SNL Claims 'Real American Dream' Is For Immigrants To Say 'White Guys Only'

During the most recent episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, new cast member Emil Wakim claimed that “the real American dream” is to be the non-white immigrant who eventually becomes a Republican and says to others, “No, sorry, sorry, white guys only.” Later in his address, Wakim would also attack critics of people like Gays for Gaza, telling them that “If you want them to be gay, just stop bombing them.” Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost set things up by wondering, “So, how are you feeling going into the election?” Wakim began, “I feel good. I know who I’m voting for, but I don’t know who my dad is voting for, you know, because my dad’s an immigrant, but, like, he made it in this country, like he made it against all odds, like he made it so hard that he's a Republican now.”     For Wakim, being a Republican means being a racist, “Like, that's—that's the real American dream. To go from, like, village in Lebanon to being like, ‘no, no, don't let more in. No, sorry about that. No, sorry, sorry, white guys only. Come on, Kyle, let’s go play pickleball.’” Jost then sought to have Wakim elaborate about Lebanon, “I guess that is a dream, yes. Do you still have family in Lebanon?” Wakim then did a bit about how people view someone like him who was “raised Christian” as less threatening and that his dad would try to insist, “You know, you don’t have to say we’re Arab, we’re not Arab, we’re Christian Lebanese, it’s different. We’re European, we're like the French.” Towards the end of that particular bender, Wakim turned to current Middle East news, “We're Italian guys. We talk with our hands, we kiss our buddies on the mouths, we're just like ‘I love my mother,’ But, then we bombed the Middle East forever, so they went from ‘I love my mother’ to [unintelligent noises]. Like that’s how we got there, you know.” Is it? The idea that the Middle East was lovey-dovey and then America came along and started bombing people is absurd. When people in the Middle East aren’t fighting Americans or Israelis, they are busy fighting each other. Still, Wakim proceeded to torch a strawman, “I don’t think people aren't being honest with how they feel about stuff over there, you know? Like a lot of young people now are for gay rights and women's rights will be like ‘Free Palestine, Free Gaza,’ and people on the other side are being like, ‘Oh, gays for Gaza, huh? Oh, go be gay in Gaza, see how they like it over there. That’s why we’re going over there.’ Like, as if that's why America goes to war. Because we love women and gay people so much.” Literally nobody has said the reason why Israel is at war with Hamas or the reason why the U.S. has gone to war has been because of gay rights. It’s just to point out that people who subscribe to an intersectional worldview allow their brains to be turned into mush. However, Wakim was not done, “Like, as if that's why America goes to war. Because we love women and gay people so much. Like, also, if you want them to be gay, just stop bombing them, like, they’ll get to gay, you know? They're busy. They don't have time to be like, ‘who am I in the deepest parts of my—’ You can't watch your village get blown up and be like, "I think I'm bisexual actually.” Like, that's not. The fact that Gaza isn’t gay friendly isn’t just stereotyping about Arabs or Muslims, it, contrary to what Wakim’s jesting implies, is real. In other SNL Weekend Update news, immediately preceding Wakim's talk, co-anchor Michael Che said of the Catholic Church, "'The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has reached a settlement in hundreds of child sex-abuse cases and will pay out $880 million. An amount that priests called 'worth it.'"   Bigotry against imams and rabbis? Unthinkable. But Che on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" can smear all priests: "The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has reached a settlement in hundreds of child sex-abuse cases and will pay out $880 million. An amount that priests called 'worth it.'" pic.twitter.com/RT86NwxIhK — Tim Graham (@TimJGraham) October 21, 2024   Here is a transcript for the October 19 show: NBC Saturday Night Live 10/20/2024 12:22 AM ET COLIN JOST: Hi, Emil, welcome, so, how are you feeling going into the election? EMIL WAKIM: I feel good. I know who I’m voting for, but I don’t know who my dad is voting for, you know, because my dad’s an immigrant, but, like, he made it in this country, like he made it against all odds, like he made it so hard that he's a Republican now. Like, that's -- that's the real American dream. To go from, like, village in Lebanon to being like, [ARAB ACCENT] “no, no, don't let more in. No, sorry about that. No, sorry, sorry, white guys only. Come on, Kyle, let’s go play pickleball.” JOST: I guess that is a dream, yes. Do you still have family in Lebanon? WAKIM: Yeah, I do, and you know it's very scary now, but, you know, my dad always worries about me because I talk about being Arab and he's like, [ARAB ACCENT] “You know, you don’t have to say we’re Arab, we’re not Arab, we’re Christian Lebanese, it’s different. We’re European, we're like the French.” And I'm like "Ask the French if they think we're the French." They're like, “we're good, thanks.”  Christian Arabs are a very funny part of this. You know, anytime stuff starts going down over there they always like to pop out to be like, “not us.”  It's like a bunch of Lebanese dudes with unibrows being like, [FRENCH ACCENT “Bonjour, we are the white ones.” JOST: So, you’re saying that the Christian part helps. WAKIM: Yes, for sure, you know, I've lived all over the country, no matter how liberal or conservative of an area I’m in when people find out I was raised Christian, I can feel them just relax a little bit, you know, even in this room, like, I feel people’s shoulders drop when they find out your family are Christian Arabs. They're like, “oh, he's cool.” They're just, like, a little less afraid of you, you know? Christian Arabs, we're kind of like, we’re like black dudes with anime backpacks. Racist guys are like, “I don't love it, but I'm not going to cross the street anymore. It’s fine. He skateboards. Okay, whatever” JOST: I guess I see that, sure. WAKIM: See, we're not that different from other groups? Arabs are not just like violent people by nature. We're really just another group of hairy, sweaty, passionate guys, you know? Like what is an Arab, but a Greek that you’re kind of afraid of? You know what I mean? We're right there. We're Italian guys. We talk with our hands, we kiss our buddies on the mouths, we're just like, [ITALIAN ACCENT] “I love my mother.” But, then we bombed the Middle East forever, so they went from [ITALIAN ACCENT] “I love my mother” to [unintelligent noises]. Like that’s how we got there, you know. Colin wrote that joke for me. I don’t think people aren't being honest with how they feel about stuff over there, you know? Like a lot of young people now are for gay rights and women's rights will be like “Free Palestine, Free Gaza,” and people on the other side are being like, “Oh, Gays for Gaza, huh? Oh, go be gay in Gaza, see how they like it over there. That’s why we’re going over there.” Like, as if that's why America goes to war. Because we love women and gay people so much. Like, also, if you want them to be gay, just stop bombing them, like, they’ll get to gay, you know? They're busy. They don't have time to be like “who am I in the deepest parts of my—” You can't watch your village get blown up and be like, "I think I'm bisexual actually.” Like, that's not – JOST: Emil Wakim everyone.

