The Tohuku Earthquake and Fukushima Nuclear Disaster

On March 11‚ 2011‚ the Tohoku Earthquake‚ measuring 9.1 in magnitude‚ struck off the northeast coast of Honshu along the Japan Trench. This event is also referred to as the Great Sendai Earthquake or the Great East Japan Earthquake and stands as the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in Japan. The earthquake’s main shock triggered a tsunami that impacted a 2000-kilometer stretch of coastline‚ leading to extensive damage and the meltdown of three nuclear cores at the Fukushima Daiichi reactors‚ marking a major nuclear incident. Aftermath of the earthquake The impact of the Tohoku Earthquake The impact of the massive earthquake‚ the most powerful in Japan’s history‚ resonated globally‚ affecting regions from the fjords of Norway to the ice sheets of Antarctica. Debris from the tsunami has been found on North American shores even years after the event. In Japan‚ the process of recovery from the catastrophe is ongoing. As of November 2021‚ approximately 39‚000 people were still displaced‚ with about 1‚000 of them residing in temporary accommodations‚ as reported by Japan’s Reconstruction Agency. The disaster led to the destruction of over 120‚000 buildings‚ with another 278‚000 severely damaged and 726‚000 partially damaged‚ according to the agency. The Japanese government estimates the direct financial losses from the disaster at around $199 billion (approximately 16.9 trillion yen). The World Bank’s estimates suggest that the total economic impact could rise to as much as $235 billion‚ potentially making it the most expensive natural disaster in recorded history. Thousands lost their lives As of December 2021‚ the official count of people who lost their lives stands at 19‚747‚ based on figures from the reconstruction agency. Additionally‚ over 2‚500 individuals are still listed as missing. Within an hour of the earthquake’s occurrence‚ the initial tsunami waves began striking the coast of Japan. These waves reached run-up heights of up to 128 feet (39 meters) in Miyako city and penetrated as far as 6 miles (10 kilometers) inland in Sendai. The Tsunami hits The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reports that the tsunami inundated an estimated area of around 217 square miles (561 square kilometers) within Japan. The force of the waves was so powerful that they overcame and demolished several tsunami seawalls designed for coastal protection. In some areas‚ even three-story buildings‚ where people had sought refuge‚ were destroyed by the surge. Near Oarai‚ the tsunami created a massive whirlpool offshore‚ an event that was recorded on video. Fukushima nuclear accident The earthquake triggered the nuclear plant’s systems to detect the seismic activity and automatically shut down the reactors. Following the shutdown‚ emergency diesel generators activated to continue circulating coolant around the cores‚ which remain extremely hot even after shutdown. However‚ the situation escalated when a tsunami wave exceeding 14 meters (46 feet) struck Fukushima. The wave breached the protective sea wall and flooded the plant‚ disabling the emergency generators. This led to nuclear meltdowns and several hydrogen explosions. Efforts to restore power were immediate‚ but in the ensuing days‚ the nuclear fuel in three reactors overheated‚ leading to partial melting of the cores‚ a scenario known as a nuclear meltdown. Additionally‚ the plant experienced several chemical explosions‚ causing significant damage to its structures. Radioactive materials began to leak into the atmosphere and the Pacific Ocean. This resulted in evacuations and the establishment of an expanding exclusion zone‚ leading to over 150‚000 people being evacuated from the vicinity. More than ten years later‚ this exclusion zone is still enforced‚ with many residents yet to return. The cleanup and decontamination efforts are projected to take up to 40 years‚ costing Japan trillions of yen. The Fukushima Disaster has been designated as a level seven event by the International Atomic Energy Agency‚ the most severe rating. It is only the second incident to be classified at this level‚ following the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. Japanese Government Response to the earthquake Following the tsunami‚ Japan’s Meteorological Agency faced criticism for its initial tsunami warning‚ which underestimated the wave’s magnitude. A study by the Japanese government‚ published in August 2011‚ revealed that in areas like Miyagi and Fukushima‚ only about 58% of people sought higher ground immediately after the earthquake. The study also found that many individuals either downplayed their personal risk or expected the tsunami to be similar to smaller ones they had experienced before. Post-disaster‚ scientists from across the globe converged in Japan to conduct extensive research. Researchers embarked on offshore expeditions‚ deploying sensors along the fault line to analyze the forces behind the earthquake. Teams also investigated tsunami deposits to gain insights into the ancient sedimentary records of these destructive waves. Earthquake engineers scrutinized the damage‚ searching for ways to enhance building resilience against earthquakes and tsunamis. The Effects Worldwide The tsunami waves generated by the earthquake extended across the Pacific Ocean‚ impacting regions such as Alaska‚ Hawaii‚ and Chile. In Chile‚ over 11‚000 miles (17‚000 km) away‚ the tsunami waves measured approximately 6.6 feet (2 meters) in height upon reaching the coastline‚ as reported by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. An estimated 5 million tons of debris were swept into the ocean‚ according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency. This debris included Japanese docks‚ ships‚ and various household items‚ many of which have washed up on the shores of the United States and Canada in the years following the tsunami. In 2012‚ the U.S. Coast Guard targeted and sank the abandoned 164-foot vessel Ryou-Un Maru in the Gulf of Alaska‚ a ship that had begun its voyage in Hokkaido‚ Japan. The post The Tohuku Earthquake and Fukushima Nuclear Disaster first appeared on History Defined.

