Fist of the North Star 2 aka Last Battle is possibly coming to the Commodore Amiga

The last news story from me today unless something major comes out, as looking through both the EAB forums and Facebook, we've found out that the Sega Mega Drive game of Last Battle: Legend of the Final Hero, is possibly coming to the Commodore Amiga as Fist of the North Star 2. As in the words of the developer who is creating it using the Scorpion Engine "This will be for the Amiga game jam

Every American Should See This Ex-Dem A/C Repairman Set MSNBC Straight on Why Kamala Lost

Tuesday's defeat for the Democrats is raising a lot of questions in that party. The questions they're asking most are the most obvious ones: What went wrong? Where did the message fall short in mobilizing voters against President-elect Donald Trump? An X user named HVAC1 -- a self-described HVAC master...

Dog Cruelly Dumped In The Wilderness Reunites With Mom After 5 Months

After five months of fending for herself in the wild, a dog was finally reunited with her beloved owner. This beautiful Siberian husky didn’t wander off on her own — a pet training facility actually abandoned the poor pooch in Greenland County, South Carolina. Thankfully, Anakin’s Trails Stray and Pet Recovery managed to find her and bring her home. They shared the sweetest video from the reunion on social media. We dare you not to cry when you see the footage! @anakinstrailsdogsearch One of four pet Siberian Huskys that were dumped by a training facility in the southern part of Greenville county farmland , was found by the Anakin’s Trails Stray and Pet Recovery team and reunited with her owner after FIVE months of surviving in the wild on the run ! #anakinstrails#animalrescue#fromthestreettothesofa#fyp#sc#trustthetrap#lostdog#animaltrapping#laurenssc ♬ original sound – AnakinsTrailsstray&petrecovery When the Siberian husky first entered the house, she seemed extremely timid. She hesitantly approached her human with her tail down and her eyes wide. Mom didn’t pressure the pup to come over right away. Instead, she tried to soothe the canine with sweet and encouraging words. Eventually, when the dog realized that she was safe, she allowed herself to get excited about being reunited with her owner. That’s when the floodgates of affection burst open! Once the pooch was feeling secure enough, she hopped into Mom’s lap and started kissing her face. Her tail started wagging wildly as she climbed all over the woman, licking and snuggling anywhere she could. This dog was so thrilled to be reunited with her owner, she barely knew what to do with herself! Two dogs have been rescued, but two are still missing. According to the social media post from Anakin’s Trails Stray and Pet Recovery, this Siberian husky was only one of four pups abandoned by the same training facility. In another clip, the rescue organization shared that they’d managed to find a second pooch, leaving only two more at large. They promised that this dog would also be reunited with their owner within the week! @anakinstrailsdogsearch The moment that the SECOND husky sister pet is trapped and rescued from being dumped after surviving in the wild for 5 months , is captured by the Anakin’s Trails team!! Last evening, just two days after catching and reuniting the first husky mix, Oakley, we located the second husky (Marley) after she started coming near the area. For two days we baited and lured her until she finally went into the trap! Homeowners assisting the team quickly retrieved her ,and she is now awaiting to be reunited with her owner and sister on Thursday when she arrives from Ohio. There is ONE more husky sister on the run left to capture (Juno who is also pregnant ) , and then hopefully the owners will make progress to have the fourth and final husky returned back home who was picked up by someone while on the run in the wild. Second reunion video on Thursday! #anakinstrails #animalrescue #fromthestreettothesofa #fyp #sc #trustthetrap #lostdog #animaltrapping #laurenssc #dogontherun ♬ original sound – AnakinsTrailsstray&petrecovery It’s hard to believe that anyone could desert these beautiful huskies in the wild. We’re so glad that Anakin’s Trails Stray and Pet Recovery is working so hard to find these sweet dogs and reunite them with their owners! You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Democratic Strongholds Reject Soft-on-Crime Prosecutors, Policies

