Former President Donald Trump’s legal team told CBS News on Monday he was considering litigation if the news outlet did not release the full transcript of its “60 Minutes” interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.  CBS has come under fire in recent days after it aired two different versions of Harris’ response to a question on Israel, one in a promotional clip online and the other in the actual broadcast interview. Trump’s legal team argued that CBS edited Harris’ answer to tilt the scales in her favor and mislead the public ahead of the presidential election.  “Such manipulative editing was aimed at causing confusion among the electorate regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’s abilities, intelligence, and appeal,” Trump lawyer Edward Andrew Paltzik wrote in a letter to CBS. “News organizations such as CBS have a responsibility to accurately represent the truth of events, not distort an interview to try and make their preferred candidate appear coherent and decisive, which Harris most certainly is not. Due to CBS’ actions, the public cannot distinguish which Kamala Harris they are seeing: the candidate or the puppet of a behind-the-scenes editor.” Trump’s letter demanded that CBS release the full unedited transcript of the interview to the public and to preserve all documents and communications about the interview “in contemplation of possible litigation.” “The executives and producers at CBS, and 60 Minutes in particular, are unquestionably aware that the purpose behind editing the Interview was to confuse the electorate and portray the Vice President in a better light than a full, unedited transcript would reveal. Responsible news sources must be held accountable to the highest standards,” Paltzik wrote.  The edited portion in question came during a discussion on Israel when host Bill Whitaker said, “But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.”  In a promotional video posted online, Harris responded to Whitaker by saying: “The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.” In the interview that aired, Harris responded by saying: “We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ COMING TO DAILYWIRE+ OCT. 28 CBS has responded to criticism of its editing by saying it just broadcasted different parts of the “same answer.” “60 Minutes gave an excerpt of our interview to Face the Nation that used a longer section of her answer than that on 60 Minutes,” CBS said on Sunday. “Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response.” On Truth Social, Trump said that the editing of the interview could “be the Biggest Scandal in Broadcast History!” “When will CBS release their Transcript of the fraudulent Interview with Comrade Kamala Harris? They changed her answer in order to make Kamala look intelligent, rather than ‘dumb as a rock,’” he posted. “CBS MUST GET THE TRANSCRIPT OUT NOW — Litigation has already started. Harris wasn’t able to put two sentences together, so they completely removed her answer, and put in another one.”

US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) member Brendan Carr has publicly singled out yet another case of Facebook (Meta) censorship of a post that is factually correct, but critical of the Biden-Harris regime. In his post on X, the commissioner also revealed that the censored content was flagged by one of Facebook’s “fact-checkers.” The Facebook post quoted by Carr states that Harris and Biden had promised to spend $42 billion dollars to expand internet coverage in the US, but that not even one household or business actually got service thanks to that infrastructure plan. This statement is accurate, states the FCC commissioner, who by virtue of his job, should know. And yet, it got flagged as “false information” – as determined by a third party fact-checker. This doesn’t outright remove posts, but according to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, makes them all but invisible on Facebook, with 95 percent fewer clicks and between 38 and 47 percent fewer shares. Carr said that the label was slapped on the post “not because anyone has been connected (to the internet via the plan) – no one has – but because the government has been spending money while not connecting anyone.” To make matters worse, the fact-checkers “facts” based on which a true statement was declared “false” came from those criticized – Biden-Harris officials. And, the FCC commissioner recalled that Zuckerberg recently promised Congress that there would be no more censorship on his platform (and expressed regret this happened in the past) – not “at the behest of the Biden-Harris Administration,” as Carr put it. Carr, a Republican, was in the past critical of censorship happening on Meta, but also other major Big Tech social platforms, accusing them of being politically and ideologically biased, and of “building in” that stance into their algorithms, which control anything from search to AI-generated tools. Some of his comments had to do with Meta AI and Google’s Gemini showing they are programmed and further “learning” to promote historical and racial bias, as users interact with them. Horchata and Coquito are both absolutely delicious beverages. One is coconut based and the other uses various ingredients such as rice flour or almonds. Today I’m going to share with you one of my favorite versions of each drink. These drinks are traditional across Latin America including Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and many more. Horchata And Coquito Drinks Horchata As I mentioned earlier, there are several varieties of Horchata beverages. You can find Horchata made with various seeds, nuts, and grain such as almonds, sesame seeds, rice/rice flour, tiger nuts, barley, and melon seeds. The recipe I make uses the rice flour. Ingredients: 4 Cups Whole Milk 1 Cinnamon Stick ½ Cup Rice Flour – I grind my own. 1- 14 Ounce Can Sweetened Condensed Milk 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract Ice Cubes Directions: In a medium saucepan over medium heat bring the milk and the whole cinnamon stick to a low simmer. Remove from the heat and pour it into a bowl. I prefer to use glass. Whisk in the condensed milk, rice flour, and vanilla. Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes allowing it to completely cool. Once the mixture is cooled, use a cheese cloth to strain and separate the drink from the flour. If you want to make “adult beverages” you can add ½ of a cup of Spiced Rum and stir. Pour over ice and enjoy. Coquito I grew up drinking Coquito, when I was young I called it Puerto Rican egg nog because we drank it around the winter holidays. This coconut drink is incredible! Ingredients: 28 Ounce Can of Coconut Cream OR Milk 1- 14 Ounce Can Condensed Milk 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract 3 Eggs or 3 Egg Yolk Cinnamon To Taste Ice Cubes Directions: Add all of the ingredients to your blender including the ice and blend into an icy drink. This drink can also be made into an adult beverage by adding some Spiced Rum. This drink is delicious, if you don’t believe me, try it out yourself at your next get together and let the critics decide. If the drink is too thick for you, you can add a little whole milk to it.
