Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy (For Two)
Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy for Two is an easy dinner recipe that features tender, seasoned shredded chicken coated in a creamy gravy!
A HEARTY CROCK POT DINNER RECIPE FOR TWO
My original Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy recipe is one of my most popular. But sometimes you just don’t need to make as much, right? So, I figured, why not make a smaller version so you can have a delicious filling dinner for two? My other recipes for two have been such a big hit everyone that I thought I would take some of the more popular recipes on my site and scale them down for you so you don’t have to do all the work of figuring it out yourself. I will say that if your chicken breasts are large, you will probably have a little leftover but it will be perfect for a little lunch the next day but not a ton leftover that you will be sick of it after 3 days!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What other seasoning can I use? Any other seasoning will work, if you prefer something else over the simple blend I used . You could try lemon pepper, Creole or Mrs. Dash seasoning. I would just be careful when choosing other options that include more salt. There’s already plenty of salt in the cream of chicken soup and the gravy mix, so if you add too much more, it’ll become too salty. How can I make this even creamier? You can make this dish even creamier by add some sour cream or heavy cream to the mixture closer to the end of the cooking time. Why is this sauce so thick? It might look like the sauce will be too thick when you first add it, but once the chicken cooks and releases its juices, it all comes together to form the perfect gravy. What can I serve this with? I like to serve this Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy for Two over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. It goes really nice with my Stovetop Mashed Potatoes or my Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes. How do I store leftovers? Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave. Freeze for up to 3 months.

InstructionsSeason 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts on both sides with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. It might be easiest to combine all the seasoning together in a small bowl then season the chicken breasts. Note: this is the TOTAL amount of seasoning, not the amount to use on each breast. Place the seasoned chicken into the bottom of a 4-6 quart slow cooker. In a large bowl, whisk together 10.5 ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup water and 1 ounce packet chicken gravy mix. Pour the sauce over the chicken and place on low for 5-6 hours or high 3-4 hours. Once the chicken is done cooking, shred it with a fork. Stir everything together in the pot so the chicken is well coated in the gravy. Serve immediately with rice, egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
