DEI Trainer Gets Oregon Employee Placed On Leave For Hiring 'Candidates Most Qualified' - Not Minority Status

The cult of intersectionality is claiming more of its victims in the workplace. Oregon recently placed their deputy state forester, Mike Shaw on leave after their purple-haired DEI trainer filed a complaint that he sought “candidates most qualified for the job,” rather than race and gender, reportsthe Daily Mail. Who would’ve thought in 2024 you'd be punished for discrimination for refusing to discriminate against applicants? But Megan Donecker, the forestry department’s former Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chief says hiring should be done through an “intersectional lens,” which means their process should be a victimhood contest determining whose ancestors were more oppressed. Donecker also whined that six queer staffers didn't “feel safe or comfortable” at work because they could not have a “conversation around pronouns.”  In other words, discrimination also means refusing to comply with a re- write of truth. The department didn’t seem to have time for her ideology, which is apparently why they’re in hot water.  The DEI radical, a white woman who describes herself as an “accomplice to marginalized communities,” wrote in her complaint that she was “cut” from leadership meetings for her efforts to re-educate them.  She lambasted Shaw for comparing identity-based hiring to a “speeding car on an icy road.” “We don't go 60 (mph) out of the gate, or we're gonna crash the car,” Shaw allegedly told Donecker during a one-on-one meeting. Feeling defeated, Donecker has since quit her job. She is now working with Oregon's children, as the "Equity Trainer" and "Education Coordinator" for the state's department of Early Learning and Care. “I cannot emphasize enough how far back this is going to set myself and the work that I am trying to do,” she wrote in her complaint.

ARE YOU DRUNK? Politico Proclaims Harris ‘Riding Dream Economy Into the Election’

Politico managed to make itself the butt of a really bad joke when it made a desperate attempt to prop up Vice President Kamala Harris by selling Bidenomics as the best thing since sliced bread before the November election. Politico’s tone-deaf Oct. 10 headline of its asinine story spoke for itself, and simultaneously condescended to its readers: “Harris is riding a dream economy into the election. It may be too late for voters to notice.” Ah, another media diatribe about how struggling Americans are just too stupid to see how star-spangled awesome the Biden-Harris economy is, eh Politico? The dense outlet’s X post of its story got brutally ratioed six ways to Sunday with over 3,000 comments and just over 500 likes. Fox News contributor Joe Concha was one of the many commentators who tore Politico’s absurd take to shreds: “A dream economy? You guys and gals have really outdone yourselves. Take a bow and enjoy the ratio.” Politico economics correspondent Victoria Guidas spun the hotter-than-expected inflation numbers released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Oct. 10 like it was some kind of Morning Again in America moment. “Annual inflation has fallen to 2.4 percent, its slowest pace since early 2021, signaling that the price spikes that have clouded President Joe Biden’s four-year term are over,” Guidas heralded. Meanwhile, on planet Earth, Investopedia analyzed that the new numbers meant that inflation was “dealing a blow to household budgets and the Federal Reserve's fight against inflation” as food prices increased. In fact, according to Investopedia, inflation numbers actually indicate “signs that prices could be stickier than previously thought.” But in Guidas’s world, the numbers “add to a solid economic picture that’s coming together just weeks before the 2024 election.” Her worry now is whether it’s too late in the game for Harris — who ironically has tried to separate herself from her boss’s atrocious economic record — “to get credit for it.” Meanwhile, a new LendingTree survey of 2,040 American adults found that 76 percent of Americans say inflation has caused them to struggle to pay bills. Harris is riding a dream economy into the election. It may be too late for voters to notice. https://t.co/52cgjsOk4I — POLITICO (@politico) October 10, 2024 Another Sept. 25 analysis by the Financial Health Network determined that “the majority of Americans are not financially healthy, with expenses outpacing income, little wiggle room to protect against financial shocks, and diminished hope for the future.” The outlook was grim: “No amount of scrupulous budgeting and meticulous planning can overcome math that simply doesn’t add up.”  But Guidas’s attempt to put lipstick on the pig by propping up a slowing inflation rate that’s still proving feisty and making everything out to be hunky-dory falls flat when viewed in the larger context. An MRCTV analysis found that prices spiked at 19.9 percent in the 44 months of the Biden-Harris administration, while gas prices have been up 38 percent since Biden took office. As Washington Examiner Chief Political Correspondent Byron York concluded in his takedown of Politico on X: “You can tell people it's a 'dream' economy all you want, but that doesn't mean they'll believe it. Certainly a zillion polls suggest otherwise.”  You can tell people it's a 'dream' economy all you want, but that doesn't mean they'll believe it. Certainly a zillion polls suggest otherwise. https://t.co/oEZzJmzpUX — Byron York (@ByronYork) October 11, 2024 Conservatives are under attack. Contact Politico at 703-647-7999 and hold them to account for gaslighting the American people on the true, horrific state of the Biden-Harris economy.