'Conspiracy theorist’ Trump right AGAIN as FBI admits LIE about crime being down

As the news cycle moves fast as ever, the Trump-Harris ABC News Presidential Debate has all but faded into obscurity. However, there’s something very important from the debate to remember. That is, when moderator David Muir “fact-checked” Trump when he claimed that crime is on the rise. Because it turns out the former president — who was made to look like a crazy "conspiracy theorist" for his statement — was right. Freshly added footnotes reveal that the FBI released a massive change to the crime stats that Muir was citing. “The FBI has screwed with the numbers. The Crime Prevention Research Center reported that the FBI stealthily changed its crime data for 2022,” Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Program” reports. Meanwhile, in 2022, cities like Phoenix, New York City, and Los Angeles failed to submit any crime data. “Then they said this is a finished report and crime is down. Well, now they say, ‘Well, OK, it didn’t fall by 2.1%, it’s actually up,’” Glenn says, noting that it’s now been updated to include 80,029 more violent crimes, 1,600 more murders, 7,780 more rapes, 33,000 more robberies, and 37,000 more aggravated assaults. “OK, that sounds like a big miss,” Glenn comments, shocked. “But here’s where it gets insidious. They just put this in the footnotes. They didn’t make a big deal out of it. They continue to mess with the numbers. How many times have they got the unemployment rate wrong, so you get the headlines of ‘we’re good,’ and then a month later you’re like, ‘we’re not so good.’” With numbers so astronomically different from the truth, Glenn doesn’t believe this was an accident. “They have given the Democrats a talking point on ‘crime is actually down,’ when we all knew if you believe your own eyes and don’t listen to the media, you know what’s true already,” he says. Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling, thought-provoking analysis, and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

More thought crimes coming to Canada? Calling out Indian mass-graves hoax could become illegal

More thought crimes coming to Canada? Calling out Indian mass-graves hoax could become illegal

