Now Meat Processing Plants Are Targeted To Shut Down

Another attack on our food. This time it seems that meat processors are the next target. Meat and poultry prices have skyrocketed in recent years. We’ve seen beef and veal prices increasing for six straight months and predicted to keep rising. Now the EPA is creating new rules for meat processors which could put a lot of them out of business, causing job losses and supply chain issues. And with less meat processors, what will that do to the rest? Will they lower or increase their prices? Dozens of Meat Processing Plants Expected to Shut Down Under New EPA Rules. The plan continues…#nwo #reset https://t.co/uk5Z7dydry — M. Todd Trebony, MD FAAC (@doc_singing) October 4, 2024 ZeroHedge reports: Food prices—especially meat and poultry—have skyrocketed in the past four years and could be exacerbated further next year when new EPA rules for meat processors go into effect. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Price Outlook for September reported that beef and veal prices had increased for six straight months, and predicted they will rise 5.2 percent overall in 2024. Poultry prices also rose, although by a smaller percentage, and are expected to rise more before year’s end. The report traced the rise to factors including pandemic-related supply chain disruptions and the worst inflation since the 1980s. Next year could see still higher meat and poultry prices at the grocery store, analysts say. That’s because an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposal is expected to put some meat processors out of business, resulting in potential job losses and supply chain disruptions. The EPA announced a proposed rule change governing effluent, or wastewater, limits for meat and poultry processors in January of this year, followed by public comment in the spring. The agency’s final rule will go into effect in August 2025. The proposal has met with opposition from dozens of  states, industry stakeholders, and policy experts, who fear it will harm the industry, the food supply, and consumers. The proposed changes are spurred by lawsuits filed by a coalition of 13 environmental organizations. In 2019, the groups challenged the Trump administration under the Clean Water Act for not updating aging water pollution control standards for slaughterhouses and meat processing plants. In response, the EPA pledged to strengthen its regulations, without implementing changes. In December 2022, a second lawsuit was filed, resulting in the current proposal. The proposed rule contains three possible options for reducing wastewater discharges from slaughterhouses and poultry processors through water filtration technology. Benefits and Drawbacks The EPA estimates that the new rules would reduce pollutants discharged through wastewater from processing facilities by about 100 million pounds per year. The proposed rules would establish tighter limitations for nitrogen released into the environment by large processors and, for the first time, would limit phosphorus. The rules would apply to processors directly discharging wastewater into bodies of water, and, for the first time, would also apply to those indirectly discharging wastewater via water treatment plants. To those that don’t know, here’s a thread that shows that they’ve been lying about our meat for some time: When walking by the meat counter at the grocery store, you will likely see the label “Product of the USA.” You may even see labels like “Pasture-Raised” or “Grass-Fed” The labels are detracting from the fact that the beef you are about to purchase was not made in the USA. pic.twitter.com/o486HGoPKw — Brett Ender (@MeatMafiaBrett) May 23, 2023 The act required sellers/packers to disclose the country that the animal was born, raised, and slaughtered. This was a huge win for US ranchers, who have small margins to begin with and are strong-armed by the large 4 corporate packers. — Brett Ender (@MeatMafiaBrett) May 23, 2023 With the repeal of this act, you truly have no transparency into where your meat is coming from. For example: An animal can be raised, killed, and processed in Brazil, but if it’s packaged in the USA you can slap a USA label on it. Pretty insane right? — Brett Ender (@MeatMafiaBrett) May 23, 2023 The timing of this is pretty incredible when you realize we just brought you this report YESTERDAY: Can I Send You Two Free Ribeye Steaks? [From NOAH] Can I Send You Two Free Ribeye Steaks? [From NOAH] Hey Noah here (or should that be "NoahBae"?) and yes this is real. Allow me to explain... So 99% of the time we cover the hard news around here, and every so often I also like to work in something that I think you might really like.  