Trump Border Czar To Sanctuary Communities: Let Us In Jails Or Face ‘Exact Result You Don’t Want’

President-elect Donald Trump‘s incoming border czar, Tom Homan, emphasized he will not be deterred by Democrat-led areas that refuse to cooperate with federal authorities seeking out illegal immigrants, particularly those who pose a threat to the community. During an interview on “Sunday Morning Futures” with anchor Maria Bartiromo, Homan said he wanted to “make something clear” to so-called sanctuary states and cities that are gearing up to push back on the second Trump administration’s plan to tackle the border crisis. Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan sends a message to Democrat officials vowing to give sanctuary to criminal illegal aliens: “Let us in the jail— it’s safer for everybody… We’re going to send agents out on Day One.” pic.twitter.com/GvuL4ATDno — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) December 8, 2024 “I want to send them a clear message,” Homan said. “If you let us in the jail, we can arrest the bad guy in the jail, in the safety and security of the jail. One officer could do that. But when you release the public safety threat back in the community, you put the community at risk. You put my officers at risk. You put the alien at risk.” Homan, who previously served as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), explained what he expects would happen under such a scenario. “You’re going to release that guy in the community, I’m going to send an entire team to go look for the guy in your community,” Homan said. “And what’s going to happen? We will find that guy. And when we find that guy, there’s probably going to be others — others that are not a priority. However, if they’re in the country illegally, they will be arrested too, because we’re not going to tell an immigration officer, like the Biden administration did, that you’re going to turn your back on a known immigration illegal.” CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE Immigration officers have an “oath to uphold,” regardless of opposition, Homan stressed. “You are forcing us into a community at large numbers where other non-priority aliens will be arrested. That’s the result, the exact result you don’t want,” Homan said. “So let us in the jail. It’s safer for everybody and it’s the right thing to do to the security communities. What we’re going to do, Maria, we’re going to target, as I say, public safety threats, national security threats.” Looking ahead to the second Trump administration, which is set to begin on January 20, Homan predicted that his efforts will begin right away. He also addressed Bartiromo’s question about whether he expects the military to get involved. “We’re going to send agents out on day one,” Homan said. “We’re already working on targeting. DoD [Department of Defense], they have helped every administration. We would like DoD to help us in a lot of areas in transportation and infrastructure building, intelligence, and targeting. But a sworn immigration officer with immigration authority will be making those arrests.”

‘A Little Unusual’: Trump Opens Up About Meeting With RFK Jr., Dr. Oz, And Drug Company Execs

In a new interview, President-elect Donald Trump shared how he is taking an open-minded approach to health care after meeting with drug company executives last week. Trump told NBC’s Kristen Welker about what he did with his pick to lead the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Dr. Mehmet Oz, his nominee to become Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator, ahead of his second term. President Trump: We have to get our chronic disease epidemic under control and make our country HEALTHY again pic.twitter.com/5o8XCCA8Vc — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) December 8, 2024 “I did something the other night that was a little unusual at Mar-a-Lago,” Trump said during the “Meet The Press” interview that aired on Sunday. “I called the drug companies. The top drug companies. And I called RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz and some of his people and I said, ‘Let’s all get together and figure out where we’re going, because we’re going to do a lot of things.'” He said the recent meeting, which reportedly included executives from Pfizer and Eli Lilly, entailed discussions about a wide range of issues. “We met for a long time and we talked about pricing and we talked about vaccines, you know, in terms of what happens. We talked about pesticides. We talked about everything,” Trump said. He added, in an apparent reference to Kennedy: “And I think a lot of good things are going to come from him. And he’s not going to upset any system. … He’s not looking to, you know, reinvent the wheel, totally. But, when you look at the numbers, we really don’t have a very healthy country.” CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE Tackling expenses in the pharmaceutical industry is a top priority, Trump indicated. “We’re going to reduce prices because the middleman makes more money than the drug companies, in all fairness to the drug companies,” Trump said. “There’s a middleman that nobody even knows who they are. And you look at our prices, they’re much higher than the prices for the same medicine, for the same stuff.” Trump also dismissed the notion that he opposes all vaccines. He expressed support for Kennedy’s stated position for placing them under increased scrutiny, particularly when it comes to protecting children, and pointed out how autism diagnoses have spiked in recent decades. “I’m not against vaccines,” Trump said. “The Polio vaccine is the greatest thing. If somebody told me to get rid of the Polio vaccine, they’re going to have to work real hard to convince me. I think … certain vaccines are incredible, but maybe some aren’t. And if they aren’t, we have to find out.”

