The hosts of ABC’s “The View” worked overtime on Thursday to recast Vice President Kamala Harris‘ latest interview — with Fox News anchor Bret Baier — as a win for Democrats. Their strategy — which mirrored the strategy adopted by a number of pro-Harris accounts on X — was to attack Baier, suggesting that he was unfair and rude to the Democratic presidential nominee and arguing that he only pushed back on her because she’s a woman. Sunny Hostin was first to lodge her complaint, saying, “He is known for doing the bidding of Fox News, but he ends his show every night as ‘fair, balanced and unafraid.’ Well, that was not fair and balanced.” WATCH: Faux conservative clown Alyssa Farah Griffin whines that Baier asked "questions Fox News viewers want answers to" and lies about the clip of Trump he played. Sara Haines claimed that Harris — who responded to each question by rambling until she found a good point on which to pivot and attack former President Donald Trump — had “held her own” and argued that Baier’s attempts to keep Harris on track amounted to sexism. “The constant jumping in, I couldn’t help but feel it’s because she’s a woman,” she said. The hosts of “The View” were not alone in their complaints about Baier, although they were primarily joined by far-Left politicians and media personalities like former Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO). “I figured @BretBaier would be tough. A decade ago if you asked a man the manliest thing he could smell like, no doubt he would say gunpowder and whiskey with a hint of cigar. Their mission was to “redefine what it means to be a man.” Stubel said in another statement, “As a global lifestyle brand, we see it as our responsibility to use our platform and reach to help drive positive change and champion good,” Strubel said. “In fact, consumers today actually demand that, and as society changes, we’re committed to leading a celebration of a more modern and inclusive view of masculinity. We realize this means tackling very tough issues, including toxic masculinity. “By championing individuality, self-acceptance, and self-expression,” he continued, “we want to encourage guys to be what they want, dress how they want, love who they want and live more freely … If we can shift this paradigm, we can help break the cycle of toxic masculinity and create a healthier, more equal world for both men and women.” Apparently, Axe thinks guys want a deodorant that overhauls traditional masculinity. That just stinks.  This should come as no surprise since Axe falls under the Unilever umbrella, the leftist company that sells you Dove — the wokest wash around. Former CEO Alan Jope said in 2021, “The two biggest threats that the world currently faces are climate change and social inequality. The past year has undoubtedly widened the social divide, and decisive and collective action is needed to build a society that helps to improve livelihoods, embraces diversity, nurtures talent, and offers opportunities for everyone.” But never fear, men of good hygiene. But what about men who just want to smell manly and attract beautiful women? Wisconsin Senate candidate Eric Hovde said that Vice President Kamala Harris is skipping Thursday’s Al Smith dinner in New York City because her campaign is in “panic mode” and wants to hide her from public scrutiny.  Hovde told The Daily Wire that Harris was skipping the annual Catholic fundraiser, which traditionally features presidential candidates in election years, because they were trying to keep her out of the public eye. “As we know she has a hard time stringing sentences together if she’s on the fly,” Hovde told The Daily Wire. “Unless she has teleprompters telling her what to say, she’s just not good.” Hovde added that Harris’s limited interactions with the public mirrored President Joe Biden’s approach during the 2020 campaign.  “We’ve never seen a presidential candidate ever restrict themselves like this, with one exception,” he said. “That was 2020, during the COVID lockdowns, and they ran Joe Biden from the basement because they knew he wasn’t very good — because he probably had onsets of dementia.” Without lockdowns as an excuse to keep Harris out of the public eye, Hovde says her campaign was “doing everything in their power to hide her.” Harris will give a video message to attendees of the Al Smith Dinner, which typically features candidates taking light jabs at each other. Former President Donald Trump, who is attending the dinner, criticized Harris for skipping the event.  “It’s sad, but not surprising, that Kamala has decided not to attend,” Trump said in September. “I don’t know what she has against our Catholic friends, but it must be a lot, because she certainly hasn’t been very nice to them, in fact, Catholics are literally being persecuted by this Administration.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ COMING TO DAILYWIRE+ OCT. 28 Hovde is locked in a tight race with incumbent Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin as both Trump and Harris focus their efforts on the Badger State. A recent internal poll from the National Republican Senatorial Committee showed Hovde with a one point lead over Baldwin, whose internal polling also shows a close contest. Hovde told The Daily Wire that he has surged because of his focus on issues like the economy, inflation, and illegal immigration.  Baldwin and Hovde are set to meet for a debate Friday in Madison hosted by WMTV at 7:00 p.m. local time.

Donations for an Arkansas man named Aaron Spencer, 36, poured in online this week, after Spencer was arrested for killing 67-year-old Michael Fosler, whom Spencer found with his missing 14-year-old daughter. According to a Facebook post from Spencer’s wife, the family had a no-contact order out against Fosler for allegedly stalking their daughter over the summer. Back in July, Fosler was reportedly arrested by another agency for internet stalking of a child and sexual assault. “This man had a no contact order for stalking/graping (sic) our child,” Heather Spencer said in the Facebook post. “We absolutely called 911 during the entire event. We had no idea this man was in contact with our child again.” “He was looking at the rest of his pathetic life in jail, and our daughter was the only witness,” the post continued. “We 100% in the moment thought he had taken her to kill her.” Spencer, who’s been released since posting bond, was arrested on a preliminary charge of first-degree murder, which is a Class Y felony, and booked into Lonoke County Detention Center, Fox News reported this week. Defense lawyers told Fox they suspect Spencer will see his charges reduced based on the circumstances of the incident. When the public heard about Spencer’s arrest, more than $100,000 in donations reportedly poured in through a GoFundMe account for legal expenses. However, the platform reportedly pulled the fundraiser without explanation. “Our GoFundMe me was removed and people are being issued refunds,” Heather Spencer said. “If you donated I apologize I have no idea why this is happening.” A GiveSendGo account was then created for Spencer. Currently, the account is closed, but offers the following message: Words cannot express how deeply appreciative we are for the support coming in all over the world. Gun Owners of Arkansas, a nonprofit, now has a fundraiser for Spencer, but it’s unclear how much has been raised. “After conducting research and reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident involving Mr. Aaron Spencer, Gun Owners of Arkansas has concluded that he was justified in his actions under Arkansas Self Defense Law, despite being preliminarily charged with first-degree murder,” the group said. “We have mobilized our Defense Fund Account to support a fellow gun owner. ” Heather Spencer said online that her daughter is a “victim” and “prayers” are holding her family together. “At the end of the day, our daughter is a victim and we have a long road of recovery for everyone,” she wrote. “We are so thankful for all the calls, messages and prayers. Despite the legal stuff, our family has been through something we don’t wish on anyone. Please keep us in your prayers, if you can donate, great, but prayers are holding us together right now.”
