Trump Drives to an Event In His Own Garbage Truck

Donald Trump left his jet to ride in a garbage truck to his event in Green Bay Wisconsin. He has his own garbage truck. It’s amazing how fast the team responded humorously to Biden’s heinous remark telling America how he feels about half the country. However, what Biden said is not a joke. HILARIOUS: Trump Has Crowd Roaring With Laughter Telling Story Of Wearing Garbage Workers’ Vest

Speaking at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where Hall of Fame former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre praised him, former President Donald Trump, wearing an orange vest that garbage workers use, had the crowd roaring with laughter as he hilariously recounted the story of how he came to wear the vest. Earlier this week, President Joe Biden referred to Trump supporters as “garbage,” saying, “And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a ‘floating island of garbage.’ … The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” “So this outfit, you know, is when he called us all ‘garbage,’” Trump began. “What a stupid word.” Trump then referred to Hillary Clinton’s infamous characterization of Trump supporters in 2016, continuing, “That blows ‘deplorable’ away, don’t you think? Of course, I thought ‘irredeemable,’ when she said “deplorable’ or ‘irredeemable,’ I thought ‘irredeemable’ was actually worse, but ‘deplorable’ seemed to catch up. But this ‘garbage’ stuff blows it away.” “So I’m in this beautiful plane; I’m enjoying myself,” he recalled. “I have a wonderful suit on —  (applause)  — and one of my people came in, he says, ‘Sir, you know the word garbage is the hottest thing right now — (laughter) —out there. The hottest thing there. Sir, would you like to drive a garbage truck?’” (huge laughter/applause). “Now we’re about 30 minutes from landing, we had to do this pretty quick,” Trump continued. “I said —It’s sorta cool though, isn’t it, because you know — and I said, ‘Y’know, I think that’s okay, but y’know, I don’t feel comfortable wearing a suit’ (laughter) and they pulled up this garbage truck; I don’t know how the hell they did it so fast.” “I have very capable people,” Trump said as the audience laughed again. “They put a big sign on the truck, did you see it? I think they showed it. (applause/laughter) and then they said, ‘Sir, we have a vest.’ I said, ‘Wow, should I leave my suit on and put it over the vest?’ But that doesn’t look very good, right? That doesn’t look good.” “So I said, ‘All right, look, let me take it off,’” he continued. “And I actually said, ‘How the hell do you get into this truck? It’s way up high; it’s a big one.’ (laughter). This was a beauty. I said, ‘You didn’t have to buy it that big, right? You have to get it that big?’ They brought this brand-new gorgeous truck, wonderful driver – he looked like Cary Grant in his prime, you know who that is? (laughter). This beautiful driver and he drove that big thing up. And I said, ‘Man, this is bad, ’cause now I have all the cameras, they’re all watching.’ Look —(Trump pointed to the back of the crowd) — look at all the fake news (booing), they were most of them — (sustained booing). Now most of them, many of them were there and I’m saying, ‘Oh, boy, you know one little mistake with these guys and your political career is over.’ So I said, ‘Man, if I don’t get up there this is going to be embarrassing.’ (laughter) These stupid people, they’ll say, ‘He’s cognitively and physically impaired!’ (huge laughter) and I can’t do that when I’m alongside this great athlete. I got to get up to that.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “So, look, so the first stair’s like up here (Trump gestured waist-high). I’m saying, s***! (the crowd erupted with laughter). So I had the adrenaline going and I made it. (huge applause). I made it. And then I gave a little news conference from the front of the — y’know, they ask their wiseguy questions and everything, and then we drove about two feet. (huge laughter) I got out, got in the car, and then I got in the car and I’m driving over here and I have this still on, and I come into the arena and I say, ‘Where’s my jacket? I want to get outta this thing.’ And they said, it would be unbelievable if you could wear it on stage. (huge laughter and applause). And I said, ‘No way, I got 25,000 people standing outside, I got all these people here. There’s no way I’m wearing it on stage.’ They said, ‘Oh, okay, sir.’ I said, ‘Get me my jacket.’” (They said) “But if you did, you know, it actually makes you look thinner.” (huge laughter).  Trump continued, “And they got me, I said, ‘I want to wear it on stage.’ When they said I look thinner, I said, ‘In that case, I’ll wear it on stage.’  I may never wear a blue jacket again. (laughter). I may go in this. They said that, that was the word, that was the key. ‘Sir, you look thinner.’” “So, anyway, so we had a little fun about a very serious subject,” he said. “We had a little fun about a time where our country is not having a lot of fun because we’re not doing well as a country — but we’re going to be doing well very shortly, I promise you,” he concluded. NYC Legalizes Jaywalking. Supporters Complain Laws Against It Had Racial Implications.