Trump Rips FBI Director Wray, Outlines Goals For Kash Patel Taking Over

President-elect Donald Trump ripped FBI Director Christopher Wray over the weekend during an interview while discussing his new nominee for the role, Kash Patel. Trump made the remarks during an interview that aired Sunday on NBC News’ “Meet The Press” with Kristen Welker. Trump said that Patel is “going to do what he thinks is right” and that he supports Patel going after anyone who is a “crooked or a corrupt politician.” He added that he does not expect Patel to go after his political enemies. PRESIDENT TRUMP: If they think that somebody was dishonest or crooked or a corrupt politician, then I think [Kash Patel] has an obligation to investigate it. WELKER: Are you going to *direct him* to do it? PRESIDENT TRUMP: No. pic.twitter.com/qHrchMqCbB — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) December 8, 2024 He said that he would not direct Patel who to go after and that the justice system will run well as Patel works with U.S. Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi. When asked about Wray, Trump said that he was not “thrilled with him” because “he invaded my home.” “He invaded Mar-a-Lago,” he said. “I’m very unhappy with the things he’s done, and crime is at an all-time high. Migrants are pouring into the country that are from prisons and from mental institutions, as we’ve discussed. I can’t say I’m thrilled.” CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE “And then when I was shot in the ear, he said, ‘Oh, maybe it was shrapnel,'” Trump continued. “Where’s the shrapnel coming from? Is it coming from — is it coming from heaven? I don’t think so. So we need somebody to straighten — you know, I have a lot of respect for the FBI, but the FBI’s respect has gone way down over the last number of years.” NBC: Will you fire Christopher Wray? PRESIDENT TRUMP: “It would sort of seem pretty obvious that if @Kash_Patel gets in, he’s going to be taking somebody’s place, right? That somebody is the man you’re talking about.” pic.twitter.com/dYQwfx5l5O — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) December 8, 2024

Trump: Pete Hegseth Never Flinched Over Risk Of Leaving High-Paying Job Because He Loves America

President-elect Donald Trump said during an interview that aired over the weekend that his nominee for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, did not care about risking his high-paying job because he wanted to serve his country. Trump made the remarks about Hegseth, who is working hard to win over Republican senators so he can be confirmed next year, during a Sunday interview with Kristen Welker on NBC News’ “Meet The Press.” “I told him — so he’s making a lot of money at Fox, [his family is] doing very well,” Trump said. “And I said, ‘You know, if for some reason you don’t get this thing, you’re not going to be able to go back. And all that money you’re making, you can kiss it goodbye.’ He said, ‘This is all about America.'” “You know he didn’t say, ‘Well, let me think about it. Let me discuss it,'” Trump continued. “That’s a very big, risky thing he’s doing. When he goes and he says, ‘I’m going to give up, you know, millions of dollars in order to possibly become the secretary of defense,’ a lot of people would say, it’s a great position, there’s probably almost no greater position, but a lot of people would say, ‘I have to think about it.’ He said, ‘I don’t have to think about it.'” He said that every time he talks to Hegseth, all he wants to do is talk about the military because “he’s a military guy.” CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE “I used to kid him about it,” he added. “I didn’t think we’d be in this position where he may be, hopefully will be, secretary of defense. But every time I was with him, he was fighting for soldiers, where he said some soldier was unjustly put in prison because they were really doing what they were taught to do, in some cases. So yeah, I think he’s going to do fine.” WATCH: Trump says he told Pete Hegseth that he was taking a risk by leaving a high paying job to work in government because if he did not get in he would not be able to go back Trump says Hegseth never flinched & he jumped at the opportunity because he said “this is all about America” pic.twitter.com/mKANyei5P3 — Ryan Saavedra (@RealSaavedra) December 8, 2024

