How to get Penetration Kills in Modern Warfare 3

Prepare yourself‚ you will need to rely on your instincts and‚ well‚ walls. Huh. Here is how to get penetration kills in Modern Warfare 3. Modern Warfare 3: How to get Penetration Kills Out of all the weapons and camo challenges that appear during your Modern Warfare 3 adventure‚ penetration kills are perhaps the most annoying and difficult to get. Not because you need to do something particularly uncommon – you have probably landed one of these before – but the frequency or likeness of it and the placing of your Operator makes this a hard thing to do. To perform penetration kills in Modern Warfare 3‚ you will need to kill enemies after shooting through a wall – most commonly known as a wallbang. Now‚ before you install a wallhack and get yourself banned from playing the game forever‚ there are some things you can try to do. First of all‚ firing through fences will be the best way you will be able to shoot your enemies. While one could theorize t...

Hire Teachers Based on Subject-Matter Expertise‚ Not Certification

Twenty years ago‚ when I was hiring teachers for the private K-12 school I founded‚ I knew better than to recruit certified teachers. From my previous work as a college history professor‚ I know that the people least prepared to teach a subject are education majors. Requiring an embarrassingly low minimum of credit hours to be certified to teach a subject—just four courses in some states—education majors encounter the least substance and rigor‚ but the maximum of racialist theory and left-wing ideology in their program. If my new school was going to succeed in teaching at the highest levels‚ then I would have to find subject-matter experts with a heart for teaching. That’s what we did—and what thousands of schools across this country do‚ because of the humiliating‚ yet expensive‚ reality of teacher licensure. But don’t just take my word for it; the evidence is unequivocal: Traditional public schools have an abysmal education record. Not only are scores as low as ever on the National Assessment of Educational Progress‚ but internationally‚ our math scores remain poor and uncompetitive. Much of the blame lies with teacher education programs and state certification mandates that bolster education schools’ enrollment and subject teachers to radical activist ideology.  Education schools are besieged by critical race theory and identity politics‚ stereotyping everyone as part of oppressor groups or oppressed groups. They prefer ethnic studies and historical studies that denigrate America or anything patriotic.  And while states have been offering alternative routes to teacher certification‚ the vast majority of teachers are educated and certified through university-based colleges of education. This ought to stop.  States should end requirements for prospective teachers to be certified‚ and instead empower schools to hire based on subject-matter expertise. At the same time‚ on the national level‚ we can take the Trump administration’s reform of college accreditation as a model.  In higher education‚ accreditation is a de facto federal system of regulating the quality of colleges. And it has a poor track record of quality assurance‚ a problem exacerbated by a cartel-like group of regional accreditors that split the country into regions and conspired not to encroach on each other’s territory. There was no competition‚ so accreditors began abusing their power‚ which included requiring leftist ideology in their standards. The Trump administration changed all that. Suddenly‚ any college could choose any accreditor‚ and states began introducing market competition into accreditation.  The next administration could follow this model for teacher certification.  Congress should also rescind the federal charter of the National Education Association. It’s a teachers union that voted to promote critical race theory nationwide and advocated to keep schools closed during the pandemic.  The organization’s charter should be reviewed and revoked. In its place‚ Congress could shift that charter to one of the many private‚ parent-focused groups fighting to right the ship in K-12 education.  Meanwhile‚ in states that lack the political support to eliminate teacher certification altogether‚ states should recognize or charter additional private organizations to certify which teachers are ready to teach‚ outside of the broken system of college of education certification.  Introducing market competition in the validation of teachers will have untold benefits. Some certifiers may focus on patriotism‚ while others may focus on classical education or the ability to train students for the workforce‚ science careers‚ music careers‚ or a variety of life pursuits.  American teachers are almost as vital as parents in educating the next generation. Let’s stop facilitating anti-American activism and instead ensure we recognize the teachers who are best for America. Originally published by The Detroit News Have an opinion about this article? At Southern Border‚ Cruz Hails Bipartisan Win to ‘Bring Manufacturing Back From China’

