You can't blame Law Enforcement here. They should charge the driver with murder as well, she caused this by running. There seems to be a prevailing attitude that it is cool to run because Law Enforcement won't chase you. I know here in Dayton they seem to have 1 or 2 of these chases each week and the cops almost always discontinue the chase.
"A5-year-old girl died when the car she was in crashed into a pond during a police chase in Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday night.
Police believed the child was in the process of being kidnapped.
As the female driver attempted to evade police, she crashed into the pond. Officers were able to find her and apprehend her.
The 5-year-old girl was not immediately discovered during this time. She was eventually found at the bottom of the pond deceased, according to authorities."

Looks like Manchin is at odds with Biden again. I have a suggestion foe Manchin, Tell Old Joe Biden that you are withholding your vote on Supreme Court unless Biden reinstates and starts wall construction again!!!!
"Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Friday slammed President Biden’s decision to rescind Title 42, a Trump-era health order used to rapidly deport people who cross the border without authorization, as “a frightening decision” that would likely increase the volume of migrants at the southern border.
“Today’s announcement by the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and the Biden Administration is a frightening decision,” Manchin said in a statement after Biden’s announcement.
“Title 42 has been an essential tool in combatting the spread of COVID-19 and controlling the influx of migrants at our southern border. We are already facing an unprecedented increase in migrants this year, and that will only get worse if the Administration ends the Title 42 policy,” Manchin warned. "

I think this is yet, another sign that the Demoncrats are going to be demolished in the midterm elections!
"“No rebound in decline in black support,” read the survey headline. In its January survey, 57% of blacks approved of Biden, while 41% didn’t. Now the numbers are worse: 56% approve and 43% disapprove.
“The trend in approval by race and ethnicity since July shows a very substantial decline in approval among black adults, with smaller but consistent declines among white and Hispanic respondents,” according to the analysis."

Of course, nothing will be done to her as she is a Demoncrat and the darling of the liar class!
"Media pundits have remained silent on the reports of White House press secretary Jen Psaki negotiating with MSNBC about a future position from the podium.
Former Trump-era communications director Marc Lotter said Friday that ethical standards call for White House employees to declare any potential employment positions and could not do business with them while continuing to hold a governmental job position."

This Administration is beyond evil, and Granholm is a pure piece of crap!
"Exhibit A: A recent interview on MSNBC with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm in which the idea of using World War III to push clean energy was the focus.
Host Chris Hayes said that he would probably take a similar approach to President Joe Biden because people need gas to get around and gas price increases harm people, but “At the same time, it just seems so depressingly insane that we are here in 2022 and it’s like, let’s drill baby, drill, let’s get more oil on those markets, this is the solution. And it’s like it’s always the next cigarette is the one we’re going to give up, but for now, we need to buy another carton. Why should I not be depressed by this?”
Granholm responded, “I totally get it, Chris, believe me. I think a lot of us came into this hoping that we would be focusing solely on clean energy solutions, renewable, making that transition, but we didn’t anticipate that Vladimir Putin would wage war on Ukraine and cause these markets to go out of control. And so, that’s why the president said this is a two-step solution. One is, let’s increase supply right now because we’re on a wartime footing. And we want to reduce people’s pain at the pump and safeguard them against this incredible volatility. But second, we have got to use this reason to become energy independent with clean energy. We don’t want to be relying upon fossil fuel markets that are incredibly volatile or from countries that don’t have our interests at heart. So, ultimately, the best solution is to go clean.”
And then…
She continued, “And that’s why the second part of what he announced was invoking the Defense Production Act to help increase the building of batteries for electric vehicles in the United States. He also referred to the Weatherization Assistance Program, which — we released $3.2 billion to the states to make sure that people don’t use as much energy as they are right now because their homes may be leaky. We want to invest in renewables. We want to invest in the technologies that decarbonize the fossil fuel industry. And that’s why this second part, to become energy independent with clean energy, is the medium-to-long-term strategy.”
And while being a little nicer to our planet has long been considered an ostensibly good idea, trying to find a shortcut through the graveyards of Kyiv just feels icky."