It appears that even in Democratic strongholds, voters have had enough with soft-on-crime policies that have been implemented by left-wing prosecutors in recent years. In California and Illinois, three district attorneys who enacted lenient criminal policies were ousted during Tuesday’s election. In addition, a ballot measure to toughen criminal penalties in California was passed overwhelmingly. In Los Angeles County, which Vice President Kamala Harris won by almost 30 points, Democratic District Attorney George Gascón lost by 22 points to Nathan Hochman, an independent. Gascón, who was elected with the backing of George Soros in the wake of the George Floyd killing in 2020, became known for eliminating cash bail and refusing to charge underage violent crime offenders as adults. Gascón was also the co-author of Proposition 47, an initiative passed in 2014 that “downgraded most thefts from felonies to misdemeanors if the amount stolen was under $950 and reclassified some felony drug offenses as misdemeanors.” Under Gascón, the rate of shoplifting in Los Angeles skyrocketed 81% in 2023, with an overall surge of 28% over the last five years. Violent crime also increased during Gascón’s tenure. “The voters of L.A. County rejected extreme pro-criminal policies,” Hochman remarked during an interview Thursday. “Gascón said that certain crimes and certain criminals will not be prosecuted, notwithstanding the facts and the law. I rejected those de-carceration policies. I also rejected the mass-incarceration policies, and I came down in the ‘hard work’ middle. You’ve got to do the work to make sure that each individual case is being considered individually.” In addition, California voters in the Bay Area soured on another soft-on-crime official, Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price, who was ousted in a recall initiative by an overwhelming 70% of voters. Price received heavy criticism for relaxing sentencing policies, including reducing charges for defendants charged with the killing of a 2-year-old boy and allowing a future murderer to escape long-term jailtime for a previous crime. A statewide ballot initiative in the Golden State that toughens criminal penalties also saw enormous success, with over 70% of Californians voting to pass the measure. Proposition 36 will authorize felony charges for possession of fentanyl as well as thefts of under $950 if the offender has two prior convictions, among other changes that will strengthen criminal penalties. The measure passed overwhelmingly despite strong opposition from Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom. Meanwhile in Chicago, Democrat Eileen O’Neill Burke, who promised to keep criminals who are charged with weapons offenses behind bars and “prosecute retail thefts of $300 or more as felony offenses,” won 66% of the vote [in a race for Cook County, Illinois, state’s attorney]. In comments to The Washington Stand, Family Research Council Senior Fellow Joseph Backholm argued that the progressive vision of leniency on crime ultimately did not appeal to most voters’ sense of justice. “Because progressivism denies the doctrine of sin, they assume the only reason people do bad things is because something bad was done to them,” he observed. “So, if people are just treated nicely, they’ll be nice to others. This belief has inspired a lot of people who should be protecting the innocent by punishing criminals to victimize the innocent by refusing to punish criminals. Voters care more about safety than whether the person breaking into the building was abused as a child and want leaders who share those same values. Christians believe in redemption, so there is hope for everyone, but justice and decency requires us to value the interests of the innocent over the interests of the guilty.” Originally published by The Washington Stand The post Democratic Strongholds Reject Soft-on-Crime Prosecutors, Policies appeared first on The Daily Signal.