Something that you might make your life better! This kind of blends both of those categories... One thing I've become very passionate about is our food supply, in all facets. Whether it's toxic things like food additives, Red Dye 3 and 40, toxic chemical additives, etc.... Or whether it's the direct attack on the food supply system itself with all the food processing plants blowing up, burning down, etc... Or whether it's the "Fake Food" they want to push on us like 3D printed steaks and salmon.... Or the "Plant Based Meat" that isn't much better.... Or the crickets that Klaus Schwab literally wants you to eat.... It's all under attack from literally every side! I can't solve every single problem, but I do have a solution for free range, hormone free, antibiotics free, mRNA free beef.  The real deal. Will that solve all the problems? Of course not. But I do believe that eating CLEAN red meat is incredibly important to our health. I've written a bunch of articles on this but I believe healthy amounts of direct sunlight (no sunscreens), eggs, red meat, Ivermectin, daily exercise and good sleep each night would solve probably 75% of all health problems Americans currently face. So I do believe it's quite important. The beef you buy at the grocery store is likely not free from antibiotics, hormones and/or mRNA and it's like not "grass fed". This is what they think "grass fed" means: This is "Grass Fed Beef" to most beef companies, even the so-called "Angus Beef".... I have a better solution: https://t.co/nj3zYRqhyM (cheaper too!) ☝☝☝ pic.twitter.com/WrMfQDQWgH — DailyNoah.com (@DailyNoahNews) October 4, 2024 That's not how I roll. I've personally searched out and partnered up with the single largest rancher in all of Idaho (and diversified in several other states too). I've even been out to one of the ranches in Idaho to see it myself and it's pretty incredible! They're doing everything right.... As I said, it's 100% FREE from Antibiotics, added Hormones and mRNA: They don't depend on ranchers....because they ARE the ranchers! They're what's known as "vertically integrated" meaning they own own and control every single step in the process from start to finish! The ranch, the processing, the packing and the shipping! Think all meat is the same? You have no idea until you actually try real meat. The stuff you get at the store has been so processed and "preserved" that you don't know the difference until you taste how it SHOULD be.... Check this out: They are committed not only to quality but to sustainability.... Basically.....? They're the anti-Bill Gates! I'm sure you've heard of Omaha Steaks or Butcher Box or other places that ship steaks right to your door, but if you're currently buying from Butcher Box, Omaha Steaks, Kansas City Steak Company or Chicago Steak Company, you're paying MORE and getting LESS than the company I have partnered up with: Riverbend Ranch, baby! Take a look: So if you're into steaks and you'd rather save some $$ money compared to the other companies listed above, or if you'd like to ditch the hormones, antibiotics and mRNA that is likely in the steak at your local grocery store, I have a MUCH better option for you. And because they are so confident you're going to love it, if you test them out and order some steaks in October, they're going to send you two completely free ribeyes! I told ya, stick around here and you'll not only get the news with no censorship, you'll also get some FREE bennies! Here's my personal link and you can do everything online: http://riverbendranchsteaks.com/WLTrump As I always like to say, who loves ya baby? Enjoy! NOTE: this is only good in October 2024, so if you're reading this after 10/31/24 I'm sorry but you won't get the two free ribeyes.

