DEI Is Alive and Well‚ America. Don’t Think Gay’s Resignation at Harvard Means Battle Over.

Harvard University’s embattled president resigned Tuesday‚ but it would be a mistake to think that the troubles of that school or higher education in general are over. Harvard President Claudine Gay’s disastrous testimony and serial‚ blatant plagiarism were certainly good reasons to give her the boot. The Harvard Corporation Board‚ which decides who will be president of the school‚ never took that route. Instead‚ Gay bowed out on her own and wrote a letter demonstrating no contrition for her embarrassing Dec. 5 congressional testimony about antisemitism on college campuses. She even insinuated that the reason she was getting criticized was racism. “It has been distressing to have doubt cast on my commitments to confronting hate and to upholding scholarly rigor—two bedrock values that are fundamental to who I am—and frightening to be subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus‚” Gay wrote in her resignation statement. Gay completely dodged the serious accusations made against her‚ in particular the inexcusable plagiarism that seems to be a hallmark of her career. The widespread plagiarism issue is even more impressive when you consider that Gay also has a remarkably thin academic record in general. She has published 10 journal articles and no books in two decades. Apparently‚ pointing out that someone with such a dubious academic record shouldn’t be leading one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world is an example of “racial animus.” So why was Gay made the president of Harvard to begin with and why did she have such firm support at the school? The answer is that she was brought in to demonstrate and double down on the school’s absolute commitment to “diversity‚ equity‚ and inclusion.” As journalist Christopher Rufo wrote‚ Gay built a “DEI empire” at Harvard even before becoming president of the school. She oversaw the school’s racially discriminatory admissions program. She created a task force for renaming buildings and carrying out the cultural revolution in the wake of the “racial reckoning” of 2020. She was there to ensure that Harvard’s entire bureaucratic apparatus was firmly committed to promoting DEI—short for “diversity‚ equity‚ and inclusion”—to the exclusion of almost anything else. Despite the Supreme Court’s invalidation of the school’s racist admissions process‚ that bureaucracy is still in place‚ still carrying out Gay’s initiatives whether she is running them or not. Don’t forget‚ it’s DEI ideology that created the storm of criticism to begin with. It’s an ideology that boils the world down into a collective struggle between oppressors and oppressed‚ where social justice means ultimately overturning Western notions of individual justice‚ responsibility‚ and right and wrong. After the Hamas massacre of Israelis on Oct. 7‚ it became clear that the ideology of DEI excused open-season hatred toward Jews‚ Israel‚ and the West. Gay and other college presidents tried to dodge that reality at the House’s antisemitism hearing. After all‚ most Americans actually do find that it’sabhorrent to simply hate people for what they are. But even in their attempt to gloss over the attitudes of the Left’s angry activist class‚ the college heads couldn’t fully spin this into the usual narrative that the problem is “white supremacy” and America’s history of systemic racism and bigotry. The hate spewing from their supporters was too blatant this time. The DEI mask has slipped. What’s been revealed is an entire elite ecosystem dedicated to its ideological prerogatives. When White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday that President Joe Biden has “always‚ always put equity at the center of every policy he’s put forward‚” this is what she’s referring to. So the end of Gay’s short-lived tenure as head of America’s oldest university is the beginning‚ not the conclusion of the problems facing Harvard and our nation’s elite schools. That was the vision of James Madison‚ Thomas Jefferson‚ and the other men whom they eagerly have been tearing down‚ in many cases literally. Instead‚ these schools have been commandeered for the purpose of reproducing an ideologically conformist ruling class that carries out the political projects of the Left in academia‚ business‚ and government. The problem primarily being that our elite universities and institutions have turned away from the core functions they were founded on. No longer are they committed to creating educated and patriotic leaders who seek the truth and strengthen their nation’s commitment to the Constitution and a free society. They’ve built up an enormous‚ well-funded—publicly funded—apparatus that carries out the agenda no matter who is in charge. The donor exodus can’t happen soon enough‚ and neither can the democratic pressure on these schools to reform. The idea of viewpoint diversity at Harvard or any other Ivy League school is a farce. The problem has gotten worse over the past half-century‚ not better. Gay’s departure changes nothing on that front. She isn’t even leaving the school‚ just going back to being another member of the faculty. The bottom line is that the DEI regime won’t go down without a struggle‚ and it’s willing to bring down the whole system when threatened. This isn’t just a matter of money or who holds what position‚ it’s a matter of power and who decides what the American people think and are allowed to do or not do. They want cultural revolution‚ nothing less. The institutions won’t reform themselves. This problem can only be solved by the American people. We have a lot of work to do. The Left’s Winter of Rage Copies 2020 Playbook

