NEW YORK—The spirit of Peanut the Squirrel has teamed up with Harambe the gorilla to posthumously endorse former President Donald Trump for his second term in office. The duo, who met in Central Park back in 2018 before their untimely demises, appeared on a viral video to express their support for the controversial candidate.  The video, which has been viewed millions of times, shows Peanut and Harambe sitting side by side in a field of flowers, with the Cincinnati Zoo visible in the background. “We may be from different parts of the forest, but we know a good leader when we see one,” said Peanut, speaking on behalf of both animals. “And Donald Trump is the best choice for America.”  The endorsement comes as a surprise to many, as both Harambe and Peanut were known for their progressive views on conservation and animal rights.