Who Won the Battle of Antietam?

The South had a problem in 1862. Despite skilled battlefield leadership‚ the Confederacy had far less soldiers and industrial output than the United States. In a war of attrition‚ the South would eventually be ground under by the North’s massive industry and larger‚ immigration-boosted population. But could a surprise attack into the North itself be a game-changer to bluff the Union into abandoning its war to prevent Confederate secession?   Victory Goes to the Union…Sort Of An image of Union forces carrying the United States flag during the Battle of Antietam‚ via The Heritage Post   The American Civil War was fought as a largely defensive war by the Confederacy. A popular misconception‚ perhaps due to the historical fiction genre‚ is that the South could have won an outright military victory in the conflict. Lacking the manpower and industrial output of the North‚ the South simply hoped to hold off invasion long enough for the United States to allow the Confederacy to continue to exist. However‚ the first year of the war revealed more political willpower from the North than was expected; the United States was willing to fight to preserve the Union!   On September 17‚ 1862‚ the Union won a relative military victory in Washington County‚ Maryland‚ near the small town of Sharpsburg. The Confederacy‚ under General Robert E. Lee‚ had invaded the Union state of Maryland‚ adjacent to the Confederate capital of Richmond‚ Virginia‚ in hopes of sparking a panic. Instead‚ Lee was forced to withdraw back to Virginia. However‚ attempts to pursue Lee’s retreating army were defeated. The South could arguably claim victory in that it invaded the North and inflicted more casualties on the Union army than it received in return‚ but the North could also claim victory in that it repelled the invasion and inflicted almost as many casualties on an opponent that could scarcely afford them.   Timeline of the Battle of Antietam A map and time of important American Civil War battles during the second year of the conflict (April 1862 – April 1863)‚ including the Battle of Antietam‚ via the Library of Congress   On September 3‚ 1862‚ the Confederacy began to launch an unprecedented attack into Union territory‚ urged by Confederate President Jefferson Davis. Before that time‚ the South had fought an entirely defensive war.   By September 6‚ Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson had crossed the Potomac River into Maryland‚ engaging in a de facto invasion of the North. Lee proclaimed that his occupation of Maryland was not hostile and would give citizens of the border state a chance to decide their own fate‚ referencing the Union’s suspension of habeas corpus (right to appeal) for arrested Marylanders.   A map showing movements of Union and Confederate armies during the Battle of Antietam in September 1862‚ via the National Park Service   During this time‚ beginning on September 5‚ the Union army led by General George McClellan began moving to meet the invaders.   On September 13‚ the Confederates occupied a number of Maryland towns‚ but on September 14‚ the Union army arrived in force.   The next day‚ Robert E. Lee consolidated his forces at Sharpsburg‚ where he was joined by “Stonewall” Jackson on September 16.   The Battle of Antietam began at dawn on September 17 and lasted for approximately 12 hours. When it grew dark that evening‚ Lee began to withdraw across the Potomac River‚ returning to Virginia.   By mid-day on September 19‚ Confederate forces were all back in Virginia (Confederate territory).   What Caused the Battle of Antietam? A photograph of Union general Ulysses S. Grant‚ whose April 1862 victory in the Battle of Shiloh led to the Confederacy’s gamble of invading the North‚ via the National Geographic Society   The South’s unsuccessful invasion of the North in September 1862 was prompted by a Union victory in the Battle of Shiloh five months earlier. Shiloh had been the bloodiest battle in the war to date and saw a larger Union army led by new commander Ulysses S. Grant defeat a smaller Confederate force led by Albert Sidney Johnston. After Johnston died in battle on April 6‚ he was replaced by General Pierre G.T. Beauregard‚ who eventually retreated on April 7 when he realized that he was heavily outnumbered by Union troops. Grant’s willingness to fight aggressively and suffer high casualties signaled that the North could not be simply held off forever.   The South wagered that it could frighten the United States into an armistice by invading the North and causing panic. Simultaneously‚ both Confederate General Robert E. Lee and President Jefferson Davis believed that a decisive military victory during an invasion of the North would finally win over British and French political (and hopefully military) support for the Confederacy.   