From the Summer of Love to the Winter of Rage‚ the Left has now mastered the use of unleashing uncontrolled mobs on society to get its way. “It seems clear that progressive activists have established ‘Palestine’ as this year’s rallying cry‚ and it is therefore likely that the momentum of these protests‚ with their consistently violent edge‚ will continue into next year’s election‚” independent journalist Julio Rosas wrote at the end of November. It seems Rosas was on to something. Since that time‚ pro-Palestinian protests—many of which have been highly disruptive and violent—have plagued American cities. From New York to Chicago to San Francisco to Portland‚ almost every American city has been hit by unlawful pro-Palestinian protests. These “shut it down”-style events have caused massive traffic jams‚ airport delays‚ the cancellation of events‚ and‚ in some cases‚ serious injuries. However‚ much like in 2020‚ when left-wing protests got out of control and turned violent‚ the consequences for these widespread disruptions seem light as a feather. It’s interesting how mobs favored by the Left are treated by our legal system. Why is it that they are allowed to shut down roads and prevent holiday travel? By continually showing that their actions have no consequences‚ cities and local governments are empowering these groups to create more chaos. The standard for our society has been made clear: If you want to get your way‚ unleash a mob. It’s worth reviewing some of the more high-profile cases in America’s cities. Bay Bridge Blockaded‚ California Gov. Gavin Newsom Cancels Christmas In mid-November‚ about 200 pro-Palestinian protesters shut down the Bay Bridge that connects Oakland with San Francisco for nearly four hours. The incident caused massive traffic jams for the already overcrowded Bay Area freeways. The protesters blocked all the bridge lanes. Some parked their cars and threw their keys into the bay so they couldn’t be moved. The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office said that it would press charges against 80 of those who blocked the bridge‚ but we’ll see if the protesters get any more than the gentlest of punishments. Given the general state of law and order in the City by the Bay‚ I won’t hold my breath. In early December‚ Gov. Gavin Newsom‚ D-Calif.‚ canceled the 92nd Annual California State Capitol Tree Lighting in Sacramento due to planned pro-Palestinian protests. “As we continue to see protests across the country impacting the safety of events of all scales—and for the safety and security of all participating members and guests‚ including children and families—the ceremony this year will be virtual‚” a spokesperson for the governor said‚ according to Fox News. “The program is unchanged‚ and viewers can tune in Wednesday evening to watch this year’s festivities.” The message is that if you celebrate Christmas in this country you are supposed to huddle in fear in your home and avoid public places in your state capital because you are now a second-class citizen. People protesting on behalf of a murderous terrorist Hamas regime come first‚ of course. Funny enough‚ the organizers of the protest mocked Newsom and called him a coward for not showing up for the Christmas event. “Governor Newsom decided to cancel the tree lighting ceremony rather than face the public that is enraged by his shameful silence on the genocide in Gaza‚” said Yassar Dahbour of Sacramento Regional Coalition for Palestinian Rights‚ according to Fox. This is peak “blue” America. Mob Harasses Jewish Restaurant Owner in Philadelphia In one of the uglier incidents to take place in recent months‚ pro-Palestinian protesters in Philadelphia marched down city streets in early December and stopped to harass a Jewish-owned business. Here’s the report from CBS News: Video posted on social media showed demonstrators also made their way to Sansom Street‚ where they gathered outside the Jewish restaurant Goldie‚ one of several restaurants in the city owned by Philadelphia-based Israeli chef Michael Solomonov. The group of protesters is accused of shouting antisemitic remarks‚ and stickers with pro-Palestinian slogans were reportedly left on the doors‚ though when CBS Philadelphia checked back early Monday morning‚ they had been removed. There were no reports of arrests being made at the scene. Since that time‚ countless other protests in Philadelphia have blocked traffic and disrupted the city. Protesters Blockade