Sen. Ted Cruz is celebrating the passage of bipartisan legislation that stands to decrease America’s manufacturing dependence on China.   The legislation cuts bureaucratic red tape to build or expand four bridges across the Rio Grande in Texas and “benefits national security‚ because it makes it easier to bring manufacturing back from China‚ either to the United States or to Mexico‚” Cruz‚ R-Texas‚ told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Friday.   Four new or expanded Texas bridges across the Rio Grande—one in Brownsville‚ one in Eagle Pass and two in Laredo—are “enormously consequential for trade and commerce‚” Cruz said‚ explaining that truck drivers face significant backups to get across the current bridges‚ creating backlogs and slowing goods from reaching consumers.   “Texas and Mexico do about $800 billion in trade and commerce going back and forth‚” Cruz said‚ adding that “we need new infrastructure to facilitate that trade and commerce.”   Cruz inserted the legislation into the Senate’s National Defense Authorization Act‚ which was signed into law in December. The Texas senator said the new bridges will enable America’s “delinking from China‚” which “is emphatically in our national security interests.”   According to Glenn Hamer‚ president of the Texas Association of Business‚ the bill is “The most significant effort to increase commerce since the passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement in 2020.”  Cruz’s bill received bipartisan support‚ and the senator visited the World Trade Bridge in Laredo‚ Texas‚ on Thursday and held a press conference alongside Rep. Henry Cuellar‚ D-Texas. “If you want to see bipartisanship‚ this is the type of bipartisan work that gets the job done‚” Cuellar said.   LIVE NOW: Sen. Ted Cruz‚ Rep. Henry Cuellar give update from Laredo on border crisis. https://t.co/ogbLnRNdl0 https://t.co/5X5rS7d25M— FOX SA (@KABBFOX29) January 4‚ 2024 “Bridges serve as economic lifelines for our border communities‚ facilitating international trade‚ commerce and tourism‚” Cuellar said in a statement. “However‚ drivers and truckers often report lines stretching for miles to cross‚ delaying the transportation of goods and costing our economy millions. We need to expand our ports of entry‚ and these changes to the presidential permitting process will ensure that proposed construction projects at the World Trade Bridge‚ Laredo-Colombia Solidarity International Bridge‚ and other bridges along the U.S.-Mexico border avoid unnecessary construction delays.”  Sen. John Cornyn‚ R-Texas; Rep. Vicente Gonzalez‚ D-Texas; and Reps. Tony Gonzales and Monica de la Cruz‚ both R-Texas‚ joined Cuellar and Cruz to pass the legislation and streamline the permitting process for the new bridges.   “This bill that was signed into law will benefit Texas farmers‚ ranchers‚ Texas small businesses‚ Texas manufacturers‚ consumers across the country who will see lower prices‚” Cruz said.   Cruz’s visit to Texas’ border with Mexico came as illegal border crossings have reached record highs. Cruz is a vocal advocate for border security and in September introduced the Senate version of the House-passed border security bill known as Secure the Border Act of 2023‚ or HR 2.   “I think there is no higher priority than for Congress to do something about the absolute catastrophe that is unfolding in our southern border‚” Cruz told The Daily Signal.   The Senate has yet to take up and vote on the bill Cruz introduced‚ which would resume border wall construction‚ increase the number of Border Patrol agents‚ and end many of the policies that have allowed the Biden administration to mass-parole illegal aliens into the country.   “I think we should use every lever we have to fight to secure the border‚” Cruz said‚ “and the purse strings is one of the most important levers that Congress has. I think we should drag the Democrats kicking and screaming to finally address this crisis.”   Another Texas GOP lawmaker‚ Rep. Chip Roy‚ says Republicans should not fund the government until the border is secure. Asked if he would consider committing to not voting for any government spending until there is real and substantial action taken to secure the border‚ Cruz said‚ “I think we should use every lever we have. I’m just not going to commit to any particular tactical step‚ but it is an absolute crisis‚ and we should use every lever we have to force action on it.”   On Wednesday‚ the House Homeland Security Committee announced it will formally move forward with impeachment proceedings against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas‚ citing the “unprecedented crisis at the Southwest border.”   Cruz says he has been calling for Mayorkas’ impeachment for two years.   “This should have been done a long time ago‚” Cruz said. “Mayorkas is directly responsible for the invasion that is unfolding at our southern border.”   U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered a record more than 302‚000 illegal immigrants at or between ports of entry in December. In November‚ Customs and Border Protection said‚ agents encountered 242‚418 illegal aliens at the southern border.   “Alejandro Mayorkas does not view his job as trying to stop illegal immigration‚” Cruz said. “He views his job as trying to increase illegal immigration. When Joe Biden says he wants Congress to fund ‘border security‚’ what he means is he wants more money to hire more personnel to process illegal immigrants faster.”   According to the senator‚ the Biden administration thinks “every illegal immigrant coming into this country will be a future Democrat voter.”   Have an opinion about this article? Split Decision: Networks Mention But Downplay Bill Clinton in Epstein Document Dumps