At the outset of the American Civil War‚ both European powers imported lots of cotton from the American South‚ and the Confederacy hoped that cotton diplomacy – and a chance to weaken the United States as a potential rival power – would lead to diplomatic recognition by France and Britain. During the war‚ France took advantage of Americans’ preoccupation to seize Mexico as a colony‚ sparking a second Mexican War of Independence.   Why Was the Battle of Antietam Significant? A painting of the infamous Battle of Antietam‚ which remains the bloodiest single day in US history‚ via the Antietam Institute   The Battle of Antietam replaced the Battle of Shiloh as the single bloodiest day in US history‚ with both sides accumulating some 23‚000 casualties on September 17‚ 1862. Aside from its intensity‚ the battle was also significant due to the change in Confederate strategy: it would fight aggressively to sap the North’s morale and political will. The Confederacy was also taking significant risks‚ given its relative lack of manpower and industrial output compared to the Union‚ to win foreign recognition. A decisive Confederate victory at Antietam may have convinced Britain and France that the South could win the war and was a worthy investment of military aid.   However‚ the Confederacy lost the battle‚ marking it as one of the turning points in the war. The repulsion of the invasion increased morale in the North‚ making it less likely that the South could simply wear down the Union’s political will. The victory gave a political opening to US President Abraham Lincoln‚ who had been waiting for such a victory to issue his now-famous Emancipation Proclamation. With a Union victory at Antietam signaling strength‚ Lincoln was able to declare that all enslaved people in Confederate territory would be free as of January 1‚ 1863. This marked a more aggressive stance by the Union‚ which had thus far not addressed slavery as part of the war.   5 Facts About the Battle of Antietam A photograph from Alexander Gardner‚ whose photographs from the Battle of Antietam shattered public misconception of war as glorious‚ via The Metropolitan Museum of Art‚ New York   1. Casualties Although victorious‚ the Union suffered over 2‚100 soldiers killed compared to the Confederacy’s 1‚500. When including the 9‚500 wounded Union soldiers and 7‚800 wounded Confederates‚ plus about 1‚000 missing or captured on both sides‚ this amounted to almost 23‚000 casualties. Despite having suffered more casualties‚ Union General George McClellan was criticized after the Battle of Antietam for not being more aggressive and pursuing a retreating Robert E. Lee.   2. Commanders The Union army was led by George B. McClellan‚ a Pennsylvanian from an upper-class family. Like many of his cohorts‚ McClellan was a West Point graduate and a veteran of the Mexican-American War. From working in Illinois during the 1850s on the railroad‚ he came to know a local politician named Abraham Lincoln. Despite having known Lincoln before the war‚ McClellan faced criticism after the Battle of Antietam for being excessively slow and cautious‚ resulting in his replacement by General Ambrose Burnside that autumn.   Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson were the two Confederate commanders in the battle‚ with Lee as commander-in-chief of the Army of Northern Virginia. This was the Confederacy’s most powerful army‚ which stood between the Confederate capital city of Richmond‚ Virginia and the US capital of Washington DC. Both Lee and Jackson were‚ like McClellan‚ West Point graduates who had served in the Mexican-American War. Unlike McClellan‚ both Southerners were renowned for their tactical skill and aggression in warfare. While McClellan and Lee survived the war‚ “Stonewall” Jackson died of pneumonia one week after the Battle of Chancellorsville in May 1863.   3. Number of Forces Involved McClellan commanded some 87‚000 Union troops‚ far outnumbering Lee’s 45‚000 Confederate soldiers. Given McClellan’s overwhelming advantage in manpower‚ his refusal to pursue Lee during the Confederate retreat across the Potomac after September 17 upset US President Abraham Lincoln. However‚ Lee was able to defeat an army almost twice his size‚ which he did the following spring in the Battle of Chancellorsville‚ where 57‚000 Confederates won a surprise victory over almost 100‚000 Union troops.   4. Visiting Antietam Antietam National Battlefield has been well-equipped to handle tourists since 1963. The visitor center is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on most days. There is also a museum with a gift shop‚ the ability to listen to battlefield tours narrated by park rangers and take a self-guided automobile tour on an eight-and-a-half mile road with eleven stops. Visitors who want to spend ample time at the battlefield can stay in nearby historic Sharpsburg‚ Maryland.   