A policeman who testified against two left-wing extremists in a case involving drugs and bombs lives in the house in Gothenburg that was shaken early this morning by an explosion. Samnytt can now reveal that. According to Samnytt's information, one of the two left-wing extremists has recently been released from prison.

The policeman is in his 40s and works as a drug detective in Gothenburg. One evening in September 2019, he spied on a today 40-year-old man who is a well-known name in the left-wing extremist environment in Sweden. The 40-year-old was suspected of involvement in the city's drug trade.

When the man met another 44-year-old man during the evening, who was also singled out as a left-wing extremist, the police decided to strike. During a subsequent house search, drugs were found as expected; including cocaine, amphetamines and cannabis, but also detonators, detonators and advanced bomb disposal equipment.

Sentenced to prison
Last year, both men were sentenced to prison. In May, the Court of Appeal for Western Sweden sentenced the 40-year-old left-wing extremist to five and a half years in prison for, among other things, a serious drug offense.