MSNBC's Symone Sanders Rips Pelosi, Consultants Who 'Fleeced' Kamala

The Democrat post-defeat circular firing squad was guns ablazin' on Saturday's edition of The Weekend on MSNBC.  Co-host Symone Sanders dared to take shots at an erstwhile Dem sacred cow: Nancy Pelosi.  Referring to Pelosi's vaunted reputation as a vote counter, Sanders mockingly asked, "where's her calculator now?" An agitated Sanders tore into Pelosi for promoting an open "pri-ma-ry. For what," screamed Sanders, flinging her arms out wide [see screencap]. Sanders also trained her fire on the campaign strategists, accusing them of having "fleeced" Kamala. With a mocking "goodbye," she suggested that they be exiled, as was Robby Mook, Hillary's 2016 campaign manager, after his losing effort.  As Sanders unleashed that accusation, a shocked-sounding Michael Steele could be heard offscreen responding with an upset "uhh!" You can imagine that a number of those fleecing strategists are Steele buddies, and that he'll be hearing from them after the show!     Sanders raged that the strategists who "fleeced" Kamala left no money for "the turnout." How can that be? Talking heads repeatedly assured us that Kamala's amazing ground game was going to give her the winning edge! On Election Day, Joe Scarborough boasted that Kamala had 900,000 door knockers in Pennsylvania alone! Note: It's odd. For a party that has largely lost touch with working-class Americans, Democrats love to talk about "the work," as in "doing the work," or one of Kamala's buzz phrases from the campaign: "hard work is good work." In just the first half-hour of today's show, we counted at least nine utterances of that w-word. For good measure (and hours after this doozy of a meltdown), far-left MSNBC analyst and Princeton professor Eddie Glaude cartoonishly claimed too many debates about policy are from the perspective of Republicans: [T]he Democrats have to stop playing the game of representation as a cover -- right -- economic policies are simply just benefiting the top rich? So, you can put out a woman, you can put out a person of color and think that's all you need to do. There has to be some substantive policies behind that that can affect the lives of everyday, ordinary people? We keep playing the damn on the Republican field. Let's change the terms of the debate and stop triangulating playing politics at the margins because you're going to lose every damn time. Here's the transcript. MSNBC's The Weekend 11/09/24 8:24 am ET LEAH DAUGHTRY: [W]hen you talk to people about the issues, what's clear is, even the white people who don't vote for us, align with us on issues, but they don't like our candidates. And so, there's this split that we often have with them, but we've got a lot of work to do on that. And it starts with an admission of the truth. And it starts with — hello — talk to the voters. Because with all due respect to our wonderful people on Capitol Hill, they don't have the answers. SYMONE SANDERS: Well. Nancy, let me just be clear. I'm gonna say, if she ain't gonna say it. Nancy Pelosi, everybody talks about how the Speaker Emerita, you know, she's so strategic, she can count. And yes, she did all of that when she was the Speaker in Congress. But my question is, where is your calculator now? Because Democrats about to damn lose the dadgum House. And for her to sit on this podcast, we played a sound about how, you know, "it's up to -- oh you know, I don't -- I don't to deal with presidential politics." But she helped orchestrate—I'm going to say it.  DAUGHTRY: Well, she did this cycle. MICHAEL STEELE: No, she orchestrated -- oh, ho. SANDERS: She played in presidential politics this cycle. And she helped orchestrate the very public demise of the president. DAUGHTRY: That's right. SANDERS: And thank God for Joe Biden. He came out and, yes, endorsed his VP. [Flings arms out] Cause these people wanted [shouts] an open pri-mar-y! And for what?! DAUGHTRY: When were we going to have an open primary between July 21st when he stepped down and August 20th when the convention was going to happen? When was that going to happen? Anybody who suggested that clearly wasn't looking at a calendar. SANDERS [tossing papers]: I'm looking for the magic wand that apparently the Democrats on Capitol Hill think that we have. I hope, I surely hope, that Democrats eke out a majority in the House. But if they don't, I think the people that had so much to say about the President and the Vice President earlier this summer, I think that those people need to take a back seat. I think the strategists that obviously fleeced the Vice President's campaign, and made a whole bunch of money, okay -- EDDIE GLAUDE [gruntint]: Uhh. SANDERS: -- and give no money to the turnout, they need to take a back seat, okay. They gotta get the Robby Mook treatment. Robby Mook lost in 2016. He was up in Harvard and just came back. Goodbye [waves mockingly.] DAUGHTRY: Listen, we've got to talk to the folks who are actually doing work who were underfunded and overstressed but who are doing the work on the ground talking to voters and we need their opinions. We need to talk to voters to do this post-mortem. GLAUDE: And -- and -- can I add just really quickly? And the Democrats have to stop playing the game of representation as a cover -- right -- economic policies are simply just benefiting the top rich? So, you can put out a woman, you can put out a person of color and think that's all you need to do. There has to be some substantive policies behind that that can affect the lives of everyday, ordinary people? We keep playing the damn on the Republican field. Let's change the terms of the debate and stop triangulating playing politics at the margins because you're going to lose every damn time. STEELE: That last part is exactly what is happening. Welcome to our playground.