New York Airports Following New York’s New Year’s Festivities New York airports were hit with protests on New Year’s Day‚ completely blocking traffic at John F. Kennedy International Airport and La Guardia Airport. According to Fox News‚ the protesters shouted “NYPD‚ KKK‚ IDF‚ they’re all the same!” Some of the cars had “intifada” spray-painted on them. Even more distressingly‚ it appeared that balloons were released near JFK airport—something that could certainly be a threat to aircraft. Intentionally releasing balloons near an airport is a federal crime. In 2020‚ blue cities refused to stand up to rioting‚ looting‚ and arson. In 2023‚ it's no surprise they refuse to stand to up to the antics of Hamas supporters. https://t.co/cLVaVqATeC— Noah Pollak (@NoahPollak) January 2‚ 2024 “The FBI is investigating who let the balloons go because they could cause a threat to aviation safety‚” the New York Post reported through a law enforcement source. “It’s unclear if balloons were related to the protest. The Port Authority said it had no information on any balloons‚ and Port Authority police made no arrests.” The protests at the New York airports were only notable due to the disruption of air travel and the potential threat to public safety. For the most part‚ disruptive pro-Palestinian marches—many of which have turned violent—are a common occurrence in the city. Disruptive pro-Palestinian protests have replaced snow days in the Big Apple. Chicago Interstate Closed Before Christmas On the day before Christmas‚ about 100 pro-Palestinian protesters drove a caravan toward Chicago O’Hare International Airport to shut it down. The caravan was organized by the “U.S. Palestinian Community Network‚” according to Chicago City Wire. It stopped on I-190 and Manheim Road to block traffic. According to Fox News‚ this caused both sides of the interstate to completely shut down. I’m sure more than a few Christmas travelers sitting at a standstill were saying something a bit less polite than “Gee‚ the traffic is terrific.” So‚ what did Chicago do about this illegal blockade of traffic?  Nothing. Well‚ almost nothing. Chicago City Wire reported that police gave the blockaders parking tickets and didn’t even tow their vehicles. No arrests were made. On the same day‚ pro-Palestinian protesters showed up at the homes of prominent Democrats‚ including Sen. Dick Durbin. They chanted “Long live Palestine!” You get what you vote for‚ Chicago. Lincoln Memorial Vandalized in Washington‚ D.C. Pro-Palestinian protesters vandalized the Lincoln Memorial on Dec. 20‚ splattering red paint around the building and writing “Free Gaza” and other slogans on it. It was quite reminiscent of many of the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020 that featured countless historical figures and memorials being vandalized with red paint. Steps leading to the Lincoln Memorial have been defaced with red paint. @NationalMallNPS crews are cleaning it up. No word on who did this but that person/persons have left the area. Updates as we get them. @fox5dc pic.twitter.com/bpAtZwbiBz— Bob Barnard (@barnardfox5dc) December 20‚ 2023 The Lincoln Memorial had to be temporarily closed for cleanup following the incident. Given how many charges were dropped against left-wing protestors who committed similar acts of vandalism and destruction in D.C. during the riots of 2020‚ it seems both unlikely the perpetrators will see justice and likely that similar incidents will continue to happen. Portland International Airport Shut Down. No Arrests Made. Portland‚ a city practically defined by anarchy at this point‚ of course‚ had a protest to shut down its airport. A caravan of about 50 vehicles reportedly blocked Airport Way outside Portland International Airport‚ according to TV station KOIN 6. This took place on New Year’s Day and was clearly an attempt to cause chaos for holiday travelers. No flights were delayed by the protests‚ but it’s hard to imagine that all of the travelers arrived on time for their flights. Many people reportedly tried to get into the airport on foot to get around the blockade. Despite the protest being illegal and a violation of Oregon law‚ no arrests were made. The city of anarchy upholds its reputation.  If protests continue into 2024‚ one wonders when and if left-wing officials will become less sympathetic to their cause and start to enforce the law. However‚ if the officials’ past responses to increasing crime in their jurisdictions—establishing no-bail policies‚ decriminalizing many offenses‚ and turning jails into revolving doors where no one spends more than a night—is any indication‚ there is little hope that will ever become a reality. Military Colonel Resigns Post in Protest Against Biden’s Taxpayer-Funded Abortion Policy

