Pictures from the meat counter at Lidl in Västerås are now being spread on social media. The beef is locked behind bars - while the pork is easy to access just like other foods.

The pictures must have been snapped inside the grocery store sometime during Saturday. The private person who published the photos on Facebook on Saturday afternoon writes in the post :

Thought I saw most ……. clearly not. Lidl in Västerås 23/4 2022. Everything about beef locked behind bars. Unlike pork… ..

In the comments field, he says that what was placed over the beef counter were grills with combination locks.

The man says in the comments field that this is due to meat theft - but that it is only the beef that is interesting to the thieves.
