Atari 2600 Starmaster: Activision’s Take on an Atari’s First-Person Space Shooter

Starmaster is a video game written for the Atari 2600 by Alan Miller and published in June 1982 by Activision. The game is similar to Atari 8-bit family game Star Raiders. Starmaster was not ported to other systems, but has been re-released in collections such as Activision Anthology. Miller programmed other Atari 2600 games for Activision including Ice Hockey and Robot Tank. In this video, Jon plays through a full game and shows just what makes it stand out among the best for the platform! #atari #atari2600 #activision #genxgrownup SHOP (affiliates) genxgrownup.com/amazon PATREON patreon.com/genxgrownup MERCH GenXGrownUp.com/merch MEMBERSHIP bit.ly/395HEr9 PODCAST GenXGrownUp.com/pod DISCORD GenXGrownUp.com/discord SOCIAL fb.me/GenXGrownUp GenXGrownUp.com/twitter www.tiktok.com/@genxgrownup www.instagram.com/genxgrownup/ WEBSITE GenXGrownUp.com THEME “Grown Up” by Beefy » beefyness.com SPONSORS King of Nerds » kingofnerds.tv Order of Cosmic Champions » www.orderofcosmicchampions.com The post Atari 2600 Starmaster: Activision’s Take on an Atari’s First-Person Space Shooter appeared first on Old School Gamer Magazine.