PBS Promotes Pro-Pedophilia 'Pioneer,' Conservative Opponents Offer Only 'Vitriol'

As the incoming Trump administration considers defunding the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the PBS News Hour just keeps hitting the accelerator on their overwhelmingly one-sided promotion of transgenderism. On Friday night, PBS anchor William Brangham supportively interviewed transgender Minnesota state Rep. Leigh Finke (D), best known for a bill called the "Take Pride Act," trying to strip anti-pedophilia language out of the definition of sexual orientation. It would eliminate the sentence  “Sexual orientation” does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult. The Minnesota-based blog Power Line argued "We might re-name it the 'Take Pride in Abuse of Children Act.'” The networks all ignored this controversy, although they routinely celebrate leftists in state legislatures. None that came up as anchor Geoff Bennett began the promotional gush for transgender "rights": "William Brangham is back to talk with one recent pioneer about how she sees this current moment." A "pioneer." Brangham described the two sides of this debate, and the conservatives were dismissed as offering "vitriol," as if there is no respectable dissent: "My guest is no stranger to both the triumphs and the vitriol surrounding transgender rights in America. Two years ago, Leigh Finke became the first trans person elected to the Minnesota state legislature. And even though she endured numerous threats, she leveraged her position and a Democratic majority to help pass legislation protecting other trans people in her state. Leigh Finke, so nice to have you on the program." Brangham's questions were supportive and open-ended: 1. "As I said, you have been in office almost two years now, but this is a seemingly very fraught time for trans rights in this country, with this past election and all of those attacks, the first openly trans member of the U.S. Congress, and now the Supreme Court case this week. I just wonder how this is — how has this been for you the last few months?" 2. "You were here while the Supreme Court was arguing this case. That case centered around Tennessee's attempt to ban trans care for trans children. And the justices had a lot of different arguments about that case. And I wonder, listening to what they had to say, what stood out to you?" Finke said "it is incredibly difficult to hear people finding reasons to further discriminate and alienate trans people, especially our kids." 3. "It also seemed that the justices wanted to talk about other trans-related issues, bathrooms, sports. Do you feel like this is just the beginning of an ongoing cascade?" Finke concluded "until the conservative Republican institutions realize that this is a human — that they are hurting human people, and they are not just making hypothetical political arguments, they are going to continue." 4. "Yes, we have certainly seen those. I mean, Representative Nancy Mace here in Congress, as soon as we had a trans member of Congress, she introduces a bill to ban trans people using bathrooms that don't conform to the sex of their birth. President Trump has vowed to get trans kids out of children's sports. I mean, do you think that this is, again, just — it seems like the GOP is very interested in pursuing this issue, even though you're arguing it's not really an issue." Finke agreed there is no issue. 5. "President-elect Trump, as you well know, spent tens of millions of dollars attacking Kamala Harris over her stance on trans rights. And some Democrats are arguing that Democrats' embrace of trans rights cost them this election. Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton said that the Democratic Party is — quote — "out of touch" on trans issues and said — quote — "I have two little girls. I don't want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but, as a Democrat, I'm supposed to be afraid to say that." What do you make of that argument?"  Finke called it "despicable."

What does Jordan Peterson understand that pastors are missing?