Biden Admin Colluded with Foreign Gov’t to Censor US Speech: Report

Biden Admin Colluded with Foreign Gov’t to Censor US Speech: Report

The Biden-Harris administration reportedly colluded with foreign government entities in silencing Americans’ free speech, and one congresswoman has had enough. According to documents obtained by America First Legal (AFL) in September, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) took advice from UK government censors on how best to crush speech. The shocking documents came amid Rep. Nancy Mace’s (R-SC) campaign to defund foreign censorship and prevent domestic election interference by suppressing speech. They also come after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted to censoring COVID-19 speech after government pressure. As alleged by AFL, the Biden White House hosted the UK government Counter Disinformation Unit (CDU), which in turn told federal officials in 2021 to create a dedicated and centralized hub to lead government-wide censorship campaigns. The British also advised enacting legislation to allow government coercion of social media and punishing Big Tech if they didn’t comply, all violating the First Amendment.  AFL explained that the UK recommended that the Feds partner with companies for the purpose of flagging content to be censored, and that the State Department work with foreign allies and institutions to make the censorship collusion global. The UK and US officials discussed how to pressure social media and maintain public-private partnerships to enforce “leftist dogma,” including about COVID-19. “These slides expose the Biden-Harris Administration’s cooperation with ideologically aligned leftist allies to push woke progressive dogmas while monitoring and censoring what Americans think and say,” AFL announced. AFL noted that attendees at the UK-U.S. event included “high-level staff from the White House, the NSC, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Departments of State, Treasury, Defense (DOD), Homeland Security (DHS), and Health and Human Services (HHS), the U.S. Agencies for International Development (USAID) and Global Media (USAGM), as well as high-ranking officers in the Army, Navy, and Air Force.” Mace, the House Cybersecurity Subcommittee chairwoman, was working to prevent government-tech election censorship collusion such as swayed the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor, as a 2020 MRC poll illustrated. Mace also recently introduced the No Funds for Fascists Act, as the New York Post reported, which would prevent U.S. taxpayer funds from going to foreign governments that undermine free speech and pressure Big Tech. Mace introduced her bill in reaction to the “extreme, over-the-top, and un-American” UK-US censorship effort exposed by AFL, according to the Post. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on “hate speech” and equal footing for conservatives. If you have been censored, contact us using CensorTrack’s contact form, and help us hold Big Tech accountable.

Pastor granted bond after 2 years in jail for allegedly shooting his wife's lover dead outside busy restaurant

A Baptist pastor in Missouri’s Ozarks has been granted bond after spending two years in jail for allegedly shooting his wife's lover outside of a busy restaurant in broad daylight. Matthew Dedmon — a 49-year-old pastor from Springfield — drove his truck to the Ozark Courthouse Square Historic District and spotted his wife, according to KYTV-TV. He reportedly noticed that she was with 57-year-old Joe Newburn, whom Dedmon believed was having an affair with his wife. However, Judge Johnson on Oct. 1 reversed her own decision and went from no bond to $30,000.“The evidence is that defendant possessed a loaded gun on the square in Ozark outside a busy restaurant, and that gun was discharged three to four times, resulting in the victim’s death. This put everyone on the square in grave danger. There was evidence that this conduct was out of character for defendant, which causes concern about defendant’s decision-making and judgment,” Judge Laura Johnson wrote in September 2022. The Ozark Police Department said in a statement: "The victim was pronounced deceased upon arrival at Cox South Hospital in Springfield." Dedmon was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. “The seriousness of the charge increases the risk that defendant will not appear," Judge Johnson ruled. "For these reasons, the court will detain defendant without bond.”However, Judge Johnson on Oct. 1 reversed her own decision and went from no bond to $30,000. Dedmon — a pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Rogersville — was released on the condition that he wear a GPS monitoring device and remain on house arrest.“Defendant may leave his home only for court appearances and emergency medical attention,” Johnson declared. A defense filing from before the latest ruling reveals that Dedmon's attorneys argued that their client should be granted bond.As of Wednesday, Christian County Jail records did not indicate Dedmon had been released. Dedmon’s murder trial is scheduled to begin March 3.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

Florida city's tone-deaf demand for permits after hurricane gets obliterated on social media: 'Profiting off the tragedy'

A cheery reminder from a city in Florida to residents that they need a permit in order to fix their fences was torched on social media. The bizarre message was posted by city officials on the Facebook page for Casselberry, a suburb of Orlando with about 29,000 residents. 'They’re profiting off the tragedy. They can take their permit and shove it.' "Building permits are required to be obtained for any fence repairs of TWO (2) or more panels and any home repairs due to the storm," the post read. "You must get a permit before starting your repairs."The post was immediately excoriated on Facebook by commenters who thought it was far too soon for the city to be piling on to the victims of the damaging hurricane. "Why would you post about this as people are recovering? This is extremely untimely and insensitive. A bad look for the City of Casselberry. Now is not the time. What a shame," read one comment. "Less than 10% of people are getting a permit.. a storm just hit, they’re getting it done as soon as possible.. not waiting to be approved, and taxed again to fix it.. not a good look for yall," read another comment. Image Source: Facebook City of Casselberry screenshot Screenshots of the post made it to the X platform, where the backlash really ramped up. "Without government, who would threaten to punish you for repairing your own fence after a storm?" responded activist Spike Cohen. "Government is often no different than the scam artists trying to take advantage of people in tragic times," read another response. "They’re profiting off the tragedy. They can take their permit and shove it," replied one critic. "Imagine having to repair 3 panels of fencing and you requiring a family that just survived a hurricane to ask your permission and pay for a permit. GTFO," said another detractor. "How much more despicable can you get?" asked another user. Officials say there have been 16 deaths in Florida tied to Hurricane Milton. About 238 people have died from Hurricane Helene, though many hundreds are still missing. A volunteer who is keeping track of missing people reports says his count is 1,412 missing people.Like Blaze News?