Despite what some might have predicted‚ the major broadcast networks have been covering the first two dumps of previously-sealed documents relating to serial sexual criminal Jeffrey Epstein’s life of ruin and escapades alongside the rich and famous. As for how they did between Thursday morning and Friday morning‚ it was truly a mixed bag for ABC‚ CBS‚ and NBC in terms of highlighting former President Bill Clinton’s ties to Epstein. ABC’s flagship newscasts — Good Morning America (GMA) and World News Tonight — both refused to mention a disturbing claim leveled by former Epstein associate Johanna Sjoberg that Epstein had once told her that “Clinton likes them young‚ referring to girls.”     Instead‚ senior investigative correspondent Aaron Katersky downplayed the documents on GMA as containing information that’s “been known before” aside from “new details about an old groping accusation against Prince Andrew and an effort to depose former President Bill Clinton.” Katersky added (which was repeated in the show’s second hour) (click “expand”): This morning‚ newly unsealed court records reinforce the association of presidents — even the king of pop — with Jeffrey Epstein‚ the sex offender who killed himself in a New York City jail while awaiting trial. The documents were part of a long-settled definition lawsuit‚ one of Epstein’s victims — Virginia Giuffre — filed against his former paramore‚ Ghislaine Maxwell. The documents include arguments by Giuffre’s lawyers who sought testimony from former President Bill Clinton‚ calling him “a key person who can provide information about his close relationship with [Maxwell] and Mr. Epstein.”  Giuffre never accused Clinton of wrongdoing‚ but claimed she had dinner with him on Epstein's private Caribbean island. Maxwell called that a lie and the documents show her attorney said‚ “each and every part of plaintiff's claims regarding President Clinton has conclusively been proven false.” Clinton was never deposed. After Epstein’s arrest‚ his spokesman denied Clinton was ever on the island. After Giuffre’s allegations became public‚ the documents also show Epstein emailed Maxwell‚ seeming to offer advice. “You can issue a reward to any of Virginia's friends‚ [acquaintances]‚ or family to come forward and help prove her allegations are false. The strongest is that Clinton dinner.” He returned for World News Tonight‚ but both he and anchor David Muir only invoked Clinton as part of a wider list of celebrities in the documents.  That said‚ he was the only one to mention documents revealed Epstein victim Virginia “Giuffre made allegations claiming Maxwell and Epstein directed her to have sex with powerful men‚ like former Senator George Mitchell‚ former Ambassador Bill Richardson‚” and “Hyatt hotel chairman Tom Pritzker‚” but “[a]ll of the men have denied it.” Katersky somewhat redeemed himself on Friday’s GMA as he was the only one to bring up Clinton and how the second dump contained an allegation he threatened Vanity Fair to not publish stories critical of Epstein (click “expand”): Overnight‚ more Jeffrey Epstein-related documents were unsealed following a first batch that included names of famous people associated in some way with Epstein‚ including the actor Kevin Spacey‚ magician David Copperfield‚ supermodel Naomi Campbell‚ and former Presidents Trump and Clinton‚ none accused of wrongdoing. (....) In a 2011 e-mail‚ Giuffre talked to Churcher about selling