CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings made it clear on Tuesday that he was not buying the White House’s attempts to clean up President Joe Biden’s remarks from earlier in the day, when he had referred to former President Donald Trump’s supporters as “garbage.” Jennings joined host Abby Phillip along with a panel of guests to discuss the fallout from Biden’s comments earlier that afternoon, and among other things, he noted that Biden had been on CNN while his vice president and current Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris attempted to deliver her campaign’s closing argument just outside.