After three years of chest-beating, church burnings, historical revisionism, and national self-flagellation, the exponents of Canada's mass Indian graves hoax have produced no evidence to support their anti-Christian "blood libel." Despite having found no children's remains nearby former residential schools and certainly no mass graves, Canadian leftists are keen to proceed as though they had. After all, it has proven a helpful way of extorting Catholic dioceses, extracting hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars from Ottawa, and downplaying serial attacks on Christian institutions. The trouble with this game of make-believe is that not all are willing to play. The Wall Street Journal and other publications abroad have repeatedly made a point of noting that the narrative initially advanced by Rosanne Casimir, the chief of the Tk’emlups te Secwepemc Nation, and others in the years since — particularly in state media — was bogus from the start. While Canadian leftists cannot silence American critics, they have designs for silencing those at home who have sought to correct the record, such as C.P. Champion and Tom Flanagan, authors of "Grave Error: How the Media Misled Us (and the Truth About Residential Schools)." On Sept. 26, Leah Gazan, a member of parliament whose socialist New Democratic Party supported Justin Trudeau's unconstitutional use of martial law against peaceful trucker protesters in 2022, introduced a bill that would criminalize "condoning, denying, downplaying or justifying the Indian residential school system in Canada through statements communicated other than in private conversation." — (@) In "The Canadian Manifesto," British lord and former newspaper publisher Conrad Black noted: The federal government for some decades in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries was encouraging and subsidizing residential schooling delivered mainly within the private sector, especially the Christian churches. This was designed to enable Indigenous people to compete advantageously in the community of Canada as a whole, not to exterminate their consciousness of their socio-cultural roots. The policy had mixed results and there were certainly a good many instances of cruelty and incompetence, but many people thrived, and these students constituted the great majority of educated natives. Black noted further that "to tag any previous Canadian government as genocidal [over the residential schools] in any sense was an outrage and a blood libel on the English- and French-Canadian peoples." If Gazan successfully amends the Criminal Code, then these statements would likely qualify as criminal. Accordingly, Black, the National Post's Terry Glavin, and others willing to speak forthrightly could face up to two years in prison. Furthermore, the state might attempt to seize whatever means of communication used to advance the offending messages, possibly even the publications in which they appear, "for disposal as the Attorney General may direct." 'Denialism is violence.' The socialist's bill allows for certain exemptions. A so-called "denialist" — a term critics have even applied to select Blaze News writers — could avoid prison if he establishes that "the statements communicated were true" — a requirement not similarly imposed on the proponents of the mass-graves hoax. A "denialist" could also argue to a potentially leftist court that his or her argument hinges upon a belief in a religious text or the statement's relevance to a subject of public interest. When introducing her censorship bill, Gazan said, "The residential school system was a genocide — designed to wipe out Indigenous cultures, languages, families and heritage. To downplay, deny or justify it is cruel, harmful and hateful. This should have no place in Canada." Gazan appears to have been echoing Casimir, one of the initial propagators of the hoax. Casimir revealed in May that the investigation into supposed unmarked children's graves in Kamloops was ongoing but top secret. "Our investigative findings and investigative steps are currently being kept confidential to preserve the integrity of the investigation," said Casimir. Casimir called on others keen to maintain the narrative to "refute the very real harm caused by denialists." Kimberly Murray, the Trudeau government's "Independent Special Interlocutor for Missing Children and Unmarked Graves and Burial Sites," has similarly kicked around the term, telling state media that "denialism" is "the last step in genocide." "Denialism is violence. Denialism is calculated. Denialism is harmful. Denialism is hate," said Murray. While claiming to respect free speech, Gazan told the National Post "all rights have limitations." "There's a difference between freedom of speech and hate speech," added the socialist. The narrative Gazan seeks to insulate against criticism set the stage for scores of church burnings across Canada. Blaze News investigated over 18 church burnings earlier this year and reached out to various Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachments to determine whether the attacks were answered with justice. In most instances, the perpetrators were never caught, and the cases were dropped. While there appears to be little appetite for addressing real crimes, the Canadian government remains focused on digging up empty fields. Murray suggested earlier this month that the federal government needs to sink more funding into the so-far unsuccessful graves investigation, reported APTN News. "I have raised this with the government — both in my interim report and over the last two years — that there has to be sustainable funding for these searches," said Murray. "At the end of the day, we need to stop treating this search for missing and disappeared children as a program. Canada has a legal obligation to support the findings of these truths." Murray was required to issue a final report to the federal minister of justice in June, but she kicked the can down the road in May, indicating she needed "more time to complete this important work." Pastor compares Kamala to Esther from the Bible — then the sermon gets even crazier: 'This is an idea that cannot be stopped'