this now notorious photo of her and Prince Andrew to Vanity Fair: “What do you think a good price to sell this to VF should be?” The same year‚ Giuffre made the unsubstantiated claim former President Clinton had previously threatened the magazine over a story about Epstein: “Clinton walked into VF and threatened for them not to sex-trafficking articles about his good friend‚ J.E.” Those involved have long denied it‚ and Vanity Fair’s editor at the time told The Telegraph‚ “This categorically did not happen.” Friday’s CBS Mornings ignored the Epstein documents completely‚ but had full stories on Thursday’s CBS Mornings and CBS Evening News. On both‚ correspondent Nancy Chen spent a few sentences on Clinton‚ including the “young...girls” claim. NBC’s Today and Nightly News had senior Justice correspondent Laura Jarrett (who’s the daughter of Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett) on the case and she admirably brought up Clinton Thursday‚ but not Friday. She also made sure to bring up claims about Trump being an Epstein acquaintance (click “expand”): JARRETT [on Today]: The more than 900 pages of materials previously deemed confidential includes references to familiar names. from politicians to celebrities‚ many of them previously linked to Epstein before his suicide in 2019. Former President Bill Clinton and Donald Trump mentioned in deposition transcripts — both have denied any wrongdoing. In one‚ a woman who once worked for Epstein recalled he spoke to her about Clinton‚ saying Epstein told her one time‚ “that Clinton likes them young‚ referring to girls.” A spokesman for Clinton referred NBC News to a prior statement from 2019‚ saying he had not spoken to Epstein in over a decade and was unaware of Epstein's crimes. The same woman says Epstein once suggested calling Trump for an outing in Atlantic City. (....) JARRETT [on Today]: The records including deposition transcripts previously kept underwraps. In one‚ a woman spoke to her about former president bill Clinton‚ telling her “that Clinton likes them young‚ referring to girls.” Now‚ Clinton has not been accused of any wrongdoing. And a spokesman says he was unaware of Epstein’s crimes. The same woman says in these records that Epstein once suggested calling Donald Trump for an outing in Atlantic City. The former President has said that he hasn't spoken to Epstein for years‚ since before his death. (....) JARRETT [on NBC Nightly News]: Questions have remained about his connections. And‚ so‚ The Miami Herald successfully persuaded a federal judge to unseal years worth of court papers‚ including key deposition transcripts and lengthy testimony from Johanna Sjoberg‚ a woman who once worked for Epstein. Sjoberg describing one conversation with Epstein about former President Bill Clinton‚ recalling Epstein told her‚ “Clinton likes them young‚ referring to girls.” Clinton has not been accused of any wrongdoing‚ and a Clinton spokesperson pointed NBC News to a past statement denying knowledge of Epstein's crimes. Sjoberg also recalled the trip to Atlantic City‚ saying Epstein said he “could call up Mr. Trump.” She responded “no” when asked if she ever had sexual contact with the former president. And Mr. Trump has denied having a close relationship with Epstein over the years and is not accused of any wrongdoing in the documents. DONALD TRUMP [in 2019]: He was a fixture in Palm Beach. I had a falling out with him a long time ago.

