Ken Susi Follows Ryan Neff Out The Door – As I Lay Dying Loses Another Member

Guitarist Ken Susi has announced his departure from As I Lay Dying. His exit comes just six days after bassist/vocalist Ryan Neff said he was leaving.: “My time playing with As I Lay Dying has come to an end today (10/24),” wrote Susi on social media, “Unfortunately, my personal morals have recently been tested to a breaking point, and it’s now the saddest ending to what could have been the greatest second chance for this band.” As I Lay Dying’s “Through Storms Ahead” European tour which was scheduled to launch next month has reportedly been cancelled. “Ryan Neff is receiving a lot of backlash for stepping down first, and I regret not sharing this decision sooner and standing confidently with my friend — he’s a flawless musician and an even better person,” added Susi. Both Neff and Susi joined the band in ’22. As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis was convicted and sentenced to prison in ’14 for his role in a murder-for-hire plot against his estranged wife. Since the band’s reunion in ’18, following Lambesis’ release from prison, bassist/vocalist Josh Gilbert and guitarist Nick Hipa left the band – subsequently replaced by Neff and Susi. As I Lay Dying’s eighth full-length studio album, “Through Storms Ahead,“ will be arrive on November 15th. ### The post Ken Susi Follows Ryan Neff Out The Door – As I Lay Dying Loses Another Member appeared first on RockinTown.
