'Their days are numbered': Federal bureaucrats are panicking over Trump win — especially at DOJ and FBI

Employees at the Biden-Harris Department of Justice and their fellow travelers at the FBI are apparently "shell-shocked" and updating their resumes following President-elect Donald Trump's landslide electoral victory. Federal bureaucrats' apparent fears of a thorough housecleaning are justified, as Trump has made no secret of his plan to "shatter the Deep State and restore government that is controlled by the People." Background In March 2023, Trump announced that on day one, he would reissue his 2020 executive order establishing the Schedule F employment category for federal employees, making it easier to remove insubordinate and poorly performing bureaucrats from an estimated pool of 50,000 eligible candidates. "I will wield that power aggressively," Trump vowed. President Joe Biden revoked Trump's Schedule F in January 2021 and announced a rule earlier this year aimed at further shielding federal bureaucrats from accountability and from being ousted under a framework resembling Schedule F. 'They're getting the hell out of dodge.' Reversing this rule might take months and involve legal challenges. Nevertheless, Trump appears committed to ensuring that America's democratically elected president will once again "have appropriate management oversight regarding this select cadre of professionals." Trump also vowed in his 10-point plan to "clean out all of the corrupt actors in our national security and intelligence apparatus." "The departments and agencies that have been weaponized will be completely overhauled so that faceless bureaucrats will never again be able to target and persecute conservatives, Christians, or the left's political enemies, which they're doing now at a level that nobody can believe even possible," said Trump. Since detailing his cleanup program last year, Trump has brought on Elon Musk to lead a federal efficiency initiative, which might reinforce the cleanup of deadwood at the Justice Department and its well-armed offshoot. Reaping the whirlwind Blaze News investigative journalist Steve Baker said that bureaucrats at the DOJ and the FBI are right to panic, not only because a "reshuffling of the deck is normal" but because Trump is poised to make good on his pledge to personify and deliver "retribution" for those Americans wronged by what has become an increasingly politicized justice system. "We know that this panic is happening at the assistant U.S. attorney level and at the U.S. attorney level. These guys are already planning their exits," said Baker. "They know that their days are numbered. They are looking for their golden parachutes into the big, high-power law firms. They're getting the hell out of dodge." FBI employees are expecting a similar shake-up and pre-emptive exodus. Several anonymous bureau sources recently told the Washington Times that the top brass at the FBI were "stunned" and "shell-shocked" by Kamala Harris' humiliating electoral defeat. The insiders, convinced that the president-elect will "smash the place to pieces when he gets in," suggested that no one at the supervisory special agent pay grade (GS-14) or higher is safe from losing their jobs, especially not Director Christopher Wray. "It's a countdown for Wray because [people here] don't think he will stay to get fired after what Trump did to Comey," said one FBI source. "Trump will say, 'Yeah, fire his ass. Don't let him take the plane home.'" Trump appointed Wray in 2017. While the director's term is not set to expire for another three years, the president-elect could put him out to pasture. 'Everyone's going to have a real problem when they're running for the door.' FBI employees are apparently also wary about Musk's efficiency commission. One source told the Times, "When [Musk] tries to do efficiency at headquarters, the place is going to have five people." "Try to find a person that's actually working," continued the source. "That may be the biggest problem there — that there's no efficiency. So that's actually the bigger threat. If you're going to try to make the government efficient, you would start with the FBI, because if you do politics all the time, you're probably bloated." Another source suggested to the Times that some FBI employees who have grown tired of the Jan. 6 witch hunt are amused over the prospect that Trump will liberally issue pardons, nullifying their efforts. While the promise of pardons has apparently amused some bureaucrats, it hasn't slowed down Democratic elements of the judiciary. Baker, whose pretrial hearing regarding his Jan. 6 misdemeanor charges is scheduled for Tuesday, told Blaze News that despite the understanding that Trump will ultimately pardon nonviolent Jan. 6 protesters, D.C. courts are continuing to waste time and taxpayer funds pursuing his and similar cases. "They are going forward with the process no matter what, when they should be hitting the pause button," said Baker. While the president-elect currently lacks authority, Baker suggested that "he should at least issue a public statement and say, 'I'm telling you, DOJ, I'm telling you, FBI, I'm telling you, judges of the D.C. District Court: You're wasting your time. You're wasting the people's time. And you're wasting the people's money going through this process because I'm going to put a stop to this on the day of or day following my inauguration.' He could at least send a signal." Baker suggested that such a statement may not get through to those blinded by hatred and committed to crushing Jan. 6 protesters, but it might resonate with those persons in the District of Columbia still equipped with common sense. In the meantime, it appears that FBI employees are getting ready for a change of employment. "You know the fit test? How they let the standards slack on the fit test?" one FBI source told the Times, referencing the bureau's physical fitness requirements. "Everyone's going to have a real problem when they're running for the door." Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. 'Maybe we just need to switch parties': Radio show caller goes viral after saying Democrats have failed black voters