WOW: Former CDC Head Robert Redfield Endorses Trump, Says He And RFK Jr. “Got Everything Right”

Donald Trump just received another glowing endorsement, this time from former U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Robert Redfield. Article by Ethan Huff, republished with permission from Naturalnews.com Redfield, who served under Trump during the former president’s first term, told the media that both Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have “got everything right,” which is why Redfield plans to vote for them this November. Kennedy was reportedly surprised and “appalled” to find out that Redfield endorsed even him, seeing as how Kennedy has criticized Redfield in the past. Even so, Redfield would rather have Trump and J.D. Vance in the White House than Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. “Robert Redfield, who I really go after in my Fauci book, wrote an editorial in Newsweek magazine today saying that he was endorsing President Trump because President Trump was gonna restore American health,” Kennedy is quoted as saying. It appears, based on what he wrote in the editorial, that Redfield supports Trump precisely because of his alignment with Kennedy. “[Trump] has chosen exactly the only person who can do this: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,” Redfield wrote about how Trump and Kennedy are the only guys on the ticket capable of restoring American health. “This was breathtaking to me because this is the guy who’s the head of the CDC that I’ve been criticizing for years, and then this afternoon he came over and had lunch with me,” Kennedy continued in a statement. “And the first thing he said to me is, ‘you got everything right.’” NEW: Former CDC Director Robert Redfield endorses Donald Trump, admits to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. he “got everything right.” RFK Jr. explained how he was appalled to find out that Redfield, who he was extremely critical of, was endorsing Trump. “Robert Redfield, who I really go… pic.twitter.com/sBNJ0fDh7E — Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) September 25, 2024 (Related: Did you know that earlier this year, Redfield spread fear about an impending bird flu outbreak that never actually materialized?) Will Trump and Kennedy save American health? While Trump has repeatedly touted himself, and himself alone, as the only option that Americans have, period, to clean up the mess the country now finds itself in, Collin Rugg clarified on Twitter / X that Trump is simply the better pick as opposed to Kamala. Redfield, mind you, did not always approve of Trump, either. Between Trump’s actions and Kennedy’s statements, it is, indeed, shocking, at least on the surface, for Redfield to endorse Trump and Kennedy like he is. “It’s crazy how the ‘experts’ who were once part of the problem are finally waking up,” tweeted someone in response to the news. “Maybe people will realize Trump was right all along.” “That’s a stunning turnaround,” wrote another. “RFK has gone after this guy relentlessly the past few years. For this man to turn around and admit he was wrong and apologize to RFK is wild.” According to Cash Loren, what the world is witnessing right now is “a once in a generation political movement” that many expect will result in serious changes across the American landscape. “Trump is uniting Americans in a way that many thought not possible,” Loren said. “The things Redfield can reveal are massive,” said another. “I’ll bet Fauci fainted.” Others expressed a bit more skepticism about Redfield’s sudden endorsement. Could it be that Redfield knows what is coming and is desperately trying to land himself on the side that wins? “He sees the writing on the wall of what’s coming and wants to get on the right side of history while he still can redeem himself,” one said towards this end. “Redfield sees the writing on the wall and wants to crawl back into the good graces of the people that will be in power,” said another. Biden: Harris Was Integral to the Entire Agenda for 3.5 Years

We will never know if Joe deliberately tied Kamala Harris to his administration, but that is what he did. Democrats insist she is a new, fresh way forward. Kamala insists she is joy itself and will straighten out the mess she helped create. However, on Friday, Biden tied her closely to his entire administration and […] The post Biden: Harris Was Integral to the Entire Agenda for 3.5 Years appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Karine Jean-Pierre Falsely Claims FEMA Is Not Funding Migrant Resettlement Amid Hurricane Helene

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed during a press briefing that Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funds have not been used to house illegal aliens after administration officials said that the agency lacked adequate funds for the remainder of the hurricane season. When asked if FEMA funding is being used to house illegal immigrants, Jean-Pierre denied it, calling the claim “categorically false” and “a false statement.” But FEMA openly states that its funding has been used to house illegal immigrants who have entered the United States under the Biden-Harris administration. While FEMA has diverted funds to house illegal aliens who have entered the United States under the Biden-Harris administration, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said that FEMA doesn’t have enough funding to sustain operations through hurricane season. The comment came in the wake of Hurricane Helene, which killed over 160 people. FEMA, which says that its mission is “helping people before, during, and after disasters,” explained in 2023 that it was preparing to spend over $360 million in taxpayer dollars in fiscal year 2023 alone to house illegal immigrants through its “Shelter and Services Program.” That figure increased to $650 million in fiscal year 2024. The program seeks to “provide funding to non-federal entities that serve noncitizen migrants recently released from DHS custody to temporarily provide shelter, food, transportation, acute medical care, personal hygiene supplies, and labor necessary to manage cases,” as well as to “provide funding to non-federal entities to increase their capacity to temporarily shelter noncitizens recently released from DHS custody.” A report to Congress detailing the program explained that the funds could be allocated to “hotel/motel service provided for 45 days per individual or family” and “transportation from DHS release to shelter and services provider location,” including airfare. The agency argued that the use of its funds to support illegal immigrants is required because “the present-day irregular migration of noncitizens is unprecedented,” leaving states and localities unable to handle the surge.

