"Embattled Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, who’s reelection campaign is under fire from former President Donald Trump, widely trails her top challenger in a new 2022 survey.
In the SoCo Strategies poll conducted to gauge the impact of Trump endorsements, Cheney is 18-points behind Trump-backed Harriet Hageman.
The new survey of Republican voters found that Hageman, a GOP activist and Cheyenne land and water rights attorney, leads Cheney, 38%-18%. State Representative Anthony Bouchard is at 12% and 26% are undecided.
The independent survey -- not done for Cheney or Hageman -- was included in a handful of other state results showing that a Trump endorsement can be a game changer. State officials this week announced that Trump plans to hold a rally next spring in Wyoming for Hageman far ahead of the August 16 primary."

Man Who Vanished Eight Years Ago Finally Found Five Feet Underground

"The remains of a Connecticut man were discovered buried five feet under a garage more than eight years after he vanished, and now the local landlord who led detectives to his body faces murder charges.
Bridgeport police said on Thursday that “strong evidence” suggests the two men arrested in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Aryndel Castro had beaten and choked him to death on the night of Sept. 22, 2013. After murdering Castro, Shawn Gibson, 45, and Terrence Boyd, 55, went to The Home Depot to purchase cleaning supplies in an “elaborate clean-up effort,” cops said.
The pair then rented a van on two occasions to cover their tracks, cops said, transporting Castro’s body multiple times in the days after the murder"

Missing Woman Found Dead After Boyfriend Allegedly Murdered Her, Refused to Reveal Location of Body

"Deputies announced that citizens found the body of missing woman Kathleen Moore, 34, on Tuesday. She was about 50 yards from the home of Collin Scott Knapp, 30, the person arrested for allegedly murdering her. Knapp killed her after a night of arguing, and he refused to tell law enforcement her whereabouts, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco previously said.
Investigators were able to positively identify Moore based on her tattoos, the sheriff said in a press conference Tuesday."