The American church should be embarrassed that Jordan Peterson ate its lunch. And it's not just Peterson; an armada of other influencers have done the same. Peterson’s success should be especially galling because his work is frequently about the Bible. One of Peterson's original claims to fame was a series of lectures he gave on Genesis in which hundreds of thousands of mostly young men watched even though they could be two hours per episode. He just released his own Bible commentary book, "We Who Wrestle with God." Earlier this year, he did a national tour on that theme, selling out theaters around the country. Here in Indianapolis, he sold out a 2,500-seat auditorium with a minimum ticket price of over $100. The audience, in effect, paid to hear him give a sermon on Genesis. People are willing to pay Jordan Peterson to preach to them. Strangely, the church doesn’t seem to be all that interested in understanding the Jordan Peterson phenomenon, much less the rest of the men’s influencer archipelago ranging from the healthy (like former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink) to the dubious (like the infamous Andrew Tate). It has continued with legacy strategies that appeal to some but are clearly not as effective as what online influencers are doing. Some of the appeal of online influencers is understandable. There’s a sort of edgy, transgressive, “bro” vibe. Some of what is being sold here, such as pickup artistry, are things the church should flat-out reject regardless of how big the market for it might be. But there’s a lot more to it than that. They come across as being on men’s side. They don’t see men as the problem to be fixed. Online influencers are willing to provide politically incorrect information too many traditional authorities won’t touch. They’ll note that women initiate the vast majority of divorces — about 70% of them — something you’ll rarely, if ever, hear a pastor mention. They’ll talk about hypergamy, or the fact that women prefer to date and marry up, or at least not down. They also have a curiosity about the world, which is one of the keys to the success of Joe Rogan’s podcast. They also give a tremendous amount of practical advice that you can use in your life. This obviously includes tips on making women like you but also diet and exercise advice, business advice, and more. Again, not all of it is accurate, but a lot of it is very useful. I’ve learned a lot from some of these people myself. Above all, they come across as being on men’s side. They don’t see men as the problem to be fixed. They do more than deliver hectoring “Man up!” lectures. Instead, while they often challenge men to step up, they are cheerleaders as well. And they treat men’s own hopes, dreams, aspirations, and plans as important — not as things that must be entirely sacrificed or given up in order to serve someone else’s agenda. While many of these folks are playful, others treat life with more seriousness than many traditional authorities seem to. Jocko Willink’s idea of “extreme ownership” is a good example. Or the way Jordan Peterson treats scripture as having something vital to say about the human condition. The evangelical magazine Christianity Today, in reviewing his book, said, “Christian readers should learn from Peterson’s boldness, his disposition of awe and docility before the sacred page.” For those of us who are convinced that Christianity is true, it’s incumbent on us to understand why so many people are turning elsewhere looking for answers in life. And we must find a way to articulate the truth in a way they find more compelling than what’s on offer from online influencers.

‘Who is the president of the United States?’ How Trump is putting the world ON NOTICE

Axios recently released an article titled “Trump's shadow presidency clouds Biden's final weeks” — and Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Program” has a few thoughts. “Here’s the only shadow presidency that we should be talking about, and that is, who the hell is president right now? It’s not him. I don’t care what anybody says, it’s not him,” Glenn says, adding, “Who is the president of the United States?” “I mean, it’s going so poorly, it’s hard to believe it’s not him,” Stu Burguiere jokes. “Kind of seems central to his governing philosophy. But I think you’re right. It doesn’t seem like he’s really the president.” The Axios article, unfortunately, gets worse. The author writes, “But the norm-busting assertiveness of Donald Trump and his transition team and the rapidly fading relevance of President Biden has given the U.S. something of a two-headed presidency.” “No, here’s what happened. This is not a shadow presidency. This is promises kept. The world is being put on notice right now. There’s a new sheriff in town,” Glenn says. “Now, we can play this two ways. You can understand that the time of insanity is over, and you can start preparing right now to fix that.” “He means what he says. ‘Tariffs are coming.’ So when he calls the new president of Mexico and says, ‘This is what’s coming. You want to play ball or do you want to be outside?’” Glenn says, “He’s doing that with almost everything.” This is what the difference is between Joe Biden and Donald Trump and why the world is now preparing for the new president to take office. “When Joe Biden was the elect, and he was saying, ‘We’re not going to prosecute anybody,’” Glenn explains, “Donald Trump is telling heads of state, ‘Return to law and order.’” “Joe Biden was saying, ‘There’s no law and order here, there’s no sheriff in town,’” he adds. Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling, thought-provoking analysis, and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