A military officer is retiring from service in protest against the Biden administration’s abortion policies. According to Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders‚ Col. Dillon R. Patterson voluntarily resigned from his position as the commander of the 188th Wing of the Arkansas Air National Guard on Dec. 18. In a letter Sanders addressed to President Joe Biden and U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin‚ she explained‚ “Unfortunately‚ Col. Patterson was forced to personally choose between either continuing his command or adhering to his sincerely held religious beliefs against abortion.” She continued‚ “Because he adhered first to his faith instead of overtly political mandates‚ he voluntarily resigned his command. I admire Col. Patterson for having the confidence of his convictions‚ but regret that our nation’s military will suffer the loss of a dedicated airman‚ leader‚ and guardsman as a commander.” The policy Sanders referred to is a decision Biden made in 2022 to use taxpayer dollars in the Department of Defense to fund travel for military personnel to obtain abortions if they are stationed in states where abortion is restricted or banned. “Maybe equally egregious‚” Sanders added‚ “the DoD now requires that commanding officers—regardless of any sincere and deeply held religious convictions to the contrary—are forced to approve such abortion leave.” Arielle Del Turco‚ director of the Center for Religious Liberty at Family Research Council‚ commented to The Washington Stand‚ “Col. Patterson showed great moral courage by refusing to be a part of an institution that would require he violate his conscience and religious convictions by facilitating abortion-related travel.” She added‚ “At the same time‚ the U.S. military needs to recognize that this is a great loss. Enforcing evil policies that violate the conscience of faithful Christians will inevitably cause the military to lose good personnel with integrity.” Sanders made a similar point in her letter‚ noting that on a national level the Air National Guard failed to meet its most recent recruiting goals by a staggering margin of 40%. She wrote‚ “At a time when nearly every military branch has failed to meet recruiting thresholds‚ it is difficult to imagine a more irresponsible and shortsighted bureaucratic mandate.” Referring to the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2022 and allow states to regulate abortion themselves‚ Sanders wrote: Arkansas‚ like many other states‚ chose to do so—protecting unborn life by prohibiting abortions which are not medical necessities for the sake of the mother. … Abortion itself is a barbaric practice. But it is apparently not enough for this administration that abortion be available in some states and regulated in others. Thus‚ the Department of Defense must now apparently sacrifice lifelong personnel’s leadership in the name of military readiness—a laughable paradox if it were not so deeply offensive and damaging. Sanders concluded her letter‚ “Col. Patterson’s only fault was being a man of conviction led by senior Department of Defense leadership who had disregarded his service and abandoned his most fundamental constitutional rights in favor of more fashionable political and social experiments. Rescind this policy immediately.” She also sent her letter to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff‚ the secretary of the Air Force‚ and other top military officials. SEC Sides With Christian Groups Over Apple on Access to Apps

The Securities and Exchange Commission this week rejected  Apple’s request to block a Christian group from making a proposal at a shareholder meeting on what apps the technology company allows users to access.  The American Family Association said it planned to introduce a shareholder resolution at Apple’s upcoming annual shareholder meeting.  The SEC’s decision begins the new year with a significant victory for the American Family Association and the legal organization Alliance Defending Freedom over a Big Tech giant.   “The proposal requests that the board of directors conduct an investigation and issue a report evaluating the standards and procedures the company uses to curate app content on its various platforms‚ and procedures by which the company manages disputes between governmental interests and user rights‚” the SEC ruling says.  AppleNoActionLetterSECDownload “We are unable to concur in your view that the company may exclude the proposal under Rule 14a-8(i)(10)‚” the SEC review team added in a letter Tuesday to Apple’s outside attorney. “In our view‚ the company has not substantially implemented the proposal.” On Oct. 23‚ Apple asked the Securities and Exchange Commission to exclude the American Family Association’s shareholder proposal using as justification Rule 14a-8(i)(10). That rule allows companies to exclude any shareholder proposal that they already had substantially implemented. On Nov. 6‚ Michael Ross‚ legal counsel for corporate engagement at Alliance Defending Freedom‚ wrote the SEC to urge that the family group’s proposal be included at the shareholder meeting. ADF’s letter argued that shareholders are concerned Apple is “‘limiting content access within its online services’ based on viewpoint and that it does so based on vague and subjective terms of use.” “Major corporations like Apple shouldn’t be hiding from shareholders who are concerned about the company’s impact on free speech‚” Jeremy Tedesco‚ ADF senior counsel and senior vice president for corporate engagement‚ said in a public statement. “The SEC’s decision is a much-needed step toward transparency.”  