Despite the fact that roughly 200 people have been killed in New York City in the last five years while jaywalking, the city has now legalized jaywalking — outlawed since 1958 — with supporters claiming the laws against jaywalking were racist. The city council passed a bill last month permitting jaywalking. Democratic Mayor Eric Adams never vetoed the bill, and it became law and will go into effect in roughly 120 days. Prior to the law being abolished, a violation could cost as much as $300, The New York Times noted, adding, “Jaywalking laws, historically used to target Black and Latino residents, were not evenly enforced in New York, and the Council bill was primarily a racial justice measure.” Brooklyn Councilwoman Mercedes Narcisse, who introduced the bill, stated, “Let’s be real, every New Yorker jaywalks. People are simply trying to get where they need to go. Laws that penalize common behaviors for everyday movement shouldn’t exist, especially when they unfairly impact communities of color.” “We’re seeing discriminatory enforcement of this, but the other thing is that it’s not keeping us any safer,” said Democrat Councilwoman Tiffany Cabán, a sponsor of the bill. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “Jaywalking is not genuinely associated with traffic safety and instead is often used as a pretext to stop black and brown individuals,” Mike McGinn, executive director of America Walks, stated. “Decriminalizing jaywalking in New York City is long overdue and eradicates a mechanism that the New York City Police Department (NYPD) has, for decades, employed as a pretext to stop, question, and frisk New Yorkers, especially those from communities of color,” the Legal Aid Society declared. “It’s part of a broader decriminalization of everything,” Joseph Borelli, the Republican Minority Leader of the NY City Council, stated. Fellow GOP Councilwoman Vickie Paladino echoed that the move would “promote chaos and make streets far more dangerous.” GOP Councilwoman Joann Ariola of Queens said, “How can anyone imagine this is a good idea considering the [amount] of pedestrian deaths we continue to have each year? It would only put more pedestrians in danger.”

“POV: You Don’t Have Any Kids So Your Parents Are Grandparents To Your Cats, Halloween Edition”

When your kids opt for a life as childless cat people, you do what you gotta do. That means adopting their furbabies as your grandchildren and spoiling them rotten! Becoming a cat grandparent is not a bad deal. Toys and treats are typically less expensive. You can carry all the trimmings for one holiday in a tiny bag. While your furry grandbabies might not be able to say thank you, they thank you in other, more personal ways. @almondandcashie my whole heart #grandparents #catsoftiktok #cattok #halloweenlook #costume ♬ original sound – Cashie&Almond Cashie & Almond are two very lucky tabby cats. They have loving cat parents and doting cat grandparents. Almond is a 12-year-old female cat. When she started showing signs of loneliness recently, her parents adopted Cashew (Cashie). It took those nutty cats a bit to get used to each other, but now they are the best of friends and true siblings. The adoption was near the end of July, so this is the first holiday with both cats for the cat grandparents. Let the spoiling begin! Grandma and Grandpa show up, dragging heavier-than-life bags of treats, costumes, and cat toys. We jest; each cat only got a small bag of goodies. Grandma cuddled up with Almond to share the goodies while Grandpa worked to coax Cashie. Image from TikTok. When Grandma began showing Almond all her neat, new stuff, the cat was busy checking everything out. She was eagerly sniffing the bucket as Grandma brought out the bumblebee costume. Cashie wasn’t as enthusiastic with Grandpa showing him all the neat stuff. However, this is Cashie’s first Halloween so he doesn’t know what to expect. When it was time to try on the costumes, Almond was an old pro. Cashie looks like he is suffering the worst betrayal a cat can suffer. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Could Tim Walz’s Progressive Education Policies Doom Harris?

Could Tim Walz’s Progressive Education Policies Doom Harris?