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church senior pastor Jamal Bryant compared Vice President Kamala Harris to Queen Esther after Harris spoke at the church on Sunday.Esther, a Jewish woman who became queen of Persia, courageously rescued her kinsmen, the Jewish people, from destruction in the Persian Empire. The story is retold in a book of the Bible bearing her Persian name, "Esther."'If God has anointed us to flip the state once, we can do it again, because if God be for us, who can be against? This is an idea that cannot be stopped.'Harris, according to Bryant, is exactly like the Jewish heroine.During his speech, Bryant preached from Esther 4:14, which says:For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? But in his retelling of the Esther story, Bryant not only equated Harris with Esther, but he appeared to equate President Joe Biden with Mordecai, the legal guardian of Esther who refused to bow down to Haman, a high-ranking Persian official, setting off Haman's plot to exterminate the Jewish people. Oh, and that genocidal plan? Bryant equated it with opposition to the leftist, progressive agenda. In other words, whatever Bryant thinks is the opposite of the leftist agenda, he equates it to Haman's genocidal plan."In ancient scripture, we find an occasion where they were plotting to destroy all the minorities because they wouldn't break," Bryant said. "They came up with a strategy on how it is that they could destroy minorities, and they crafted an agenda called 0025. And in Project 0025, here's what it is that we find in scriptures that they wanted to fire every person who did not agree with dictatorship. They wanted to end the independence of the Departments of Justice. They wanted to dismantle the Department of Education. "In this diabolical plot to destroy your community, they wanted to rob women of the right to make decisions over their own bodies," he continued. "They wanted to change tax codes so that businesses could do better than families. They wanted to dismantle Medicare and Medicaid and wanted to stop Social Security, and they wanted to stop the cancellation of student loans."Regarding "Mordecai," Bryant said, "Mordecai understood that in order for the nation to be changed, a woman had to do it."After denouncing men who do not support female leaders, Bryant turned his attention to Harris and suggested that she, like Esther, has been anointed by God to carry out a divine mission. "Can I just preach to the vice president? Who knew that 60 years ago today, you were born to be president? You were born to lead a nation. You were born to change the trajectory of democracy. Who knows? But you were born for such a time as this," he declared.Later in his speech, Bryant vaguely accused election officials of disenfranchising voters while suggesting that a Democratic victory in the Peach State has been divinely ordered."If God has anointed us to flip the state once, we can do it again because if God be for us, who can be against us? This is an idea that cannot be stopped," he said.Throughout his speech, Bryant did not return to the Bible. He did, however, quote John Maxwell, Victor Hugo, and William Shakespeare. At the end of his speech, Bryant urged his congregants to lift their hands to God as he prayed for Harris, requesting that God assign 100,000 angels to protect her. Later, he instructed his congregation that, immediately upon leaving church, they go vote. Like Blaze News? Joe Rogan triggers woke outrage after he visits US Grand Prix garage

Joe Rogan was invited into a McLaren team garage before the 2024 United States Grand Prix race Sunday in Austin, Texas — and woke Formula 1 fans accused McLaren of supporting a "conspiracy theorist" who spreads "misinformation."The podcasting legend and UFC commentator — who attended the event with his wife, Jessica Ditzel — appeared in one of McLaren's social media videos.'Let's see how much misinformation he can spread in 30 seconds.'"Welcome to the McLaren garage, Joe Rogan," the racing team wrote on Instagram.A known car enthusiast, Rogan seemed ecstatic as he smiled ear to ear while speaking to the camera: "Hi, I'm Joe Rogan, and I'm here in Austin at the Formula 1 race in the McLaren garage. Pretty amazing."He added, "We're very excited to be here. Super psyched for Formula 1. Let's go!"Of course, Rogan's very existence was enough to trigger leftist race fans, who quickly jumped into the comments to criticize his appearance."Why on earth are you supporting a conspiracy theorist fascist supporting blowhard?" one viewer wrote."Wtf, might as well invite Alex Jones," another said. Joe Rogan hugs celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.Photo by Peter Fox - Formula 1/Formula 1 via Getty ImagesSeveral users claimed that hosting Rogan was an endorsement of "misinformation," likely due to his frequent discussions focusing on politics and controversial topics such as the COVID-19 vaccine."Let's see how much misinformation he can spread in 30 seconds," a social media user wrote."First Trump and now this?! McLaren is a shoe-in for the misinformation championship. Unfollowed," another replied. The latter comment presumably refers to former President Donald Trump making an appearance at Formula 1's Miami Grand Prix in May.At the time, controversy swirled after Miami Grand Prix officials reportedly sent a cease-and-desist letter to a Trump supporter. The race fan reportedly wanted to sell tickets to his suite at the event for $250,000 and put the proceeds toward Trump's presidential campaign. In 2023, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton sparked headlines when he criticized Florida during the Miami Grand Prix over "anti-LGBTQ measures.""I stand by those within the community here," Hamilton said. "I hope they continue to stand firm and push back. I'll have the rainbow on my helmet. It's no different to when we were in Saudi [Arabia]."On Sunday, McLaren cars driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished one-two while Red Bull Racing Honda's Max Verstappen rounded off the podium in third.Like Blaze News?