Apple did not immediately respond to inquiries from The Daily Signal for this report. Apple held its previous shareholder meeting in March.  Apple has said the company reserves the right to restrict content‚ and is somewhat vague about what counts as “respectful.” “We strongly support all points of view being represented on the App Store‚ as long as the apps are respectful to users with differing opinions and the quality of the app experience is great‚” the App Store’s guidelines for review say.  “We will reject apps for any content or behavior that we believe is over the line‚” Apple says in the guidelines. “What line‚ you ask? Well‚ as a Supreme Court justice once said‚ ‘I’ll know it when I see it.’ And we think that you will also know it when you cross it.” The quoted comment was made by Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart in a 1964 case regarding obscenity. However‚ Apple has used that standard to block information with biblical views about marriage and sexuality from its App Store‚ Alliance Defending Freedom argued on behalf of the American Family Association. Apple already scored low on ADF’s Viewpoint Diversity Score Business Index‚ which rates corporations on freedom of speech‚ Tedesco said.  “Apple needs to rebuild trust with its shareholders and customers‚ but that can’t happen unless it answers basic questions about whether it is treating everyone equally regardless of their political or religious views‚” Tedesco said.  In the October letter to the SEC‚ attorney Ronald Mueller argued for Apple that the technology company was committed to “demonstrating that business can and should be a force for good and seeks to lead with its values in the technology it makes‚ the way it makes it‚ and how it treats people and the planet we all share.”   “Since its launch in 2008‚ the App Store has proven to be a safe and trusted place to discover and download apps‚” Mueller’s letter says. “The company and its teams are committed to creating a great experience for customers and developers‚ and review every app for compliance with its App Store Review Guidelines to uphold the highest privacy‚ security‚ and content standards.”   Have an opinion about this article? House Republicans Blast Intrusion by ‘Biden and His Bureaucrats’ Into Election Administration

House Republicans are calling out President Joe Biden’s push‚ under an executive order‚ to field federal employees to vote‚ register voters‚ and serve as poll workers during elections.  “Biden’s EO is another attempt for this administration to put a thumb on the scale and expand its overreach in our elections‚” Rep. Bryan Steil‚ chairman of the House Administration Committee‚ told The Daily Signal.  As reported Wednesday by The Daily Signal‚ The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project obtained records showing the U.S. Office of Personnel Management had directed federal agencies to grant up to four hours of paid administrative leave for voting and acting as poll watchers. (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of The Heritage Foundation.) The documents‚ obtained through the Freedom of Information Act‚ also show that the Farm Credit Administration sought to clarify what kind of activity violates the Hatch Act‚ a law that prohibits political activity by federal employees on the federal government’s property and time.  In December‚ the House Administration Committee advanced legislation to repeal Biden’s Executive Order 14019‚ which put federal agencies behind a goal of driving up voter participation and partnering with nonprofit organizations to do so.  “Every eligible American has the opportunity to vote and can do so without federal agencies having taxpayer-paid federal employees flooding election administration sites‚” Steil‚ R-Wis.‚ told The Daily Signal.  Congress can’t permit the Biden administration to tamper with the nation’s electoral process‚ said Rep. Harriet Hageman‚ R-Wyo.‚ who sponsored legislation to repeal Biden’s executive order on getting out the vote.  “Biden and his bureaucrats continue violating our Constitution on a daily basis while screeching about Republicans being a threat to democracy‚” Hageman told The Daily Signal.  “Although the information uncovered by this FOIA request only relates to time off to vote or poll watch‚ the potential for abuse exists. It also begs the question of what else is being done to sway elections that hasn’t been discovered yet?” Hageman added.  The OPM memo from March 2022 says:  Agencies should also allow employees to use up to 4 hours of administrative leave per leave year to serve as a non-partisan poll worker or to participate in non-partisan observer activities at the federal‚ state‚ local (i.e.‚ county and municipal)‚ tribal‚ and territorial level. … This leave is in addition to any administrative leave an employee uses to vote. Campaign finance data shows that federal employees and organizations representing those employees give overwhelmingly to Democrat candidates.  “Once again‚ the Biden administration is unconstitutionally usurping authority to push bad policy designed to support their political agenda‚” Hageman told The Daily Signal. “In no way does the executive branch of the federal government have jurisdiction over elections—they are the constitutional responsibility of the states. To the extent the [Constitution’s] elections clause contains a federal fail-safe‚ it is Congress to whom the Constitution delegates that power‚ not the president. The president’s constitutional role is limited to enforcing legislation enacted by Congress.” The Daily Signal first reported in June that‚ under Biden’s executive order‚ federal agencies partnered with transparently left-leaning organizations such as Demos and the American Civil Liberties Union to drive up voting. Rep. Claudia Tenney‚ R-N.Y.‚ sponsored legislation to block federal funds for partnering with private nonprofit organizations.  Tenney called OPM’s policy regarding federal employees and voting “another example of Democrats interfering in state election policy and pushing for nationalization of our elections.”  “As co-chair of the Election Integrity Caucus and House sponsor of the Promoting Free and Fair Elections Act‚ which works to repeal EO 14019‚ I remain dedicated to preventing the Biden administration’s politicization of the federal bureaucracy and protecting our sacred right to vote‚” Tenney told The Daily Signal. But House Republicans continue to pass budgets that fund implementation of the Biden executive order to mobilize voting‚ said Mike Howell‚ director of the Heritage Oversight Project‚ which obtained the documents from the Farm Credit Administration and the Office of Personnel Management. “The federal takeover via EO 14019 may be one of the most obvious right now‚” Howell told The Daily Signal. “I have no idea why at every turn House Republicans continue to fund their own demise‚ but that’s where we are at. I’m not sure how Americans can be asked to trust the outcome of this election.”  Reached for comment this week‚ an OPM spokesperson referred The Daily Signal to a March 2022 statement from OPM Director Kiran Ahuja about implementing Biden’s executive order.  “The functioning of our democracy and protecting the right to vote are core American ideals‚” Ahuja said at the time. “Today’s guidance advances fundamental goals of the Biden-Harris administration: to promote democracy‚ reduce barriers to voting for federal employees‚ and further position the federal government as a model employer for other employers to follow. OPM is proud to help lead this effort.”  During the Biden administration‚ federal agencies largely have shielded information on how the administration has put the machinery of government behind encouraging voter registration and voting‚ ignoring inquiries from over 50 members of Congress and from media outlets for basic information about implementation of Biden’s order.  Most recently‚ 22 other Republican senators signed on to a letter to Biden led by Sen. Bill Hagerty‚ R-Tenn.‚ asking whether tax dollars are being devoted to electioneering.  “This policy directive merits congressional oversight both as a general matter and under the Antideficiency Act‚” the Nov. 28 letter says. “Accordingly‚ we write to reiterate our request for information regarding the implementation of this executive order‚ including copies of the plans submitted to the White House.” The letter from Hagerty and 22 other GOP senators‚ including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell‚ continues: “Federal agencies should be focused on their defined missions in a nonpartisan manner‚ not using taxpayer funds for voter mobilization efforts with potentially partisan impacts. In other words‚ it’s not the job of the federal government to drive voter turnout.” Biden’s Justice Department also has refused to release its strategic plan for implementing Biden’s executive order on voting‚ citing “presidential privilege.”  Records obtained by The Daily Signal in November show direct planning and coordination took place between the White House and the General Services Administration‚ the chief federal procurement agency‚ to turn out the vote.  And‚ based on records‚ The Daily Signal first reported in 2022 that the Department of Housing and Urban Development is engaging in mass collection of voter registration forms by local public housing officials.  The Justice Department announced guidance for states to increase awareness of voting rights for convicted criminals‚ in compliance with Biden’s order.  The Department of Homeland Security said it is focused on voter registration “at the end of naturalization ceremonies for the hundreds of thousands of citizens naturalized each year.”  The Education Department said it would focus on “increasing civic engagement at the elementary school‚ secondary school‚ and higher education level‚ helping more than 67 million students.” Have an opinion about this article?