Hurricane Helene’s North Carolina October Surprise

DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the deepest red areas of North Carolina. Hundreds are dead and missing in the region. Destroyed roads and bridges and lack of water and electricity will make voting a challenge in a region that contributed a net of 231,000 votes for Donald Trump’s 2020 margin of 74,000 votes in the state. With early voting set to begin on Oct. 17, the storm’s aftermath could have significant electoral implications. Right now, 61 early voting sites are affected, and it remains nearly impossible to access parts of Western North Carolina. Infrastructure is expected to remain down for several weeks, extending well into the early voting period. The Democratic response to the hurricane’s voting challenges will reportedly include expanding mail-in voting, using drop boxes, and setting up pop-up voting sites. There are also new rules being considered regarding provisional ballots to accommodate those displaced by the disaster. However, the concern is that measures designed to help voters in hurricane-affected areas might be applied across the state, particularly in densely populated regions that are less affected, creating the potential for partisan advantage. There is a high probability of a sue-and-settle lawsuit on 14th Amendment equal protection grounds brought by the likes of Marc Elias that would argue that loosened voting rules in the West must be applied evenly throughout North Carolina—even in urban areas untouched by the hurricane. This was the same tactic used successfully in 2020 with COVID-19 as the excuse to change election rules. As Amb. Rahm Emanuel, former Chicago mayor and chief of staff to President Barack Obama, famously observed: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” What’s rarely mentioned is the second half of Emanuel’s statement: “And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.” If Vice President Kamala Harris flips North Carolina, she wins the White House. The GOP, recognizing these concerns, is mobilizing the state Legislature to push back against some of these changes. However, with early voting fast approaching, the Republican effort faces a race against time. There is also uncertainty about what additional changes may be implemented by Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper or the North Carolina State Board of Elections, potentially bypassing the Legislature entirely. Of course, weather can have a significant political impact—ask any mayor whose town was hit by heavy snow and didn’t have the streets cleared soon after. While federal assistance has lagged, state-level responses have been swift. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis immediately deployed the National Guard to assist neighboring states. Some 19 states have sent in search and rescue teams. These local responses often have a much more immediate and visible impact compared to the federal government’s slower bureaucratic processes. Meanwhile, a potent tool of federal relief at Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), North Carolina, one of America’s largest military installations, sat impassive, its massive fleet of helicopters and thousands of soldiers, idle, until President Joe Biden called up 1,000 soldiers more than five days into the disaster. Further complicating matters, the Federal Communications Commission’s cancellation of its contract with Starlink last December left hard-hit rural areas vulnerable to prolonged communication outages. Starlink is now providing emergency satellite terminals, but if the contract had remained in place, it could have significantly bolstered emergency communications. The cancellation was speculated to have been politically motivated due to Elon Musk’s opposition to the Biden administration. Yet, one might be forgiven for thinking the Biden-Harris administration’s response to Hurricane Helene was swift and flawless—especially comparing it to the prevailing left-wing media’s coverage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Then, President George W. Bush was widely criticized for the delayed federal response, with the media highlighting Bush’s aerial flyover of New Orleans as a symbol of detachment. The media’s portrayal of Bush as uncaring hit hard in the 2006 midterms with Republicans losing both houses of Congress. When Superstorm Sandy slammed into New York and New Jersey just before the 2012 elections, the National Guard was deployed to set up and run precinct voting locations out of tents. Obama benefited from a highly visible bipartisan hug from then-Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey a week before Election Day. Amid the destruction and misery, Hurricane Helene’s full political punch is still to be determined—but understand this, it will influence the 2024 election.