Donald Trump currently holds a razor-thin 0.6% lead over Kamala Harris in the RealClearPolitics polling average for Pennsylvania. With this key swing state potentially deciding the outcome of the Electoral College, Democrats can only wonder how different the polls might look if Pennsylvania’s popular governor, Josh Shapiro—once considered a front-runner for Harris’ VP pick—were on the ticket instead of Tim Walz. One factor that pushed Walz to the top of Harris’ list, despite the strategic advantages of choosing a swing-state governor like Shapiro, stands out: Across the board, Walz has been more progressive on education issues. Last year, Shapiro angered fellow Democrats and teachers unions by working with state Republicans on a plan to enact a private school voucher system. Later, facing pressure from his own party, Shapiro reversed course and vetoed the proposal, leaving Republicans and school-choice advocates feeling betrayed. His reversal mollified some within his party, and dozens of unions publicly released statements of support—but others on the Left never quite forgave him. When Shapiro’s name was floated as a likely VP candidate, a coalition of progressive groups published an open letter to Harris. The letter attempted to link Shapiro’s voucher-friendly stance to The Heritage Foundation’s controversial Project 2025 and “respectfully” urged Harris not to choose him. Accordingly, some Democratic leaders worried that Shapiro’s past support for vouchers might erode support among a critical part of their base. Nikhil Goyal, a Democratic National Committee delegate from Vermont, said he would have “grave concerns” about Shapiro “when we have a great desire to win over educators and school staff and Americans who support public education.” In contrast, Walz boasts sterling credentials from the standpoint of anyone opposing school vouchers. Walz is the first former schoolteacher to appear on a major-party ticket in half a century. As governor of Minnesota, he strongly opposed school-choice initiatives like the one Shapiro had backed. When the state’s Democratic House speaker suggested a minor compromise with Republicans on vouchers, Walz’s response was unequivocal. “It was kind of ‘over my dead body,’” she recounted. Trump has vowed to enact “universal school choice” if given a second term, and he appointed outspoken voucher advocate Betsy DeVos as his education secretary during his first term. On the other hand, the Democratic Party platform released this summer included a strong statement against private school vouchers. Support for publicly funded school vouchers has become a third rail in Democratic politics. And Shapiro’s past flirtation with vouchers may well have cost him the VP slot. What’s more, in a year when college campuses erupted in pro-Palestinian protests over the Biden administration’s support for Israel in the Gaza war, Shapiro’s Jewish heritage and public efforts to hold university leaders accountable for antisemitic incidents on Pennsylvania campuses may have been seen as an additional electoral liability among young progressives who view Israel as an oppressor and the chief evildoer in the war in Gaza. Walz, by contrast, has been more outspoken in his support for pro-Palestinian protesters. While he condemned Hamas, he said he believes students are protesting on behalf of Palestinians “for all the right reasons.” As a former teacher, Walz would be poised to play a leading role in education policy if he and Harris win on Election Day. Republicans, accordingly, have drawn attention to Walz’s education record as governor, betting that the progressive policies that helped him win the VP race may not endear him to swing voters. Walz, for instance, signed a law preventing libraries from removing sexually explicit books from children’s shelves and mandated that public schools stock tampons in boys’ bathrooms—a policy that Sen. JD Vance has criticized on the campaign trail. Team Trump has also highlighted Walz’s support for critical race theory and his overhaul of the state’s social studies curriculum. In September, Donald Trump Jr. and other campaign supporters began posting a video on X featuring Brian Lozenski, a professor of multicultural education at Macalester College, whom Walz tapped to help write the state’s ethnic studies standards. In the video, Lozenski describes himself as a critical race theorist and explains his views: The first tenet of critical race theory is that the United States as constructed is irreversibly racist. So if the nation-state as constructed is irreversibly racist, then it must be done with, it must be overthrown … You can’t be a critical race theorist and be pro-U.S. OK, it is an anti-state theory that says, ‘The United States needs to be deconstructed, period.’ Right. Like that’s, you know, and so I think, I think it’s an interesting argument there. And that’s why I’m a critical race theorist. Katherine Kersten dug deeper into the curriculum standards Lozenski helped craft in her piece for The Wall Street Journal: “High school students are told to ‘develop an analysis of racial capitalism’ and ‘anti-Blackness,’” she wrote, “and are taught to see themselves as members of ‘racialized hierarchies’ based on ‘dominant European beauty standards.’” Lozenski is a founding organizer of Education for Liberation Minnesota, a group that Kersten notes has advocated for “defunding the police” and “abolishing the social order and building a new society.” If Walz is poised to take a leading role in education policy in a potential Harris administration, his record offers much for progressives to celebrate. Whether more moderate swing voters—those Harris and Walz need to win over in Pennsylvania—will be impressed by the kinds of ideas promoted by Walz’s appointee Lozenski is another matter. If Pennsylvania goes red on Nov. 5, Democrats will be left with many questions. Here’s one: What if the uncompromising brand of progressivism that helped Walz secure the VP nod over Shapiro is the very thing that gives Trump a second term? Most Americans Say Women Deserve Medals Lost to ‘Transgender’ Athletes Who Are Biological Males