A caller on a New York City radio station is making waves for his comments claiming Democrats do not fulfill their promises to black people in the United States,During an episode of "The Breakfast Club," the extremely popular hip-hop radio show in New York, a caller took his chance to convince black Americans to demand more from their politicians."Man, I just want to say, bro, that [we're] not a monolith. Black people think by themselves," the caller began."I feel like, at the end of the day, why we lost, I feel like it's the Democratic Party is the reason why we lost, man," he continued. "They promised us and promised us and promised us, but we never get nothing in return, man. And it's a new day and a new age, and I feel like as black people, we should now demand everything we want before we give up our vote, man."'Maybe we just need to switch parties now or maybe do something different.'The caller then suggested during the "Get It Off Your Chest" segment that black Americans need to stop settling for "crumbs" from Democrats."We've been sitting around too long and just giving, getting the crumbs. But now we need everything we ask for," the caller went on. "Maybe it's a good thing that Trump did win, because we can see if he really piggybacked off of [Barack] Obama's economy. Can he come bring us out of this economy?" he asked. The caller added that if President Trump does spur an economic recovery, it's time for black Americans to reconsider their votes."Maybe we just need to switch parties now or maybe do something different. That's how I feel."According to Fox News, exit polling has shown that Trump performed better with black voters compared to previous elections with 16% support, a four-point gain over 2020. However, this included 24% support from black men, which is double the number who voted Republican when Trump was up against President Biden.Power 105.1 radio host Charlamagne responded to the caller by saying those who voted for Trump need to "push him to do what he promised he was going to do.""If [the economy] doesn't trickle down to the least of us, then it doesn't matter," the host continued. In another clip of the show posted to X, the host rhetorically asked why so many commentators have seemingly stopped calling Trump and Republicans fascist since he was elected."Don't y'all find it strange that now that he’s won, they’re not calling him a threat to democracy? They’re not calling him a fascist? ... It just makes you wonder how much of it did they really believe, or how much of it was just politics," he theorized.Like Blaze News? Leftist mayor of San Francisco defeated by political rookie

The leftist mayor of San Francisco who presided over a shocking rise in crime and homeless over the past six years will soon leave office, having lost her re-election bid to a businessman with no political experience.London Breed, 50, became mayor of San Francisco after winning a special election in the wake of the passing of Mayor Ed Lee in late 2017. Since then, she has implemented a radical agenda.'Over the coming weeks, I plan to reflect on all the progress we’ve made.'She was among the first mayors of a major city to strip law enforcement of funding in keeping with the BLM cry to "defund the police" following the death of George Floyd. In 2020, Breed announced that she would cut a whopping $120 million from the budgets of both San Francisco’s police and sheriff’s departments, the New York Post reported in December 2021.Within a year, she had reversed course about funding law enforcement, but by then, homelessness and crime, particularly property-related crime, had soared. In March, residents from the Tenderloin district even sued the city for failing to address these problems."Every day, at all hours, people are dealing drugs and using drugs in front of [the plaintiffs'] apartment building. There are encampments. People are lighting bonfires. Their sidewalks are filthy with all kinds of problems from used syringes to human waste," said Matthew Davis, one of the plaintiffs' attorneys.Facing a tough re-election battle this year amid a slate of eager challengers and ranked-choice voting, Breed then tacked toward the center. At a debate in front of a crowd of unionized firefighters in July, Breed announced that she would crack down on homeless encampments following the Supreme Court ruling Grants Pass v. Johnson."We have had to move from a compassionate city to a city of accountability, and I have been leading the efforts to ensure that we are addressing this issue differently than we have before," Breed said at the time."We will continue to lead with services, but we also can't continue to allow people to do what they want on the streets of San Francisco, especially when we have a place for them to go."Such gestures were too little, too late, apparently. On Tuesday, voters decided to go with Daniel Lurie, the 47-year-old heir to the Levi Strauss fortune and the current CEO of the anti-poverty nonprofit Tipping Point, KTVU reported. Because of his wealth and quick rise from relative obscurity, critics accused him of trying to buy his way into office. Lurie dismissed those allegations."You can't buy an election in San Francisco. You've got to go out and earn every vote," he said.Though voters often ranked both Breed and Lurie on their ballot, as of Thursday, Breed trailed Lurie considerably, 43.8% to 56.2%. Breed then called Lurie to concede. She also posted a concession message to X, claiming to have done her best and made significant "progress" during her time in office."I answered the call and always gave San Francisco and its people my heart and soul."Breed also expressed optimism about the future."I am the Mayor – but you all are doing the hard work every day and the City is on the rise. Over the coming weeks, I plan to reflect on all the progress we’ve made. But today, I am proud that we have truly accomplished so much and my heart is filled with gratitude," she wrote.Lurie, a political neophyte, has already pledged to secure 1,500 more housing units for the homeless within six months of taking office. He also wants to hire 450 new police officers within three years, according to KTVU.However, he also cautioned that the city will not turn the corner "overnight.""I'm deeply grateful to my incredible family, campaign team and every San Franciscan who voted for accountability, service and change. No matter who you supported in this election, we stand united in the fight for San Francisco's future and a safer and more affordable city for all," he said in a statement.Like Blaze News? New Zen 6 AMD Ryzen gaming CPUs won’t be coming until 2026 or 2027, says rumor

AMD is on a roll with hugely successful gaming CPUs, and it’s already planning for the years ahead. According to a new rumor, AMD expects to launch its next-gen Zen 6 Ryzen “Medusa” gaming CPUs in late 2026 or early 2027, with plans that the new CPUs will maintain compatibility with existing motherboards by using the same AM5 socket design as other Ryzen CPUs. It’s never too early to think ahead, and AMD has a big lead in the battle for the best gaming CPU that it will want to hold on to. Just this week, we published our AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D review, which showed that this new CPU is well ahead of the best that Intel has to offer, including the Intel Core i9 14900K, with phenomenal gaming performance.
