienced more civilian deaths than that during the civil war in that country than all of Gaza: Rural Damascus: 61‚800 Allepo: 51‚563 Deir ez-Zor: 38‚041 Idlib: 36‚536 Homs: 29‚983 With the exception of Damascus‚ all of those cities have lower populations than Gaza and in the case of the latter three‚ by a quite significant margin. Other estimates put the Aleppo figures closer to 30‚000‚ but that is still more in one city than Hamas's propaganda says have been killed in all of Gaza.  Reid‚ however‚ continued‚ “What is the significance of it being South Africa? Because there is a long history of the former government during Apartheid and the Israeli government back in those days‚ but what is the significance of it being South Africa‚ and‚ for instance‚ not an Arab country that's bringing this case?” South Africa may not be Arab‚ but it is still run by ideological hustlers trying to live off the reputation of their predecessors from over 30 years ago. To pretend it’s just some dispassionate observer of events driven by facts is also fake news. However‚ The ReidOut is where facts go to die‚ as Hassan replied “Well‚ I think it's‚ you know‚ it's important and it's a positive development that we see a country like South Africa being willing to take this matter up at the International Court of Justice. It's not the first time we have seen principled action from African states on atrocity crimes and crimes of such scale.” Hassan then mentioned The Gambia’s lawsuit against Myanmar as if that mattered before returning to South Africa‚ “And so I think that it is a development that this comes and I think because it's South Africa‚ it isn't an Arab country‚ indeed and it just shows you that when we are dealing with atrocity crimes when we're dealing with crimes‚ as serious as genocide that it consumes all countries.” South Africa won’t pursue genocide claims against their Russian and Chinese friends‚ ideological affinity for the Palestinians won’t allow it to bring them against Iran‚ but they will bring them in order to bail out Hamas. That‚ unlike Joy Reid‚ is not fake news.  Here is a transcript for the January 11 show: MSNBC The ReidOut 1/11/2024 7:58 PM ET JOY REID: This is the deadliest conflict in modern history‚ more dead than even in places like Aleppo. What is the significance of it being South Africa? Because there is a long history of the former government during Apartheid and the Israeli government back in those days‚ but what is the significance of it being South Africa‚ and‚ for instance‚ not an Arab country that's bringing this case?  TIRANA HASSAN: Well‚ I think it's‚ you know‚ it's important and it's a positive development that we see a country like South Africa being willing to take this matter up at the International Court of Justice. It's not the first time we have seen principled action from African states on atrocity crimes and crimes of such scale.  Actually‚ it was a few years ago that we saw Gambia‚ the small landlocked country of West Africa‚ bring forward a case of genocide in Myanmar in relation to the persecution and attacks on the Rohingya population. So‚ I think that there is precedent for a country with strong judicial and constitutional foundations to be able to elevate matters of international concern to international courts.  And so I think that it is a development that this comes and I think because it's South Africa‚ it isn't an Arab country‚ indeed and it just shows you that when we are dealing with atrocity crimes-- REID: Yeah HASSAN: --when we're dealing with crimes‚ as serious as genocide-- REID: Yeah. HASSAN: -- that it consumes all countries.

Jim Jordan Slaps DNI with Scathing Subpoena in Censorship Probe

The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed a major federal official in an ongoing quest to expose shady federal censorship actions. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) subpoenaed the Biden administration’s Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines‚ according to a Thursday press release. Jordan is seeking records related to federal censorship efforts between the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and private companies‚ including non-profits or third-party entities. ODNI has yet to provide the committee with a single such document‚ Jordan’s release explained. As Jordan said on Real America’s Voice’s Just the News‚ No Noise‚ “We know that this was an effort by Big Government‚ Big Tech‚ Big Academia‚ Big Media‚ all to censor … Americans’ First Amendment free speech rights‚ primarily targeting conservatives.” The House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government continue to investigate anti-First Amendment federal government activity. This investigation‚ the press release noted‚ includes an effort “to gauge the extent to which ODNI officials have coerced‚ pressured‚ worked with‚ or relied upon social media and other tech companies to censor speech.” Jordan said that other federal entities have provided some information to House Republicans‚ but not ODNI. “This is critically important‚” insisted Jordan‚ addressing Just the News host John Solomon. “As someone in the press‚ you understand‚ [in] the First Amendment you have five fundamental liberties.” He added‚ “The most important one of those five is your right to talk‚ because if you can’t talk‚ you can’t practice your faith” or exercise any of the other First Amendment rights. “Free speech is the most important‚” Jordan emphasized. “And the censorship‚ particularly in the social media area‚ which is now the town square‚ is particularly troubling.” The House Judiciary Committee explained that public information regarding the ODNI's Foreign Malign Influence Center — which assesses global threats and U.S. response‚ among other actions — indicates anti-free speech activity. The Judiciary Committee further declared that it possesses documentation proving ODNI personnel were invited to meetings that included representatives from both federal agencies and Big Tech companies. These were apparently often called “USG-Industry Sync” meetings‚ the press release clarified; and they possibly orchestrated censorship. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency and an equal footing for conservatives. If you have been censored‚ contact us at the Media Research Center contact form‚ and help us hold Big Tech accountable.