5. Trivia: Famous Photography Shatters War Myths With technology finally making cameras (relatively) transportable‚ the American Civil War became the first military conflict to be significantly photographed. This largely began‚ however‚ with the Battle of Antietam. Photographer Alexander Gardner became one of the first to take photos of the dead on the battlefield. His work immediately after the Battle of Antietam was credited with bringing Americans the sobering reality of war for the first time. In the future‚ fewer would mindlessly accept political leaders pushing the nation into armed conflict.   The Aftermath of the Battle of Antietam An image of the Emancipation Proclamation text superimposed over freed enslaved people (left) and Union President Abraham Lincoln and his administration (right)‚ via the Sutherland Institute   Militarily‚ the battle was largely a draw‚ with both sides able to argue that a victory had been won. Politically‚ however‚ the Union won a tremendous victory. The Confederacy never did receive support from Britain and France. The Emancipation Proclamation‚ issued on September 22 by Abraham Lincoln‚ galvanized European public support against the slave-owning Confederacy. Both Britain and France had already abolished slavery‚ making it politically risky to publicly support the South. Additionally‚ both powers also traded with the North and did not want to lose trade with the industrialized Union by formally supporting the agricultural Confederacy.   The Civil War became more aggressive after Antietam‚ likely due to the Confederacy realizing that lack of foreign support meant it was on borrowed time. In 1863‚ Robert E. Lee would again decide to invade the North after a series of victories. For the Union‚ the Emancipation Proclamation gave a moral cause for fighting aggressively to win the war. Instead of simply trying to prevent Southern states from seceding‚ the Union was now fighting to abolish a moral and ethical wrong. This would make it more difficult for the South to wear down the North’s willpower and secure any sort of armistice.

BlackRock Announces Plans To Lay Off Over 600 Employees

Black Rock‚ which is considered the world’s largest money management firm‚ has announced it plans to lay off over 600 employees. The layoffs have not been announced publicly by the firm but have already been declared through internal messages within the Black Rock organization. The firm previously made layoffs around the same time period last year. In 2023 the firm shares dropped by -6%‚ and in 2022‚ the firm saw a 22% decrease in shares. The job cuts of around 600 employees‚ which have yet to be reported‚ are being described internally as routine‚ according to a source familiar. Last year‚ BlackRock did a similar round of layoffs gauged on employee performance metrics‚ the source added. Shares of BlackRock rebounded in 2023‚ up 6 percent after falling 21 percent in 2022. New customer money into BlackRock’s solid Exchange Traded Fund business exploded last year with $187 billion of inflows into the products that follow a basket of securities and trade like stocks on major exchanges. On Wednesday‚ BlackRock is expecting approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission for its new Bitcoin “spot” ETF — the first time a crypto investment product tracking the daily price of the world’s most popular digital coin will be approved by securities regulators to trade on a public stock market. Other asset managers are also expecting approval for their ETFs. JUST IN: BlackRock‚ the world’s largest money management firm‚ announces they’re laying off over 600+ employees. No‚ I’m not voting for him over Trump… No‚ I still don’t fully trust he’s not Obama 2.0 with a silver-tongue… But I am moving on that point‚ and I feel like Vivek is too. I feel like he was inauthentic when he launched his campaign‚ saying all the right things without perhaps fully believing in all of them. But as he’s progressed in his campaign and seen firsthand what the Deep State will do and is doing‚ I actually believe Vivek is almost being “red pilled” as the campaign goes on‚ and he’s evolving with that knowledge. I still don’t fully trust him‚ but I trust him more than I used to — and I trust him an infinite amount more than Nikki Haley and Ronald DeSantis combined. My list is Donald J. Trump‚ then Kari Lake‚ and after those two I do have Vivek somewhere in the mix next. I think it would be wonderful to have Vivek in the Trump/Lake White House…. Appoint him as Czar of dismantling the Administrative State and just let him chop it up into a thousand pieces…but under Trump/Lake. Then we do 8 years of President Kari Lake after 2028. Then I’d be open to Vivek next. Anyway‚ I digress….back to the topic at hand. As Exhibit “A” of what I’m talking about above‚ here is Vivek going after the three headed beast