Around 14 people complained that Lander created a toxic work environment, with 9 of them saying he publicly shouted at and humiliated employees.

"BOONE, N.C. (WBTV) – Authorities said they’ve been able to close the books on a 50-year-old triple homicide case that happened in Watauga County.
According to the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office, on Feb. 3, 1972, 51-year-old Bryce Durham, his wife Virginia, 44, and 18-year-old son Bobby were found murdered in their Boone home during a snowstorm.
The family was found by their son-in-law after he and his wife went to check on the family with the help of a neighbor."
