Facebook classified Africans as "primates"

MEDIA. Facebook has turned off its automated recommendation function. This after users who have seen a clip about Africans have been advised to watch other "videos about primates".


The recommendation was shown during a video from the British newspaper Daily Mail with the headline: "White man sends the police on black men at a marina".

A spokesperson for Facebook states that this is a "manifestly unacceptable error", writes Al-Jazeera.

The automatic recommendation feature has been disabled for the time being.

"We apologize to anyone who may have seen these offensive recommendations," Facebook said in a statement.

This is the latest in a long line of scandals in which automatic AI functions on various websites have proven to be "racist". Often it is precisely about image recognition systems that identify Africans as monkeys.

While immigrants from western countries often have the same or higher IQ level than Swedes, immigrants from the third world have significantly lower IQ, which has already lowered the IQ level throughout the country. Sweden's average IQ has already dropped to 96.3, due to the high immigration from the third world. The worst affected by low IQ among the large immigrant groups are Somalis, who have an average IQ of 67.7.

"The level of average IQ in Sweden drops to 92 by 2100 if no significant changes occur in net immigration," Tarvainen writes in his study.

He also shows that similar results apply to Denmark, Norway and Finland.

When those born today turn eighty, there will be 6.2 million Swedes and 9.6 million immigrants living in Sweden.