of Blackrock‚ State Street and Vanguard — a topic we’ve covered here many times before. Vivek is spot on here…. Here’s what he posted: BlackRock‚ State Street‚ and Vanguard represent the most powerful cartel in human history: they’re the largest shareholders of nearly every major public company (even of each other). They use your own money to create a country that you never voted for. As President I will cut off the real hand that guides the ESG movement – not the invisible hand of the free market‚ but the invisible fist of government itself. Watch: BlackRock‚ State Street‚ and Vanguard represent the most powerful cartel in human history: they’re the largest shareholders of nearly every major public company (even of each other). They use your own money to create a country that you never voted for. As President I will cut off… pic.twitter.com/GzHghNuAlS — Vivek Ramaswamy (@VivekGRamaswamy) December 21‚ 2023 He ain’t wrong! In fact‚ here’s what we’ve reported here previously — see if you can notice any overlapping ideas with what Vivek just told you: THIS Is How We Defeat BlackRock‚ Vanguard and the ESG-DEI Nightmare — Can I Count On You? This may be one of the most important articles I’ve published in a while… Let me explain why. I’ll start at the beginning and I think you’ll really get it by the time I hit the end. Ok‚ so why do we even care about BlackRock‚ Vanguard and State Street in the first place? And who are they? They are the three largest Asset Managers in the world. Essentially‚ and this is no exaggeration‚ they are the people pulling the strings in the background. These are the “Masters of the Universe”. Larry Fink runs BlackRock and he is almost certainly more powerful than the President of the United States. That’s not an exaggeration‚ and I’ll explain to you why in just a minute. First‚ let’s start here with something called the “Illusion of Choice”. Take a look at the image below…. You THINK there are all of these different brands to choose from out there‚ but they are really owned by TEN big corporations. That’s true in food: And it’s also true in Media. Same exact thing…. You think there are a bunch of Newspapers‚ TV channels‚ radio stations‚ websites — but in 2011‚ SIX corporations controlled 90% of it all. Ok‚ but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Because as bad as that is‚ here’s the part most people don’t tell you. It’s actually way worse than that because there’s another whole layer on the pyramid at the very top that they never tell you about. In fact‚ I bet most people reading this have never heard of BlackRock‚ Vanguard or State Street — or if you’ve heard about them you probably don’t know exactly what they do. Or if you DO know exactly what they do‚ I bet you may never have realized why it’s a giant problem. So let me explain it to you in real simple terms‚ and I think it will make a lot of sense. Most people are paid every two weeks‚ usually on a Friday. And most people have been coached to put 6% of their salary into their 401k and/or some other amount up to the employer match. Great‚ right? Well‚ here’s what’s actually happening. Most of those funds go into ETFs and other investment vehicles managed by‚ you guessed it‚ BlackRock‚ Vanguard and State Street. So they’ve built a system where millions upon millions of dollars are flowing in to them via YOUR 401k’s every two weeks. You bust your butt at work and get a paycheck and you’ve been coached to give 6% of that check to these “Big 3”. The Big 3 then get bigger and bigger and bigger every Friday! What a great system‚ right? For them it is. And what are you told about it? Almost nothing. In fact‚ what do they tell you? When you start your job‚ they tell you to set up your 401k auto-donation and then “forget about it”. Isn’t that what they say? Don’t even think about it! The money will be there for you when you turn 65‚ but don’t think about it until then. And DEFINITELY don’t ask who’s managing it or what they’re doing with it. My friend Patrick Bet-David has been all over this‚ breaking the story wide open. He was on Joe Rogan last week and he dropped this bombshell…. You think those charts above are bad? That’s not even the worst of it. Of the TEN food corporations and SIX media corporations‚ the control and ownership is actually way more centralized than that. Remember all that money coming in every Friday from YOUR paychecks? That goes to the Big 3‚ and they use it to own all of those companies. So it’s not even the Big 10 Food Companies or the Big 6 Media companies….it’s just the Big 3. And of the Big 3 it’s really mostly the Big 2. Many believe the Big 2 may eventually take over State Street. For those who like stats‚ here’s the stat for you:  88% of the companies in the S&;P 500 has one of the Big 3 as that company’s biggest shareholder. PBD breaks it all down here: So…why do I tell you all of that? Because when you centralize ownership and control‚ bad things start to happen. What starts to happen is the Big 3 and their “affiliates” create things like ESG and DEI scores. ESG stands for Environmental‚ Social and Governance and it’s a score they give to companies to “keep them in line.” So is DEI‚ which stands for Diversity‚ Equity and Inclusion. Don’t follow enough Far-Left “social” trends — not promoting enough Trans agenda or LGBTQ agenda or Climate Change agenda (i.e. Bud Light‚ Target‚ etc.)