PBS Anchor Amna Nawaz Reluctantly Asks Mayorkas About House GOP Impeachment Drive

On January 4‚ PBS NewsHour anchor Amna Nawaz interviewed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for nine minutes‚ but didn't get to the House Republican impeachment drive until the last question. Shouldn't that be the first question? Not when it's Republicans doing the impeaching. After PBS lovingly gave live coverage to both Trump impeachments and the Pelosi-Picked Panel on January 6‚ we'll guess they won't offer live coverage of the Mayorkas impeachment hearing next Wednesday.  In her second-to-last question‚ Nawaz asked about big-city mayors complaining about Texas Gov. Greg Abbott "busing and flying migrants to Northern cities." Mayorkas pompously attacked: "What we need is a governor in one state to communicate‚ to cooperate with other cities and states‚ rather than purposefully and unilaterally busing migrants‚ using them as tools to score political points‚ in an effort to achieve disorder and chaos. That is not responsible governance." In her impeachment question‚ Nawaz said Speaker Mike Johnson says the border crisis isn't incompetence‚ it's intentional. Mayorkas smugly said "I don't have time" for political rhetoric.....after he had just shoveled some at Abbott.    NAWAZ: Mr. Mayorkas‚ I need to ask you as well about House Republicans' effort to move ahead with plans to impeach you. I know you have answered questions on this before and you said you are focused on solutions and the work. But what they allege is not that you can't enforce the border. They're alleging that you won't. House Speaker Johnson was at the border yesterday and he says he believes that it's not incompetence. He says he believes you have done this intentionally. He says: "I think these are intentional policy decisions that he has made." What's your response to that? MAYORKAS:  I don't have time for — to address political rhetoric like that. You correctly noticed — noted that I am focused on the work at hand‚ achieving the mission‚ delivering solutions‚ working with Republican and Democratic senators alike to fix a fundamentally broken immigration system. I am focused on leading the Department of Homeland Security with tremendous pride and inspiration‚ watching and leading the work of 260‚000 talented and dedicated men and women. Mayorkas also granted an interview to NPR anchor Leila Fadel for Wednesday's Morning Edition. She threw an impeachment question‚ and bad faith:  FADEL: Let's talk about that‚ because the current House speaker‚ Mike Johnson‚ has been very critical‚ specifically of your department and of you. In recent days‚ his party has renewed its call for your impeachment. Do you see Republican members of Congress as good faith partners? MAYORKAS: It is incumbent upon leaders with the authority to deliver solutions for the American people to deliver those solutions. And we have that opportunity before us now to address what everyone agrees is a broken system. Notice pompous Alejandro again refused to address the GOP argument. But he lost patience when Fadel came at him from the Left and suggested Biden was... just like Trump! Someone needs a fact-checker!  FADEL: My last question is you mentioned earlier that there are differences in the way that President Biden's administration has approached immigration to President Trump‚ but a lot of immigration rights groups have compared the two - the building of more wall‚ the leaning on Mexico to enforce. I mean‚ really‚ how different have the policies been? MAYORKAS: They have been dramatically different‚ and I would take issue with anyone who argues otherwise. Radical leftists who think Biden's nearly-open-borders approach is like Trump's don't even get an ideological label. There's just "immigration rights groups." This is your tax dollars at work.

Brian Kilmeade: ‘Major Blow to Biden’s Green Agenda’

President Joe Biden came in for some heavy criticism when a green project his administration bragged about sank beneath the waves. At least two Fox News hosts and a president of a pro-energy company. Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade noted on Jan. 5 that the failure of a massive wind farm project off the coast of New York was not only a setback for the president’s green agenda but reportedly a sign of a flailing Biden economy as well. Kilmeade said‚ “In a major blow to Joe Biden's green agenda‚ a wind project off the coast of New York‚ near us‚ has been canceled by developers and seemingly his very own Bidenomics were to blame. Energy developers‚ Equinor and BP say the project was scrapped due to inflation‚ interest rates and supply chain disruptions.” This decision frustrates plans by both the Biden administration and the state of New York‚ which put in place a mandate to draw 70% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.  According to Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow President Craig Rucker‚ this blow to Biden’s agenda is not isolated. “The winds of ill-fortune are blowing hard against Biden's offshore energy agenda. Of course‚ he wanted to put in about 30‚000 megawatts of offshore wind by the year 2030. But what happened yesterday is indicative of what has been happening in recent months.‚” Rucker said. “We had another wind company bailout of the vineyard wind projects up in–Massachusetts. We had another one in New Jersey just recently. Ørsted bailed from New Jersey–angering [Gov.] Phil Murphy and many others. They are blaming‚ of course‚ high-interest rates‚ inflation and supply chain issues.” Rucker went on to note that local opposition to the construction also played a role in the project’s cancellation.  Fox News host and former Rep.Sean Duffy also mocked the Biden administration over the project which “the administration was championing as proof of Bidenomics’ success” on The Bottom Line Jan. 4.  Last month‚ Fox Business host Stuart Varney offered some advice that might benefit President Biden today. “You face a short-term crunch where they’re gonna get rid of all these coal-fired plants. Where does the electricity come from if it's not from coal? Where are we going to get it from? The president says‚ ‘We can get it from solar and wind.’ They actually said that just a couple of weeks ago‚” said Varney before speaking to Biden‚ “Dream on‚ Mr. President! Dream on!” Conservatives are under attack! Contact ABC News (818) 460-7477‚ CBS News (212) 975-3247 and NBC News (212) 664-6192 and demand they report on the Biden Administration’s failed energy policies.