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Almost three-quarters of voters say they believe medals awarded to biological men who beat females in sports should be given instead to the women who lost. Female athletes worldwide have lost nearly 900 medals to transgender-identifying rivals competing against them in women’s sporting categories, according to a United Nations report released last week. Fully 72% of voters say those medals should be awarded to the biological women who would have won them otherwise, and 68% say women’s sports records set by biological males should be thrown out so that women’s sports records are restored to biological women.  This is according to a poll released Thursday from Napolitan News Service, which surveyed 1,000 registered voters from Oct. 28-29. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. The new U.N. study demonstrates that, across 29 sports, over 600 female athletes have lost to male competitors who identify as women. “The replacement of the female sports category with a mixed-sex category has resulted in an increasing number of female athletes losing opportunities, including medals, when competing against males,” the report says. In America, the issue of biological males playing in girls and women’s sports is “moving the needle in some key Senate races and possibly having an impact on the presidential race,” said Scott Rasmussen, president of RMG Research, which conducted the poll on behalf of Napolitan News Service. “Some Senate campaigns are running hard on that issue, gaining some traction,” Rasmussen told The Daily Signal. “And one of the reasons it’s effective is [that] to most people, it’s idiotic to let boys play in girls sports. It’s common sense.” Biological males competing in girls or women’s sports is expected to be a “sleeper” issue in the Nov. 5 election across the nation.  For instance, a debate moderator asked Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, about an ad from his opponent in Texas’ Senate race, Republican incumbent Ted Cruz, that accuses Allred of refusing “to protect the integrity of women’s and girls sports.” In response, Allred denied what his voting record shows. He said Cruz’s attack ad was “a desperate, last-second attempt … to distract you because he can’t defend his own record.” “Ted Cruz was running a lot of ads,” Rasmussen said of the incumbent senator’s ads directed at Allred. “His challenger felt he had to respond. And when he did, [he] kind of tried to sound like he was agreeing with Ted Cruz. The progressives attacked him.” An ad targeting Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, argues that Brown is “too liberal for Ohio” because he voted “to let transgender biological men participate in women’s sports.” Brown’s reelection campaign cut an ad in response saying that it’s a “total lie” to suggest that Brown had voted to allow transgender athletes to participate in girls sports. The ad also reminded voters that Ohio already banned biological males from playing girls sports, garnering Brown criticism from LGBTQ groups. “You want to protect women, and you want to protect women’s sports, but some of the progressive Democrats have a hard time letting go of that issue,” Rasmussen said, “and so it’s something that is shaking up the race again, perhaps just on the margins.” The post Most Americans Say Women Deserve Medals Lost to ‘Transgender’ Athletes Who Are Biological Males appeared first on The Daily Signal.

This University Marching Band Has A ‘Golden’ Member Stealing The Show – A Service Dog

The University of Northern Iowa (UNI) marching band, The Panther Marching Band, has a cute and ‘Golden’ member stealing the show – Winnie the Golden Retriever, a service dog to a UNI sophomore. In an interview with KCRG, Winnie’s hooman and UNI sophomore Gabi Riessen said, “I’m part of the marching band, so that means she is, too.” Winnie, a Golden Retriever, is Riessen’s service dog. In a UNI article, Riessen revealed her relationship with Winnie and how she ended up in the marching band with Winnie. Riessen is a transfer majoring in elementary education from Denison, Iowa. From her previous school, she was “met with obstacles” to participate in band and theater because she has a service dog. In the article, Riessen reveals that she chose to transfer to UNI because two of her friends attended the school. And because she hopes to get the full college experience, with Winnie by her side, at UNI. “One of my best friends, Ren — she’s on the color guard team, and she told me about how much she loved it and how amazing Director Justin Mertz is,” said Riessen. “So she gave me his email, and I reached out to him to see if being in the band with my dog could even be a possibility, and we met and talked about it. I think he’s more excited to have a dog in the band than I am.” Today, Winnie is part of the Panther Marching Band. She marches with Riessen and stays by her side in the frontline. Riessen even reveals, “Honestly, I think she’s a better marcher than me. She’s just really good at adapting to any situation I put her in.” Also reveals that Winnie loves the attention she gets as a marching band member. Riessen reveals, “There’s so many people watching her, and she eats it up.” However, before being a Panther Marching Band member, Winnie is, first and foremost, a service dog to Reissen. As a service dog, Winnie helps Riessen manage her postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) – a chronic disorder that causes problem in a person’s autonomic nervous system. Riessen explains POTS in simple terms saying, “For me, it means that I pass out randomly without warning. Like my heart rate just fluctuates more than most people.” Winnie is trained to pick up on changes in Riessen that indicates a fainting spell. She will then alert Riessen of an upcoming fainting spell, allowing the UNI sophomore to get to a safe spot to avoid hurting herself. She will then lie beside Riessen and protect her. Riessen said Winnie provides her with a “sense of normalcy”. “Winnie has made it where I can be like a normal person again,” said Riessen. “I can do band, because she’ll let me know if I’m okay, and I can go to my classes. Before her, we didn’t know if college was going to be an option.” And while service dogs cannot be pet during their “work hours”, Winnie is different. Riessen reveals that she does not mind when people pet Winnie, giving back the sense of normalcy that the pooch has been providing her. “If we’re not doing anything, I’ll let them pet her because she deserves to be a dog and to have fun because I would hate for her to just be so structured that she misses out on that,” she said.