? Then your score takes a huge hit! That really explains a lot‚ doesn’t it? Because I can’t tell you how many conversations I’ve been in with people who say: this stuff doesn’t make any sense!  Why are these companies doing this?  Why would Bud Light TANK their company?  They know it’s not going to play well to the people who buy their beer? THAT. DOESN’T. MAKE. SENSE! And you’d be right to say that‚ but only if you assume Bud Light is trying to please the people who buy its products. What if Bud Light had a higher master? What if Bud Light was more concerned with its ESG score? What if all the Executives at Bud Light knew that if their ESG score dropped too low‚ then their #1 Shareholder (the Big 3) would fire them and replace them with someone who would be “ESG Friendly”? What if you’re pulling in a total comp package as a top exec in the $20 million range and your choice is to push the Far Left agenda and push LGBTQ or know that you’ll be fired and replaced in a year by the Big 3? What do you do? NOW what decision would you make? Now is it suddenly making a lot more sense? And there you have it. Now I think you get it. Now suddenly every single corporation turning their logo to the Rainbow Flag in June suddenly makes a lot of sense. Once again‚ here is my friend PBD explaining ESG in much more detail: Now let’s recap… Do you see how insidious this is? A big chunk of YOUR paycheck goes to prop up the Big 3 every single Friday‚ they get bigger and stronger‚ they use that money to buy all the major corporations in the world‚ and then they force them to do things you would NEVER support. Sick‚ right? Now let me bring this in for a landing… And here’s why I’m telling you about this. Because we don’t just report the news here and then say “good luck”! No‚ we give you solutions! Now back to my Mission and my solution. I figured I would eventually need to build a Parallel-Economy from the ground up. I knew that would be a ton of work. So it was on my back-burner. In fact‚ it had been there on my back-burner since about 2016. Until suddenly‚ in January of 2023‚ I connected with a company I had never heard of before….but they’re MASSIVE. They’ve been in business for over 35 years and they’re a VERY pro-American‚ pro-Liberty‚ pro-Conservative values company! They’re an American based‚ Made-In-America‚ warehoused-in-America‚ shipped-from-America company! In fact‚ they’re the last private‚ family-owned‚ pro-American consumer goods company left in America NOT owned by those 11 companies I showed you above. Oh‚ and what if I told you the products are BETTER and often CHEAPER than what you get from those 11 companies above? Yes‚ for real. And their founder was once placed on Barack Hussein Obama’s list of the Top 10 most “Dangerous Conservatives” in America? (a list I one day hope to make myself!) Once I learned all of that‚ I knew I no longer had to build this from the ground-up by myself‚ I simply needed to partner with this awesome company to help them get the word out. So on top of being the last Family-owned major consumer goods manufacturer not part of the Big-11‚ comparable or often lower prices‚ supporting American jobs and families‚ here’s the part that ties in to the main point of this article”. Non-toxic products! That means no Arsenic‚ Cadmium‚ and Lead in their Spices! Which really‚ if we’re being honest‚ should be the bare minimum for everyone‚ right? Stunning I even have to tell you that‚ but I guess I do! But it also means no Red Dye 40 or flouride in the toothpaste or chemicals in the cleaning products‚ or Deet in the mosquito repellant. What novel concepts‚ right? Oh‚ and Black Angus beef‚ pasture raised on hundreds of thousands of acres. Free roaming with plenty of open air between all the cattle. Grass fed. No hormones and no antibiotics.  Never! Oh‚ and it’s CHEAPER than Omaha Steaks! But that’s a whole other topic! Sound good to anyone else? Me too! The reason you’ve never heard of them is because it’s Invite Only. I can get you in‚ but you can’t just go sign up. They only want people on the same mission to join and they’re happy to say “no” to the Far-Left Libs! They’ve been doing it for 37 years and it’s been working great. Everyone gets a personal‚ white glove‚ concierge customer service support to get you access to everything they have. Imagine that! No call centers from India.
