There are many super bands of a particular band who buy tickets to several tour dates and kind of 'travel' with them, watching them play in different cities. That happens with The Pretenders and it's not something that the band's vocalist and guitarist Chrissie Hynde likes. She shared a message to those fans on her social media, saying that although she appreciates their love for the band and that they like to go see the band multiple times during a tour, she wants to see local faces in the front row and not always the same people that are following the band around. She asked them to give a chance to the local fans to be in the front row and see the band. Chrissie Hynde doesn't want the same fans in the front row every night "Hi All! First of all, thank you to everyone who’s come to see our shows. We’re in the homestretch of this year‘s tour and it’s been a real pleasure. Fantastic cities and fantastic audiences. We’ve had a great time playing for you. One thing we feel obliged to explain: When we go on tour, the whole point of it for the band is that we are playing to a different audience every night.
